With renovations you’d think it would make it better. Waaaay to bring. Ceilings were so much better black. I’m. It shocked there isn’t one review of the gym after their remodel. I guess you get what Lu pay for at $25. The staff is always nice and they keep it very clean. Only reason for the one star: they earned it. Lights dimmed so I don’t feel like I’m about to go into surgery and paint the ceiling black. So much more enjoyable

March 25, 2025. I use the pool area and sauna mostly at this location. The current manager Chris has kept this place clean and well maintained. The pool and sauna are clean and the showers are certainly improved. I appreciate having a fitness club near me that is well maintained. Thank you.

I used to go to this LA fitness for the pool but it wasn't maintained properly. It was dirty and at times, too much chlorine. I tried it again 6 months ago and the new manager (I believe his name is Shannon) has maintained the pool and hot tub area in excellent condition. The pool is always clean and if there is any problems (like recently with the hot tub) he has it fixed quickly. I have since returned to this location for swimming.

This is the closest gym to me so I come here. I appreciate the intent of reminding members of gym courtesy, but the hourly/daily telecom announcement did disrupt my peace and workout flow. Hope they come up with a better methods of doing so.

Clean club! Everything I used was clean and in good working order. I was motivated to write this while I was dressing after my swim. I heard a clear voice come over the PA system asking people to please put away equipment when they were finished using it as consideration of other members. I could only smile broadly and when dressed, went to the front desk and praised him and shook him by the hand. Thank you, Chris!

This issue is endemic in most gyms and health clubs of my experience, and I've been working out in them for over 50 years. I always put things back either where I found them or where I know they belong. I can't understand why someone would not do this.

Chris Toussaint and Latoya make my work outs a pleasure. Chris runs a tight ship reminding everyone to rack weights properly, not to tie up equipment while talking on their cell phones, to leave bags and other personal belongings in lockers, etc. Latoya invariably greets members with a smile and offers help to those who ask for it.

I love the upgrades and the way they've maintained this location. The mornings are my favorite. Only people who are serious get up at 5 AM consistently. I still haven't been able to get in on that cycling class. The app said class canceled at 545AM the day before and then it said it was full. I'm going to figure it out though. I want to check the instructor out. I think his name is Steven? Wednesdays and Fridays at 545 AM. My friend said that he can't get in either so he rides dirty. I'm like what in the world is that? He said when you go to a cycle class even when it is fully booked and hope somebody won't show up. I'm not quite there yet. 😆 😅 😂 . Basketball is cool here. The guys aren't argumentative and hostile, just playing for fun and Fitness. The sauna is hot and quiet. They have signs asking members to respect the serenity of the sauna. You would think that you wouldn't have to put up these signs, but people are so selfish and inconsiderate, here we are. I hope all locations follow suit. Tons of cardio equipment, racket ball, over 100K lbs of weights on the floor. If you can't get it done here, you probably can't get it done. I don't like the annual fee, but I guess it is better than raising the monthly fee. You can get it done here. People are respectful and that's really important.

When are you guys going to go back to the spring hours ? Back in November the gym started closing at 6:00pm on weekends and with the hour change in March is supposed to go back to closing at 8:00pm on weekends. We make contracts with the agreement that hours schedules are going to be honored. Right now LA fitness is honoring the time schedule. DO BETTER!

I arrived at LA Fitness at 9:40 PM for a workout, expecting the facility to be open as advertised. Unfortunately, the doors were locked, and the front desk staff motioned for me to leave, indicating through the glass that the gym was closed. This was surprising and disappointing since the posted hours did not reflect this early closure. Plus, there were people still in the gym working out.

Consistency and transparency are key to building trust with customers, especially in a fitness facility where members plan their visits around the advertised schedule. I suggest revisiting the posted hours or calling to ensure they align with the actual closing time.

Furthermore, providing staff with customer service training could improve interactions during unexpected situations. A simple explanation would have been okay, but the unprofessional reaction is got was terrible.

LA Fitness has the potential to deliver reliable service, but instances like this erode customer confidence. If you are a customer, it is better to maybe drive a little further just so you can get a quick workout in.

Keep Chris!! I have been coming to this gym (and other LAF for years). Since the pandemic, it was beginning to look like this gym was purposefully not being taken care of with the intent of possibly closing. I even discussed this with other members. This is not my experience with other gyms. There were broken locker room doors, paper towels scattered throughout the gym (if you could find any), sinks not clean, shower tiles cracked and, soap dispensers pulled off the walls. But, since the hiring of Chris, that all has changed. The workout areas are cleaner and there has been a 180 degree turnaround in the locker rooms. I think LAF owes it to Chris for having changed the gym around in such a short period. He will do whatever it takes to maintain a clean gym, and that includes cleaning floors and sinks himself. I am quite sure that this is not in his job description! Other members and I are extremely thankful he was hired. Now, I would advise LAF to increase his salary. I also know that maintaining managers has been tough at this location. You have a great one in Chris. Keep him!

