MAD workouts have quickly become my go-to. The gym is always spotless, and the energy is unmatched—everyone shows up ready to work! Was visiting from out of town and went here with a friend. The instructor, Sarah, was very kind and they do a good job of making sure the workouts are approachable for everyone. I found MADABOLIC 2 1/2 years ago right before I turned 50. My friend Madison recommended MAD to me & I’m so glad she did! Finding effective & efficient ways to physically challenge myself have always been a priority. I am a nurse and researcher who is invested in the MAD formula. I've been going to Madabolic Atlanta since it opened and consistently for the past 2 years. Since I had a knee injury, I needed to find a gym that would build up my strength to prevent injury again and Madabolic has been a favorite workout - right on the Beltline and I love that they accommodate 5:30am classes. Love the trainers and their attention to form and providing a safe yet effective workouts.

I've been a member of MADabolic Atlanta for a few weeks now, and I can't say enough positive things about this gym. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with an atmosphere of motivation and camaraderie that's truly infectious.

I recently moved to Atlanta and was in the search for a new CrossFit type of gym. I had tried numerous other places before popping into MAD and once I did I never looked back. Not only are the workouts great but the coaches and community are what made me decide to join this gym. Even in the larger classes the coaches still take the time to correct and adjust your form if needed. 100001% recommend this slice of heaven gym.

My husband and I recently left our CrossFit gym to find something challenging, yet less hard on the body. MADabolic is exactly that. An intense, yet achievable workout that keeps you guessing using a combination of boxing, cardio, weights, and body weight. There is an incredible science behind their method of interval training. The 1hr class feels like 15min!!!!

The workouts are challenging, but doable and the environment is an encouraging one. Come as you are, and they will work with you through limitations and injuries.

MADabolic will have you performing at your peak in no time. I'm 15 classes in and can attest the trainers are knowledgeable and ensure proper form is attained each exercise/movement.
The sessions are 50 minutes in length and comprise of Movement, Anaerobic, and Durability routines in a group format. If you're looking to switch up your standard gym practice, I highly recommend MADabolic Atlanta directly off the Beltline.
In addition, parking is gated and this location provides validation.

I’ve been going to Madabolic on the beltline practically since it opened! The virtual workouts and playlists helped me not go too crazy during the pandemic and they were great about pausing my membership for health reasons during that time. I grew up an athlete and these classes help me feel that way again, while working on more functional movements to help me as I am no longer a teenage athlete! I love the variety of the programming and how well the trainers explain and help coach through the movements. Plus having some time on the bag each workout is always a plus!

First time trying the class, was 2min late due to not being able to find parking, and their doors were locked. After being ignored for 5min, I spot a sign inside about no entry for being late. Felt this is a bit extreme as they are just standing there going over the workout.

I love the challenge from coaches of lifting heavy, but maintaining good form. MAD is an encouraging environment that helps me push myself. The boxing is my favorite! It’s a well planned workout that has thought behind it for better success, not just random exercises all the time. MAD supports consistency, but reminds you of the necessity of rest days. And on top of the physical part, they educate about eating enough, balancing macros, and finding balance to support a truly healthy lifestyle that supports being strong and athletic. It’s been a staple for me for a few years now!

MADabolic is the perfect workout program for me. Over the years, I’ve done CrossFit, ran full and half-marathons, took up spin classes and TRX. But post pandemic I was looking for a new routine, something that was close to my house, but not my house, offered weight training, but also cardio elements, had people but wasn’t so crowded that it felt unsafe and offered diversity in workouts so not to get bored. MAD checked all those boxes and then some. It’s been six months and I try to workout 4-days a week at MAD. I’m stronger and happier.

MADabolic is hands down the best gym in Atlanta - they prioritize moving well, recovery, and living a healthy lifestyle! Most gyms are all go go go burn x amount of calories in class where at MADabolic they want you to focus on the weight you are moving and give you that 1:1 attention in a class setting on your form. With the three different types of workouts they encourage you to push yourself by going 100% some days and others are a grind of slowing down movements. All in all this is the best gym in Atlanta and is an absolute MUST!

