London Fitness’s multiple years of “Best Personal Trainers in the Perimeter” awards are well deserved. I’ve worked with them for four years. They’ve hugely improved my quality of life.
In working with me, London Fitness tailored workouts to meet me where I was, then continually updated routines to meet my evolving goals and abilities. I started off with chronic pains and was injury prone. The initial year was a gradual buildup of functional strength training to match my comfort level and risk aversion. Then, during the pandemic, they adapted for virtual extremely well. Both my wife and I worked with a London Fitness trainer through the pandemic. We largely credit them with our staying sane and feeling healthy amidst being cooped up in a one-bedroom apartment.
In my 4th year (back in person), I’m impressed at how the routines are still fresh. I would have expected that by this point we would be rinsing and repeating something. Instead, they’re working me through new, much more challenging routines that have brought some of the best quality of life benefits yet.
When I keep up with what London Fitness shows me, my chronic pains go away, I feel at my best emotionally, and I feel sharpest mentally. And even at times when I’m not able to keep up with going to the gym, what they’ve taught me is invaluable. For example, when we had our first baby, I didn’t have time to hit the gym regularly. It used to be the case that going to the gym so little would meant I’d inevitably experience back pains lifting things. But even when I was never going to the gym given my newborn, by mentally going through proper form checklists in my head I learned at London Fitness, I could lift my baby, stroller, etc. and never had any back pains during this period at all.

I have worked with Amir for years before he and Shelly opened their own fitness studio in Dunwoody. Knowing his passion for the field and his strength in community, it was an obvious choice to follow him wherever he goes! While we started off with personal training, we have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and intimacy of the small group training sessions. The studio size and equipment is ideal for anyone - beginner or advanced alike. While you may hear me grunt and moan over all that is asked of me during a workout, I secretly love every minute!

I can’t say enough amazing things about both Shelley and Amir at London fitness. My daughter, who happens to have both Down syndrome and ASD, has been working out with them for some time now and not only does she now enjoy working out but she is so much healthier. They truly have a way of working with people to truly engage them. I can’t thank the London’s enough for working with my 14 year old daughter.

I have been doing HIT classes with Amir twice a week both virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic and now one day virtually and one day at the studio. Amir is a great trainer with unparalleled creativity and attention to details as well as persistent encouragement. With the virtual classes he found a way for every participant to get a great work out regardless of the equipment they had at home. He will definitely help you attain your fitness goals with individual attention to your strengths, weaknesses and if applicable modification needs

I think this is an amazing place. Amir knows how to gear the workout to the needs of each of the individual people. From old to young strong or weak. He is also very good at trying to schedule your session to each person's time schedule. I would never go anywhere else.

Shelly and Amir are such highly skilled trainers. They know precisely what exercises to tailor to our specific needs, and they are keenly aware of just how much they need to push us to achieve maximum results. And, they are always within an arm's reach to ensure our safety when we are trying a new technique. In addition, they both are so personable and make every session a pleasure. In fact, each session is an amazingly fast, rigorous 30 minutes!
All sessions are private and one-on-one, eliminating any distractions and offering undivided attention. The equipment is state-of-the-art and perfectly safe.
Aging is inevitably accompanied by health challenges. Going to London Fitness is the smartest investment Celeste and I have made to help us maintain good health and mobility in our senior years. We recommend London Fitness to anyone who wishes to maintain or improve their quality of life.

I had always been active in sports, but after high school, I had no idea where to go with my fitness. Will introduced me to powerlifting and I absolutely fell in love. He didn't just tell me what to do, but why I was doing each movement. He created flexible programs to carry me through inconsistent life schedules. He shared his knowledge base, so that when I finally moved away, I was able to comfortably continue my training and even help my husband get into lifting as well!
