I am disappointed. I injured myself in a group class during my first time in this particular class. I now know this class is not for me. My injury required medical intervention and pain. I emailed LT through there email system within the app. I accepted responsibility for my injury. There was no blame. The purpose of my email was to give them feedback to prevent this from happening to others as, due to my experience, I saw a major issue in this class that I had not anticipated with the information given about it on the app. I did not receive a reply of any kind. Please reopen the outdoor cold pool.
Many members use cold exposure as part of their recovery and wellness routine, and the cold pool is one of the most valuable features of this gym.

Right now, the hot tub and sauna are available, but the cold pool is permanently closed, and it limits the full recovery cycle. Many members, including myself, regularly practice contrast therapy, and it’s a major reason we chose Life Time over other gyms in the area.

This location has everything to be one of the strongest clubs in the region — it just needs the cold pool back in service.
A lot of people here would really appreciate it.

I had a membership here years ago and it was an awesome facility; however, things like the rock climbing wall, outdoor water slides, etc were never available during my visit times in the mid evenings. When I had started the price was around $55 -65 monthly and incrementally keep increasing throughout the year stopping at $75 when I had enough of paying such a price for features/amenities I couldn’t use. I ended up going back to LA Fitness paying $25 monthly with no increases and room to pay for a personal trainer. Now when I look at the price lifetime is charging vs LA Fitness post pandemic, it’s insane that people pay these kind of prices for a low-bow gym membership. LifeTime as of 07-24-22 is charging $119 for access to the Alpharetta location (no trainer included) and $199 for access to the Sandy Springs Roswell Rd location. LA Fitness is now $35 monthly. At the end of the day is just a gym being used for working out and staying in shape or getting in shape, not a membership to a Golf Club. That’s money better spent in other place.

Moved to Alpharetta temporarily from Brookhaven, due to a house issue. My wife and I were looking for a short term gym. Bryan gave us a tour and his customer service was fantastic! We tried the gym for a week, but realized it was not a fit for us. Main reason being that we simply did not (and do not see ourselves) utilizing the amenities (spa, Pilates, basketball courts, sauna, pool, etc). We thought we might, but realized it just doesn’t fit into our daily schedules. Life Time gave us an option to try and see….I spoke with Leemar and Patrick to explain our situation and they were awesome. They understood and provided great customer service to get us taken care of. Great facility, if you are looking for the extras besides just weights and cardio….

I’ve been coming to this gym for a little over two years, and it’s been life-changing! I love my coaches (Chris and Kristi) and how knowledgeable they are. The workouts they provide are science-based, which, as a healthcare provider, makes a big difference to me. They don’t see you as just a number, but as a person who’s trying to be fit and healthy.
Everyone who works here is so nice to me. This place basically has everything you need to stay healthy and look great — from fitness classes to a salon where you can get your nails and hair done. And I can’t forget to mention the smoothies — they’re absolutely delicious!
The recovery section is incredible too — they have massage tables, compression therapy, and even hot and cold massage tables. It feels amazing after an intense workout, and my body truly appreciates it!
My lower back had been bothering me, so I tried chiropractic care with Stephanie, and it was amazing! She’s very skilled and knowledgeable too.
I’m so thankful to be able to work out in a place that truly cares about you. I have no words for how much I appreciate my coaches — they are amazing, and I love how they push me even when I don’t think it’s possible. 💪💖

i have been a LFT member for over 15 years and I have seen how much LTF has changed, and NOT for the better.
My dues increase every year $10 and nothing is different, no improvement in anything and less access to things as I "grandfathered in". They just took out Cycling classes completely out of the schedule to built a Reformer Pilates studio where the cycling studio was. The members were given 2 weeks notice of this change and a "sorry for the inconvenience".
I used to have access to Peachtree Corners, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Sugarloaf and Woodstock. Now to have access to PC it's $100 more per month. LFT has gotten greedy the past decade and they are bleeding money everywhere, members need to start seeing improvements to us, and not taken things away from us, to justify the monthly fees.

Got pulled off from the Alpharetta open play pickleball court during the hour I was signed up to play when it was 11:53 because I wasn’t signed up for the next session. I was told they would pull me off the court at 12 if the match wasn’t done.