This is my favorite gym in Atlanta for a great workout! MADabolic offers 3 varieties of well-structured group interval training classes that use equipment like kettlebells, medicine balls, ERG machines, punching bags, and slide boards.
Pros: Each class begins with a thorough demo of each exercise and a walkthrough of the interval pattern. Classes incorporate a decent amount of rest between sets. Weights are already set up at each station, organized into five "lanes" by skill level. No surprises or confusion, you'll know exactly what you're doing and what weights to use throughout the class. There's a good variety of class times in the mornings and evenings. The instructors and the owner Rae foster a welcoming and motivating environment, and happy hours and member socials allow for community-building outside of class. MAD franchises across the east coast offer discounts for members visiting outside their home location.
Cons: Classes are intense but on the shorter end with about 10 minutes for warming up and only 30 minutes for the main workout. Membership is on the pricier end and might only be worth it if you're willing to go 3-4x/week, though there are generous trial packages for first-timers. Gym equipment is not available outside of class times.
Bottom line: If you're looking for a longer and more moderate workout, this may not be for you, but if you want an intense strength-training class in under an hour, you'll be impressed with the variety and quality of MADabolic. I highly recommend!

The BEST thing about this MADabolic location is hands down the trainers. The trainers here really become your gym family as the weeks go by. Every single trainer here is well educated, full of energy, motivating, and takes time to make sure you are doing complicated movements correctly or modifying movements that may not be comfortable for each individual. Each of the classes are full of dynamic movements and range from high intensity cardio to heavy strength training days. If like me you try to skip gym days because you don’t want to do a specific exercise, this will be a great fit. You never know what the movements will be before walking into class so you can’t strategically plan your way around some near death suicides. The workouts here are well rounded full body movements and always challenge you. MADabolic is a safe place to grow in your fitness and training goals alongside awesome people who never judge or get competitive. Highly recommend spending all your gym days here.

Frustrated patron doesn’t even describe how I feel about this fitness studio. While I completely understand and respect the desire for timely attendance their policy seems to be a bit out of touch.
While they do offer two classes in the evening one at 5:30, and one at 6:45. The latter of the two does not fit my schedule due to childcare. Finding time in the day to work out right after work can be challenging however I usually can make it to the 5:30 class just in time. Might I mention that I absolutely enjoy the work out but do I not enjoy wasting 45 minutes of drive time and gas to be turned away at 5:31 due to their policy.
Today was the second time in less than seven days that I got turned away from being able to work out. Being that I was just made aware of this policy days ago I made a point to keep an eye on time. After driving 45 minutes and sprinting through the parking lot I arrived at the studio inside at 5:31 and was turned away. No instructions had been given yet nor had class started. As much as I enjoy the work out and love supporting a black woman run fitness studio today was the last time that I will be going to MADabolic. You will definitely get a good workout only if you arrive 10 mins early to make sure that you don’t get locked out.

This is a really fantastic gym! The workouts are fun, high energy, suitable for all levels, and change every day so you never get bored while getting a great full-body workout. The owners and trainers are the best part about this gym! They really seem to care about the clients and it makes coming back (especially in the midst of a REALLY terrifying pandemic) a little easier. Additionally, I love that the workouts have a rythmn to them (MAD) and the progression of weights gives you motivation to get stronger and push yourself, which isn't typical to most gym classes. As well as the focus on strength. As a women, I feel like a lot of gyms are lower weights but IMO strength is just as vital to your health and wellness (it also doesn't mean bulky either!)!

One of the best gyms I've ever gone to! Fantastic location directly on the Beltline with free parking. Rae (the owner and one of the trainers) is one of the nicest and most outgoing people I've met in a long time. Small classes and really well thought out programming makes this a much better experience than just joining a big box gym. The workouts are built so that they are extremely easy to scale from very easy to an expert level so you'll get a great workout no matter what shape that you are in. On a recent weekend trip to Atlanta I attended the 8:30am Saturday class coached by Rae, who is also the owner of this studio. I was blown away, the workout was tough- the coach was passionate- and the people were friendly. The location of the gym is amazing, literally steps to the beltline so you can jump on for a jog before or after class. I was truly amazed by the gym and hope I can come again soon! I did the 10 days for $10 which is a great deal. The workouts are hard but worth it. I wont be back as they stuff people in classes (around 20) with very limited space. There were maybe two other customers wearing masks but no one else was at any time. It also wasnt promoted by the gym. One of the guys working the front desk also didnt make any effort to put on a mask or maintain any distance.

