Today was my first visit at LOFF. Overall, I am very pleased! My only suggestion would be to replace some of the very worn out machines. Some of the pads where you put your arms are worn completely through. Still, I had a good workout.

Price is ridiculous. I wish they had a Planet Fitness in our our instead. Price is more affordable. The price here is for the wealthy people that live on the lake so it's nothing for them to pay those prices. If you are going to increase your prices, add more amenities, perks and equipment.

Love that the tanning is 24 hours as well. Cleanliness is the main issue with the tanning beds. There are screws missing, broken acrylic where you lay and bed #1 has had a bulb out for months. You can see hairs that have been caught under the acrylic. I always clean my bed before and after each use. Can’t say that for a lot of the people who use the beds. Love the owners and the equipment is great. Just the tanning beds. I hope y’all will maintain them and keep them because the 24 hour option is very nice!

I have been coming to this gym for over three years and it gets worse year after year. It has undergone owner change and I was hoping things would improve but on the contrary they didn’t. Let me tell you some of the things that bother me:

1. Pricing has increased year after year. When I joined three years ago the individual monthly was $29 and now is $45. The individual yearly was $299 and now $499. With that increase you would have thought that came with numerous perks and state of the art equipment but no sadly some new paint on the walls and different flooring.
2. Updated bathrooms!! Woohoo!! Except no hot water access. I just love washing my hands in ice cold water. I wonder if the showers have hot water. Maybe I should wash my hands in their showers.
3. Not sure why the other reviews talk about how clean this place is when I’ve seen a cleaning crew clean this gym maybe twice in the three years I’ve been here. The people using the equipment do a better job cleaning it than the staff.
4. Never understood the theme of this place. An interior designer would have a field day with this gym. Different color walls, different types of flooring and the brightest LED lights you’ll ever see.
I can go on and on but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter. The lack of gyms in the area prevents me from moving on to somewhere else. So I put up with it for the time being. At this point I’m used to it. People don’t join this gym because they love it. They join because it’s this or nothing.

Gym seemingly has every machine you could think of to work out on and multiple bathrooms which is great. Pricing and cleanliness on the other hand are not so great. Prices recently went up to $39.99 for one person with a $30.99 charge tacked on once a year for cleaning which is not actually happening. The showers which I mostly used during my time there would routinely have the same trash, soap, dead insects, ect in the same locales. Recently entering with a friend and working out in the fitness room on two seperate days a few days apart, I noticed the same debris covering the floor. When I called to dispute the cleaning charge I was told they deep clean the place 3 times a week; I find that hard to believe. This place is a cash grab and I hope you don’t forget you have them on autopay.

Great service the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Everytime I come in there are always smiling faces, even from none staff members. Alot of customers and staff encourage everyone on any goals. If you have problems setting goals they even have personal trainers!!!!! On top of many options for classes with no extra charge on your membership ¡!! I mean really how cool is that. They have a day care as well and ame personaly as a parent this is extremely helpful I have to autistic twins and the staff is friendly and well manared with them so I never have any concerns.

I used this gym during the summer until I was moving to Kennesaw. After moving I realized I was still getting charged even after canceling my subscription, plus an additional enhancement fee. I tried calling multiple times and after no answer I had to make a claims through my bank. Just when I thought it was over, I was emailed the I owed $140 dollars. Instead of canceling my membership, I have somehow been added to a yearly membership that SOMEHOW didn’t start until August 27th even though I cancelled and moved two weeks before then. After talking to the billing department i was told they couldn’t help me and I needed to talk to the gym. Once again I contacted the gym and finally got in touch with someone just for them to say I’ll take your name and number down and report it to my manager since I have no authority in that.

Very bad customer service, cleanliness is terrible, there’s always cups or water bottles every where. The showers have this awful smell with mold growing near the drain I’m surprised it hasn’t been taking care of considering it’s been there for months. I can never get a hold of anyone when I call. Save your money! Anyone can get in without scanning their card so why even pay the monthly subscription.

I was unaware I was still getting charged monthly after I canceled and moved from the area....I've been trying to reach Lake Oconee Family Fitness by phone for going on 2 weeks and made 5-7 phone calls leaving messages but no one ever answers the phone and ZERO return calls. I planed on joining back when I returned in Spring but now feeling differently about the lack of respect and professionalism. Never in my 57 years I've had such poor communication with a business. I've been a business owner myself for all my life and would never treat a customer/client like this...

This is a nice local gym. It has two showers, 2 tanning beds and group fitness like yoga. They offer childcare at no additional cost. The staff is lovely and easy to talk to. The door is seldom broken so anyone can walk in so I would not suggest coming late night alone.

Love this place I do, I just really wish they had more core machines... Used to have this machine that you put knees on and twist with weights. I would love that one or a few cores. Over all though never too crowded. plenty of cardio machines. One of the ladies is always cleaning and I love that.

Been going to this gym over 3 years. The equipment is kept in good order and the bathrooms, equipment, and floors are clean. I like that the location has windows across the front so you can see out. The staff are nice but not in your business. If you want a trainer you can get one. Helena was my trainer for one year and taught me how to use all the equipment and told me what I needed to work on to meet my goals. I would highly recommend Helena. There are other trainers whom I have not met. This gym has lots of classes and they are always adding classes. Silver Sneakers is also accepted here.

In town for one day from Atlanta. Told front desk guy I was a firefighter from Atl and wanted to get a workout in and he said $10.00. WOW REALLY ??? For a few sets of squats ??? so I found Bodyplex up the st and they said you can work out free anytime your in town !!!