This is the only time I can play and I feel I was cut short.

The front desk at this gym feels more like a military checkpoint than a welcoming space. They hustle you about everything, and it’s hard to relax or enjoy your visit. Beautiful facility with a great number of pools, spa zones, and kids’ play areas — very impressed at first. However, I slipped and fell on a wet floor before even getting into the water. The floor was extremely slippery, and there was no caution sign where I fell. The warning sign was only placed a couple of hours later. My leg still hurts, and it definitely ruined the experience for me. I came here on my friend’s recommendation — she absolutely loves this place — but sadly, my visit was overshadowed by this avoidable accident. Disappointed with the lack of immediate safety measures.

It pains me to say but the membership is not worth it anymore. Even Planet Fitness has better (and cleaner) equipment. We basically pay to walk on a huge facility and the opportunity to join some classes, but the best ones have fees on top of the monthly membership. I wanted this gym to workout so much for me but it is just not it. The pool is disgusting, sorry. The weight lifting area have old and por equipment. The staff does not feel present. Please do better. I would love to stay as a member but you need to up your game!

I've been going to Life Time Alpharetta for a while now, and overall, it's a beautiful facility. The gym is spacious, the equipment is top-notch, and I really enjoy the variety of fitness classes they offer. The outdoor pool and lounge area are a huge plus, especially in the summer.

That said, the membership cost has gone up quite a bit since I joined. It used to feel like a good value, but at nearly $180/month now, it's definitely a premium. I’ve also noticed the locker rooms and pool area aren’t always as clean as they should be, which is disappointing for a place at this price point. Some staff are fantastic and super helpful, while others seem checked out.

If you’re looking for a luxury gym with lots of amenities, it’s a great spot—but it comes at a cost.

I grew up in Milton, so I have been going to Lifetime on and off for 15 years. I recently renewed my membership because they have a new coworking space and I am a remote worker. This place is old and not updated and should not be charging people for a signature price.. even the classes they offer is lackluster and not enough variety compared with other lifetime gyms for the same price.. Half the jets in the jacuzzi are not working and lots of the equipment doesn’t work properly. Nobody holds people accountable such as people not following the rules, everything from young kids under 12 in the jacuzzi, people not wearing proper swimwear, carrying large bags in the weight room, in the family locker rooms there are members who are not with families. Walls are dirty, kids horsing around…. I can go on and on. This gym is not worth the money. Complain to management and nothing will happen. People cut nails in pool area and locker room and in the sauna and in sowers they shave and women do body scrubs then jump in the pool or jacuzzis. Never mind kids are not supervised along with teenagers and adult … workers just are on their phones and don’t care at all…..and much much more things!

I’ve been a member of this specific Life Time for as long as I can remember. And while the interior of the gym, classes, and offerings provided are generally excellent, a recent experience has left me with a sour taste.

On Friday, August 9, 2024 I took my kids to go swimming. While we initially began swimming indoors, we eventually made our way to the outdoor pool. While holding my eldest daughter, I felt a sharp stabbing pain on the sole of my right foot.

Quickly getting both her and myself out of the pool, I looked at my foot and found an earring fully embedded in my foot.

With the help of family, we spoke with the lifeguards and removed the earring. There was quite a bit of blood and the lifeguard and employee at the front desk offered me a first aid kit. However, to both our dismays, they neither carried nor could find a first aid kit or any alcohol swabs. They did find one lone bandaid and provided it to me.

I spoke with the manager at Life Time today, August 10, 2024 and relayed the exact story as above. And while the manager apologized, he asked me if I had taken a picture of my foot for what I could only assume to be evidence and proof.

While I acknowledge that accidents can and will happen, particularly in a gym and even more so at a pool within a gym facility, the lack of any support and ill-preparedness in having a first aid kit handy and readily available is astonishing.

Definitely rethinking my membership here and would expect more for the price being charged.