Very friendly and informative staffs! After booking my first class, I received texts from Abby (the owner of this studio). It was nice to have that personal touch and it made me feel special that she reached out to me to see if I had any questions before coming into the studio! I was extremely impressed by the level of customer service and how friendly the Madabolic team is! Abby (the owner) reached out to me directly after adding the gym on Instagram, to inform me about promotions & specials and was even able to add me into a class last minute at no charge to me! After my class, Abby even followed up to ask me how my experience was and to get my feedback!
Amanda (the trainer) was great! She explained each exercise thoroughly with a demonstration of each station we would be going through. I also enjoyed the fact that throughout the workout she checked in on clients to make sure form was correct and to push you through! Music was also upbeat and high energy.Lastly, but most importantly - the facility is VERY clean! I felt safe the entire workout and liked that after each station, we had a minute to rest & to wipe everything down before transitioning to the next station. I would highly recommend this gym to any of my friends/family - and that was just after ONE VISIT.

I love the friendliness of the owners, trainers and everyone who attends the classes. That’s the first thing I noticed and it really makes a difference, especially being new to MADabolic. Each day is always a challenge and you feel soooo accomplished once it’s over. They’ve also kept up with all CoVid-19 protocol — from hand washing immediately entering and leaving the gym, to temperature checks, to even social-distancing and wiping down equipment before rotating to the next station. It’s also fun to finally have a gym that both my boyfriend and I enjoy — friendly competition is always healthy for any relationship ;)

I miss Madabolics so much now that I do not live in Atlanta. This place has a family vibe with great coaches. What I love is that you don’t feel judged walking in the door. Everything can be modified and there is no shame and no competition with one another. They do a great job at keeping the workouts interesting. Madabolics made working out fun & interesting. Madabolic is THE BEST. I can’t give it enough stars. Abby knows everyone by name and creates such a community feel in an otherwise large city. The culture is amazing - they push you to be your best but also in a healthy way, with plenty of rest, recovery, and also off days. Not only do they create amazing workouts that have given me strength gains like no other but they also have nutritional guidance and have been pivotal in helping me reverse diet and find food freedom. This is a gym that really feels like a home. The workouts are insanely effective. I love how much weight I’m able to use there, and I’m always encouraged to do more. The coaches are fun and helpful, and no one is pushy or aggressive when you’re working out. Killer workouts every time, but never more than you can handle! The MAD method lets you push yourself as hard as you can, without feeling like you need to compare yourself too much to others. I did the 10 day for $10 trial, and was excited enough about the results and the potential of this method that I signed up for a full year. I'm two months in so far and am still going strong, and starting to see great results in terms of tone and definition!

THIS PLACE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!!Before I found MADabolic I was becoming uninterested and bored with fitness and I can say confidently I have tried almost every fitness method and gym in Atlanta but nothing compares to MAD. The programming is genius( tracks that appeal to all levels of fitness beginner to pro athlete), the facility is clean and has the best equipment, the trainers actually CARE and pay attention to form and make the necessary adjustments. Also , the owners are wonderful- they literally know the names of all their members which really makes the community feel like a family. Do yourself and invest in a membership here I promise you won’t regret it .

My girlfriend has worked out at this gym for the past year, and I decided to go to a free class with her about a month ago and really enjoyed it. I wanted to experience more workouts before signing up for a monthly plan and was really impressed by their $10 for 10 days trial offer for new members.
The gym is a large open space and each workout consists of five stations that involve a different exercise. The workouts change daily and each workout involves a different combination of exercises and different interval lengths, intensity and number of cycles.
After a brief warm-up and explanation of the workout, everyone jumps into the same workout with the class members splitting up evenly into different stations and rotating through each station until completing all of the stations in each cycle.
I’ve completed 6 total workouts and the exercises usually involve some combination of dumbbell lifting, rowing, cycling, burpees, suicides, bag punching, etc. the workouts usually last about 35 minutes and are very intense.
Here are my observations:
-Friendly and knowledgeable trainers who will readily point out ways to improve your form
-Relaxed and welcoming vibe
-Workouts are intense and compact and therefore highly efficient. The roughly 400+ calories I burn per roughly 35-minute workout is more in less time than I would get from going to any standard gym
-Workouts comprehensively target multiple muscle groups for a much more effective workout than just running or lifting weights
-The facility has lockable lockers for storage and clean bathrooms with showers
-Easy to sign up for classes via an intuitive app
-Plenty of class offerings and can sign up for classes the day of
-Validated parking onsite
While the unlimited monthly membership of just under $200/month with a 3-month commitment is expensive, I highly recommend this gym if you’re looking for a way to constantly challenge and confuse your body with excellent HIIT workouts. I should note that there is an even mix of guys and girls across multiple age ranges, and they are serious about their fitness without being overbearing or pretentious (I’m looking at you CrossFit bro). You won’t hear people screaming or see people taking selfies while flexing after their workout. However, you will find plenty of nice, helpful people and may even make a friend or two.

