I've been working out for a few months now and everytime I go to Newman, the staff provide a very friendly and helpful environment. Rae, especially, is very kind and informative! There's a wide variety of both free weight and cable machines, an aerobics room, and a family room. Those who enjoy sports might find themselves in the gym playing basketball or in a racket/pickleball room. The gym also provides equipment like weight lifting belts, resistance bands, etc. and so on. They also offer classes such as yoga and zumba. Even those who frequent Newman are easy-going as well. I've never felt unwelcomed and pursuing a healthier lifestyle, working out, has become way less intimidating through Newman!

Racquetball courts are always sooo hot and stuffy. Need to turn on air conditioning. When asked if staff could turn on AC in courts, they said they didn't have any control over that. Well, who does?

Still no A/C in the racquetball courts. Way too hot in them. Was there again last night, and still no air conditioning. After playing for an hour, floors get damp and so do the walls, kind of dangerous. Would come more often to play, but it's too hot in them. Like a sauna. Doesn't seem like a priority.

Will the A/C ever work again in the Racquetball Courts? Would come more often to play, but the courts are miserably hot and stuffy and floors and walls become wet, making it dangerous to play in.

Good place but way too busy. Some machines are messed up and if you plan on sharing equipment during sets good luck. People here are very selfish and think they have a birth given right to hog equipment

Has a good variety of cardio and weight lifting equipment. A good sized pool, sauna and showers. I hear they have a parent room where you can workout with kids but I haven’t seen it. Good sized place- my happy place.

Nice gym close to the IHG hotel, the good thing about this hotel it opens at 5am so you can get in and out before everyone gets up. They have a cardio room, free weights area, a machine weight area, basketball court, and àn area for group excercise. Additionally the ladies at the front desk are awesome and very approachable, they greet you with a warm smile to get your day on the right track.

Good gym, lots of different rooms, plenty of availability. Pool doesn't have afternoon or evening hours, but there's plenty of lanes and people are often accommodating if you're trying to swim laps.

Really friendly staff but the facility has horrible hours, closing at 4pm on a Saturday is not cool. The one day people have free time off work and you’re closing even before business hours. The house make the gym at many times unusable (literally). Go to the other on post gyms, but half of those are closed too.

For the short time I was Demobing from Ft. Stewart it was a useful facility, that has every piece of equipment you could need. The Pool was huge & clean, locker was to. The Only thing tht bothered me was tht the Pool is only available from 0600-1300. As a person tht was demobing with a hurt bac tht was still Healing, I had a difficult time getting over there & that was the only P.T I could get in without hurting myself. PLEASE get the staff issue Squared away! Also ppl can't play racketball/basketball..?!?

This gym its a great facility they're only missing Wifi, other than that have a 25mts pool, shower rooms are open (like old school) which its been a while since the last time I saw showers like that... lockers are small, but they get job done. Machines are pretty well taken care, and the staff are friendly. Busy hours you already know (PT. Lunch and after 4:30).