I went for a tour yesterday and this was one of the dirtiest gyms I have ever stepped foot in. My first impression was using the restroom that was filled with water all over the floor, dirt, and trash all over. There was even bloody bandaids in the floor. The facility itself has a lot of amenities and probably could be very nice, but the lack of cleanliness everywhere was shocking. For 179 a month I would expect much better care to be taken of the facility. I also explained I was interested in the social club aspect of it for group sports, classes, and wanted clarification on the chiropractor on site and the tour guide didn’t give any information and breezed right past them all. They were quick to show me the exact same cost I saw online and “gave me a deal” to waive the 150 start up fee if I signed up yesterday, but it’s not a facility worth even half that cost. I didn’t think I was going to write a review. but honestly after thinking about it I think someone needs to seriously hire a deep cleaning crew.

Hi. This is a public proclamation that I’m not going to continue paying $120 a month to keep getting ringworm. I wipe everything down before using (which honestly I never did at my old gyms and I’ve never had ringworm before joining this gym). Half the time the sanitizer is nowhere to be found. Hardly any regular benches for dumbbell workouts, and they are always busy! I came in for one day around 6:30 am, all the benches and 1 variety of squat machine were packed… Then there would be like 50 cardio type equipment not being used… I can’t find a gym that gets this right. A failure to enforce the rules is leading to a level of chaos and frequent fighting between members. I am a 12 year member and have noticed a precipitous decline in standards. Aggresive, evidently homeless people are allowed to sleep on premise. Large bags liter the gym floor. People exercise in the sauna. Very clean and nice gym. I like that they have 2 indoor pools and 1 outdoor pool. They also have a nice essential oil steam room. They have a dry sauna as well in the rest rooms and a family sauna by the indoor pool. They also have a couple of hot tubs by the pool. You have to try out their EDG and AMP cycle classes, absolutely one of the best in class. They have a lot other classes which are fun for those who like to endure pain (no pain no gain). The life spa is nice and they also have chiropractic and physiotherapy on the premises. The rest room maintenance in the locker room could be better. Overall I enjoyed my experience.

I was one of the first members to this club. I have dropped my membership and rejoined a hand full of times since it opened for various reasons. I called to find out what I had to do to either freeze or drop due to some personal issues. I was told by the front desk that she would freeze my account for 4 months and charge me just 40 dollars per month. I assumed this was done , however it wasn't! When I found out I decided to drop my membership completely. I went in person and asked if they could drop my membership immediately and not wait 30 days and have so much more money come out since I was misled. I was told that I had to prove the veracity of my statement with written proof or name of the front desk person. I had plan to rejoin however after this last interaction I will not rejoin. I’ve the pleasure of the digital nomadic lifestyle and I’ve experienced many Lifetime fitness locations. This is by far the worst location I have yet to experience. There is a lack of cleanliness and generosity.

There is a European-American woman with a reddish bob haircut. I will watch her allow other members into the facility without checking them in. Every time she checks me in her implicit communication is that I’m inconveniencing her. I say thank you, hello, and she never greets me or acknowledges what I’ve said. I resent seeing her at check-in.

The facilities are not clean. Most importantly, know that if you have little ones and you use the family locker room, creeps pass through there. Random men will use it as an unjustified shortcut to the other side of the building or they will sit in the locker room and observe the families…. The men’s locker room is literally next door. Intolerable

We very much enjoy hitting the indoor and soon outdoor pool nearly every day. Congrats to the whole staff for their excellent hospitality and attention to detail. It does not happen by itself. Much thanks to Mgr Bo for the example he sets.

Extreme And Shred classes are my absolute favorite. Charles is a wonderful instructor! So refreshing to find a class with appealing and fast paced dance music to keep you pumped throughout the class!

I used to enjoy this gym and its facilities. An ongoing concern are some of the trainers egos and member’s selfishness to hog machines and space. Equipment all over the floor and the restroom are not attended to as before. Please don’t continue to slip

Very disappointed they keep cutting child center hours. I workout during my break and now I can’t even bring my daughter with me unless I change my work schedule. Closing 12:30 -3:00 is just ridiculous!!

Great Gym and amenities. Nice spa makes it easy for a one stop shop hair nails, massage facial. Also great dining area. Wonderful options. Great outside pool area. Food concession stand outside. Staff is pretty lovely. As far as Pilates. Unfortunately it’s not included in the membership. It’s an additional price, not in expensive. I took a class here. Some teachers are great. Others are not so welcoming. Despite that all the other amenities are great I’ve come in contact with great staff members. I will be keeping my membership.