I was traveling on business and had some time for a workout. I found the closest LA Fitness to my hotel. This is, by far, the best LA Fitness I’d ever been to. The manager Chris couldn’t have been nicer. He let me join for the remainder of my trip for a small fee. My LA Fitness in NY has much to learn from Chris and his team here. Love this gym, it is so close to my home! I’ve been a member for over ten years. The place is amazing. The staff is awesome and extremely helpful. The gym itself is well equipped with more than enough machines to meet any workout goals. It has all the equipment you’d need for bodybuilding, casual lifting, cardio, and cross fit training!
Every single employee here makes you feel like you’re a part of the team, and they are so friendly. I believe the manager sets the tone and it shows.
A facility’s success and customer satisfaction all comes down to how it’s managed and I cannot say enough about the new Manager, Chris and GM Malcom. They know how to be intentional about membership experience, from their welcoming and positive demeanor the minute you walk through the door, to showcasing everything the facility has to offer and answering every question.
Chris is very impressive, respectful, and a huge asset to this location. I highly recommend this gym, definitely worth checking out!

The pool and hot tub have been out of order for at least 5 days, and the desk is unable to give an answer as to when it will be fixed.

My wife’s membership is Holcomb Bridge only. She signed up specifically for the pool.

Aside from always telling the desk about pool cleanliness and locker room maintenance, nobody is able to give any answer as to when they will be fixed.

When we asked if we can go to another location, we were told that Holcomb Bridge will have to call first.

This place is where greatness is born , and fear is stomped on! When I first got here Christopher was the manager! He was amazing and always made me feel welcomed. I cannot say enough great things about my experience at the Holcomb Bridge LA Fitness, thanks to the amazing General Manager, Malcolm Gonzales. From the moment I walked in, unsure if I even wanted to join, Malcolm’s professionalism and welcoming reception completely changed my mindset.

He made the entire sales process smooth and enjoyable, taking the time to understand my needs and goals. I came in looking to recover from a serious injury, and Malcolm went above and beyond to guide me every step of the way. He explained everything clearly, showed me how to use the equipment, and even took the time to calculate my BMI and set up a tailored diet and exercise program. His care and dedication didn’t stop after signing me up—he truly invested in helping me achieve my goals.

The gym itself is spotless, from the lobby to the equipment, locker rooms, and even the heated pool jacuzzi and sauna in addition to the fitness programs like cycling boxing bags and basketball courts. This LA fitness facility is in very bad shape. The sauna has been broken for several weeks. Nobody really checked and fixed. The change room is very old and dirty. Light bulb went off for several weeks. No one fix it. Only 1 paper dispenser in the bathroom work. Staff turnover is high. All equipments are not well maintained.

Honestly, this place needs some serious TLC. This location’s main benefit is that it has one of the only saunas in the are, but other than that it could do for some serious upgrades. From broken lockers in the men’s bathroom, to the uneven gym floor around the free weights that could cause an injury, all the way to the water stains in the ceilings in the workout areas, this place needs to be renovated or given some more funding to fix issues. The staff here do the best they can, however they could definitely be more attentive to the paper towel stations and the wet wipe stations, as they are frequently left empty, malfunctioning, or completely out of order. I’ve also had to notify the staff about sightings of roaches in the men’s locker room a few times. All in all, I visit this location only because of the sauna. The LA on the other side of the highway is much better, has newer equipment, and is much cleaner. I hope the right eyes see this review.

I’ve been a member since Jan 2024. I find the staff to be friendly & helpful especially when I need to understand how a piece of equipment works. There is a team who keeps the facility clean does a good job. I feel safe here and have begun to get to know some of the members. Don’t know his name, but the manager at Holcomb Bridge Rd in Roswell at 12 noon on Dec 4, 2023 is rude and insensitive. I’m having trouble with the LA Fitness app. Instead of listening to my issue, he kept talking over me and told me I was cutting into his break. He told me he didn’t write the app and can’t help me. I’ve been a member for 3 years and have never been treated like this so I know it’s not the organization, but the experience was upsetting. Wish I knew his name so I could warn folks to avoid him - especially on his break!

Very dirty LA fitness. Soap has been out in mens restrooms for days, the hand sanitizers haven’t been refilled in months - toilets are almost always clogged or feces all over them. I wish there was a better LA fitness closer to me.

When my arm broken due to accident. I had called to pause on my membership and personal training auto pay. I stopped by few times before I leave country for long business trip to address this matter. They were supposed to stop the payments. Not only they didn’t pause the membership also they charged me $900 per month for 4 months worth of $3600 for personal training which I never got service for it. Because my arm was broken in two pieces. Then I came back to address this again and they said they will give me credit to me or any family members that I want to put on file. Then I had to leave country and told the manager when I get back. When I got back there was another manager who didn’t help nor give credit to my family member. Basically I feel like I was scammed and robbed during my recovery.

This location is the worst. The women sauna is been out since June. Always men’s working there. Women can’t access the shower because of men working in the sauna. Nobody follows up. Can’t change or take a shower. Why don’t you put a curtain and have them enter from the men’s section. It’s ridiculous and absurd. Have to drive 12 miles to another location. Better close it

My guy Marcellus at the front desk is the man of the hour.. Not only hooked me up with day pass but gave me a tour of the place and also gave me a basketball to ball up. Highly recommend this gym and make sure to dap up my boy Marcellus at the front for me. I went to synergy and planet fitness before going there and let’s just say they blew the last two out of the water in terms of the gym itself and the staff!!! La Fitness y’all better hold onto that guy he will make the gym a lot of money!!!

