Mayo is hands down the best of the best. When I joined the gym, my one request was to match me with someone who will challenge me and help me meet my fitness goals. Mayo did just that! Each workout session was well thought out and tailored specifically to me. Mayo is a wealth of knowledge and would help me understand why I’m doing certain exercises. In addition to working out, we also worked on nutrition habits which is a huge plus. In my opinion, he creates a workout plan in a holistic way— considering your health, your goals, any injuries, your nutrition and all other habits! Mayo really knows how to tailor your workouts and create programs to your skill level that not only considered my prior injuries but also pushed me in the right ways to excel, rebuild stability, and strength. Choosing Mayo to be my personal trainer was the best decision I ever made. I had been going to the gym for over a year doing the group sessions and working out on my own. However it wasn’t until I joined Mayo’s program that I saw actual results. My original goals were pretty basic; get healthy, don’t die in a 5k, lift some weights. Trained with Mayo for two years now, and has been an enjoyable experience. When we first met, I shared my goals of losing weight and getting a foundation for good health. He met me where I was to build a plan to grow a workout routine that kept me engaged during my sessions with him and when I worked out on my own. I met with him at least once weekly, where he would focus on specific muscle groups or a full-body activation routine.
What I appreciate most about working with Mayo is his keeping me accountable and taking the time to review and reflect on how I have improved to keep me motivated. I could see the results and was able to gain 10% muscle and lose 10% of my fat. Mayo’s guidance focuses on how I work out (routine & form) and how I treat my body (diet and sleep) by providing additional resources.

While in school, I'd taken on some unhealthy habits (eating, drinking, etc). Upon graduation, my job required I relocate to Atlanta, where I came across Myoathletix -- a performance program geared toward not only toward shaping the body, but also toward shaping the mindset too. My ideal goal was to maintain a healthy (to my standard) shape and initially burn any unwanted weight I put on due to my aforementioned, unhealthy habits.
I started training with Myoathletix in February 2022 where I started out at 160 lbs. at 13% body fat. Although I have participated in athletics my entire life, the weight I added over the years did not allow me to feel "at my best". Since I've started training with this program, as of June 10, 2022 I have managed to weigh in at 140 lbs. at 10% body fat -- and I'd just like to say that none of this would be possible without Mayo! He is very knowledgeable in his field as well as very patient with his clients. I explained my desired fitness goals to Mayo, and he was able to design an entire fitness and meal plan which has allowed me to see GREAT progress. In my few months of training with this program, I am continuously pushed and motivated to give it my all. I am very excited to see more progress in my time with the program. If you think you know your body then wait until you meet Mayo. I have been an athlete up to the college level and thought I had a pretty advance understanding of my physical limits and abilities but I was quickly shown that I didn’t know as much as I thought! Mayo is capable of learning just a few quick things about you during your training to then incorporate proper regiments to fit you to achieve your best results. I would say everyone has a busy lifestyle and sometimes it’s “hard to make time for the gym”, however Mayo has it down to a science. Not only am I able to train in person when I get off work, but if I have a very busy schedule on a particular day, Mayo has an at home work out app, that allows me to still receive the same great 1 on 1 results as if I was at the gym. He really brings the convenience of achieving your fitness goals better than any trainer I’ve worked with before!