This gym is like daycare center for teens and kids. Impossible to use the gym facilities for adults that actually workout. Group Classes also restrict use of the swimming pools, basketball court and gym equipment. Swimming pool and hot tub is heavily chlorinated and the lockers have lysol aroma.

Very friendly and professional staff. You can come in and find out information about the gym without the high pressure sales pitch. Ramin welcomed my spouse and myself to the gym. It was a pleasant experience to have his expertise and empathy in helping decide which membership options worked for us.

I have found that the gym has plenty of equipment, class availability, and just a great vibe of like-minded people.

The club is absolutely a country club experience, expect pricing commemorate with the amenities

I love this place. All the classes are great but the yoga instructor JUMIN slammed the door in my moms face for being late⁹ and for $180 a month you'd think they wouldn't employ people like this but other than that it's awesome.

Alpharetta is not as clean or kept up as Johns Creek.They have very few ARORA programs that are for the older crowd that needs Low Impact. Most are Intermediate. They recently cancelled about every class i was doing with some really incredible teachers. Very disappointed.

the facilities are good, but the service is very bad.
I was over charged and when I called in the second time they recognized my number and stop answering.
i tried to call a couple of time and they didn't answer, when I called using my wife's phone and answered immediately. and remove the charge,

The woman in the child care department was very rude. I went as a guest with my friend who has been a member there for at least a year. The woman had dark hair and I believe her name was Nicole or Nikki. I will not be joining the gym just because of my experience with this employee. Snooty and unprofessional.

I like the gym and its basketball courts. I've actually was here at the kids center for about 4 years. After hearing other people of the workers here about how they are not kind, well, every person there knew me and was friends with all of them. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this place anymore because of the lack of useful exercise equipment. There is no bicep curl machines but instead a ton of treadmills. One day I came here to see some construction and thought there would be knew equipment, but no. Instead it was just more decor. Goodluck life time.

Hello, I became a membership on 13 July of this club and sent the cancelation request on 21 July. But the manager James said he didn't get my email of cancelation. And when I came on 25 July he said that I have to wait 30 days. But when I came 28 July, the manager said that my membership is not valid and the money will be returned to the card. But I still didn't get the money. I Wanted the membership till the end of August but they canceled it on 25 July after getting my cancelation. And now I don't have money and no membership

Been coming here for many years ,Gym nice , the summer camps great when summer starts there all nice , and fun. Summers starts of great , towards the end of summer you learn some counselors are actually mean , they are young teenagers who some , not all do not know how to deal with each kid , they have there favorites , the ones that are not there fav , get treated unequal. Not to mention they will write up a thing called a behavior report whether it’s true or not , and for the parents they will not let you read or get a copy if there is a report , yes they want you to sign something that they will not let you read or get a copy of. Lifetime do better for the camp kids, a-lot of parents say the similar stories.

I am updating my review to four stars as the Manager Alex was very kind to me on yesterday and was able to make up immensely with his understanding and kindness and excellent customer service to make my prior experience right. Good Customer service is very important to me and I really appreciate the resolve.

Very Poor Service. It's very hard to sign up for a membership after the service they provide. Go elsewhere! I would have been a new member, but so glad I found out how they treat people ahead of time.

Great place to work out especially for someone like me who normally doesn't work out there was a really great worker but there by the name of Aven home had a lot of experience with the weightlifting in the machines and which I had none for him to be such a young kid he was really good at showing up old person how to use this new technology stuff great pick lifetime

Used to be a member. Came in to see about getting a new one. Told to wait and left standing there for 10 mins. Literally 6 people standing up front cutting up. This is definitely your run of the mill LTF. It’s $20 more per month than other locations close by, but the facility is smaller and doesn’t feel as nice. It’s definitely nicer than say an LA Fitness or Planet Fitness, but I don’t feel the same “exclusivity” that I do at the Woodstock location.

At the age of 42, I just went to the hardest time in my life. I had no confront to even go to the grocery store or get a cup of coffee. The only place I felt comfortable to function was lifetime fitness. Their team made me feel at home. Highly recommended, they are like family