This gym changed my life. Abby and all the trainers are very upbeat and helpful correcting your form. Mostly bodyweight and cardio and has 5 levels of difficulty so you can choose how hard you want to go. Members are of all shapes and sizes and are all very friendly. Wish I could take this gym to my new home. Y'all will be missed.

Love this workout. Always starts on time. Workouts are unique. I haven’t been bored at all. Facility is very clean and classes are small enough that instructors have an opportunity to focus on each participant.
I’ve enjoyed all instructors. So far all but one are female. Classes are 2/3 women and 1/3 men on average. Very modifiable. Everyone does the workout. No stragglers or folks walking around on phones. Everyone cleans equipment when the workout is over.
Very clean and fully stocked bathrooms with individual showers. Could use a small seat. Now the only place to sit and dry your feet or put on shoes is the :-(

Has everything you could want in a gym.
First and foremost, the workouts do their job. You will feel the burn and see the results if you put in the work. And they work for all types of people from the guy who let himself go for too long and is trying to get back into shape, to the slim girl who just wants to tone up, to the hulking 220 lb beast of a guy who can seemingly bench press a car. Unless you are specifically body building, these workouts have you covered.
The environment and people are very welcoming and inviting while also being motivating. The instructors are really good at finding each individuals appetite for motivation and critique. And I have yet to meet someone who either attends or works there who I wouldn't invite over to hang out with.
It is a bit on the pricy side, but it is absolutely a premium product and experience and well worth it.

I’ve been exposed to a few dozen gyms using ClassPass both in Seattle and in Atlanta. MADabolic stands out by a long shot. I fell in love after my first work out here.
The instructors pay attention to your form. They’ll motivate you, but not push you to reckless extremes.
The MAD rotational program makes sense. If you stick with it, you’ll get it all - power, agility, stamina, grit.
We never “over do” reps of eccentric leg exercises. While the workouts have a specific theme in mind, there’s always a good mix of types of exercises (never squats followed by jumps followed by more squats, etc).
Each workout is unique and well thought out.
I used be cut. I used to have good cardio. But now, now I’m finally fit.
Gone are the days or random injuries from imbalanced muscle groups :)
All in all, the workouts and atmosphere here are simply delectable. I always leave physically drained, but full of joyous energy.

MADabolic is an awesome gym! The location is perfect as it is right off the beltline so it's extremely accessible. They also validate parking for two hours which makes parking a breeze! And, let's be honest, in Atlanta this is the key to all of our hearts! The workouts are always high energy and pretty great at accommodating all fitness levels given the variety of weight and intensity provided. So, if you are just coming back to catch up on that new year's resolution or just looking to switch things up a bit, it's great either way! The staff is amazing from the management to the coaches. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and really take the time to focus in on technique throughout every exercise you perform which, as a physical therapist, is a huge plus in my book and extremely beneficial for injury prevention. The facility is brand new so the equipment and facilities are top notch. Overall, I think this is an amazing gym with a very welcoming environment to people on the entire fitness spectrum but then will also kick your butt with each class! I definitely recommend it.
Bonus, given the 2 hour validation and Guac Y Margs opening next door, you get the best of both worlds and can get in an amazing workout then sit back and sip on a delicious margarita because... you earned it!

MADabolic is the real deal! Wanna talk about intensity? Wanna talk about sweat? These workouts ARE intense, and you WILL sweat! (maybe even during the warm-up, geesh!) So far I've worked with two of the trainers, two strong women who are TOUGH and knowledgeable about the workouts they are giving you, and they highly stress the correct form, which I appriciate. I've taken many group classes before, but here I don't feel lost in the crowd. Everyone is so pleasant, you'll want to keep coming back!!