Clean, organized 👌🏼, working out area and the men's room area, the only thing about this location is the machines in the working out area they are not vary compared to other locations. So you are gonna be limited in, the cardio machines vary.

The main section of gym is great. However, the men's bathroom, showers, and hall to the pool are disgusting. There is rust, mold, and dirty floors throughout the back. There is ways a dirty mop bucket in the restroom or shower area. HORRIBLE

I am compelled to write this review for LA Fitness as my recent experiences with them have been nothing short of spectacular. The gym is always in pristine condition, the coaches are top-notch, and the level of organization and professionalism demonstrated by the management is exemplary.

First and foremost, the cleanliness of the facility is commendable. In the current times, maintaining a hygienic environment is of utmost importance and LA Fitness goes above and beyond in this regard. The equipment is well-maintained, the locker rooms are spotless, and there is a constant effort to ensure that everything remains sanitized and safe for all members.

However, the highlight of my experience was the exceptional customer service provided by the General Manager. Due to an unforeseen situation, I was charged an unexpected cost. After explaining the situation to the General Manager, not only was I refunded the full amount, but the manner in which the situation was handled was professional, empathetic, and incredibly gracious. It is rare to find businesses that value their customers to this extent, and for that, I am truly grateful.

In summary, LA Fitness is not just a gym; it is a community that values its members and strives to provide the best possible experience for everyone. The combination of a clean environment, exceptional coaches, and outstanding customer service makes it a top-tier fitness center that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to elevate their fitness journey. filthy! the showers look as though they have not been cleaned in weeks. multiple machines out of service. machines missing the necessary parts. though many of the LA fitnesses I go to are in bad shape this one was embarrassing. LA fitness should be embarrassed to collect dues providing this poor place of business.

I love this gym so much!! I take a lot of the group fitness classes, I am impressed with their instructors! Staff is always nice and knowledgeable! 10/10 highly recommend!

Overall this is a very nice gym. The staff is very friendly and the gym is spacious. Lots of weights and aerobic machines. Been going to different LA Fitness locations for years and this is one of my favorites. Only complaint is they could do a better job of cleaning the men's locker room floors and lockers.

I've been a member here for 6 years, and the ONLY reason I've stayed at this location this long is because it's so close to my house. I keep holding out hope things will improve, but they just keep getting worse.
The main complaint is the lack of AC in the main gym area. This has been an issue the ENTIRE time I've been a member. It's too hot year round, but it's unbearable in the summer.
There is also a complete lack of cleanliness- floors/bathrooms/locker rooms/equipment and the small equipment is always disorganized all over the floor. Also, the sanitizing wipes and paper towels are usually empty.
I have managed fitness centers myself, so I can't understand why any of this is acceptable.
If you're thinking about joining, I do not recommend this location. However, the other locations in the area are nice.

So LA fitness has been my arch nemesis for years. I always call it Club LA. My reason for that is because it is always super crowded and people are in my way or bothering me. I finally had a good experience a couple of weeks ago and decided to try a different location. This location is definitely smaller than the rest. However, they were not a lot of people when I came in. I was able to work out in peace, and I actually signed up for a membership. Ciara was amazing. I am interested in taking some of her Zumba classes. I teach Pole fitness, so what I’m thinking is to have my students attend her Zumba class as well. It seems like fun. I also want to try to cycling class. They have a basketball court, a Pool, sauna, and showers. They also have lockers. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @rosadivina29 for more places I’ve visited.

I have LA fitness back home and to be honest many of my experiences could use some serious improvement. I think organizations like this expand a little to much causing a huge disconnect when it comes to making it a passionate work place. I waited on hold for a whole hour after trying to get ahold of someone multiple times and just ended up having to go in. For sure able to get the job done when it comes to workouts though and the layout is pretty good just service was absolutely TERRIBLE!! No acknowledgment neither walking out or into the facility but then again majority of the time there was no one even at the front.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM! They are never clean, and no one is ever polite. Cierra was amazing with helping us and answering our questions. There was blood on the door handles and it was there for over 8 days. To know that this place is not being cleaned properly is a health concern. They didn’t allow my daughters trainer to train her because they made up situations to push her out. It’s unkind and quite frankly it’s unacceptable. I have cancelled my membership and I will have my entire work place cancel theirs because I wont be responsible for anyone becoming sick! This place needs new management, and it needs to become a cleaner environment.

They wouldn’t allow me to cancel my membership over the phone because “of fear of canceling the wrong account “. I laughed said ok and hung up. They called me back twice immediately. I denied both calls because why talk if they can’t help me. Then left me a voicemail saying I was as rude for hanging up.

The customer service at this gym is APPALLING. We’ve been reaching out to them for well over a week and keep getting put off. We leave messages, the calls are not returned. We tried going in to speak to a manager and the manager is never there. Who’s running this?? Ridiculous. We’ll go elsewhere.
