Our daughter has been attending Master J. Kim's TKD School since age 5 and now, 7+ years later, it has been an incredible journey. She’s gained confidence, made lifelong friends, and always feels welcomed. The Master(s) and staff go above and beyond, fostering leadership skills, respect, social and community activities or events. She very rarely doesn’t want to attend, and the school also offers a great class schedules. A highly reputable Taekwondo school that we couldn’t recommend more! Master Kim knows every student and family member by name. His staff is also extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He has taught my son Self control and learning taekwondo has given him the confidence to take on challenges. If you’re looking for a place to build confidence, character and learn Taekwondo, then this is the place! Master Kim and the other instructors are AMAZING at what they do. Our 6 year old daughter has been going for a while now and it has turned into a healthy obsession of hers, and easily her favorite thing to do. With the help of Master Kim and his team she has improved in so many ways in a matter of months. There is a dedicated team of assistants that help with classes, many of whom are young ladies who have advanced to the level of instructor’s assistannt. The classes are always high energy and super positive, which helps young students learn to be more confident, respectful and follow instructions. The open scheduling makes it super easy to bring our daughter 2-3 times per week when it’s most convenient for us, and the 30 minute Little Tiger’s classes are the perfect length of time to keep the younger students engaged from start to finish. If you’re considering a martial arts activity for your child or for yourself, then MJK’s Taekwondo is an excellent place to start. We can’t say enough good things about this place!

Master J. Kims Taekwondo Education is a wonderful place to progress through training. My daughter started here when she was in 1st grade and has continued all the way through her 2nd Degree (Dan) black belt. Master Kim and his staff are caring, compassionate, and very knowledgable. We just had my son's 5th birthday party here earlier today and the whole experience was just great! Every time we've been here in the past, the staff has been super friendly and today was no different. The guy who led the party - I believe his name is Hyun Hwa Jang (that's what it says on his belt) - is absolutely great with the kids. He and the rest of the staff were incredible with the 15 kids that attended. They were very engaging, friendly, and really good at getting all the kids to listen and participate. My younger son, who's party it was, has never had a Taekwondo lesson before. His brother went to a few, but he was always too timid to get out there and participate. That wasn't the case today. The staff did an excellent job of engaging him and getting him excited for the party. After the party, we signed up both of our kids for regular classes, and 3-4 other kids also signed up for classes. I know everyone had a great time today and I can't say thank you enough to everyone at Master Kim's Taekwondo. You guys are the best!

Fantastic teaching for all levels. My son is a beginner. There are always three instructors in his class. They are very encouraging and helpful. The participants are moving most of the class; no sitting around. The instructors place importance on fundamentals and correct position. My son has fun, is progressing, and is learning to be a good sparing partner. Very pleased!
