I come here mostly for the fitness classes, which have been very good. OneLife offers a larger variety than I’ve seen at other gyms. The Bodypump class has been my favorite and is always a great workout!

Curtis is an outstanding man! Truly a people’s person. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and it’s all due to Curtis’ energy, character & attention to detail. I will most definitely be back and will be recommending this gym to others.

Well folks. At first I thought this gym was amazing. It has plenty of perks and the people are so very nice... or so I thought. Most are nice but I signed up for personal training sessions that are expensive but I needed a little guidance. At the start I made sure I explained I can only afford one month and this one month still hurt the finances. I was assured by the trainer that they would never hold me to the agreement I signed if I didn't want the sessions anymore. She played on my grief. My father passed away a few months back and she was really good to keep me talking so I didn't have time to read what I was signing. On my last session, she asked when are we scheduling next week. I reminded her that I only could afford the one month and that was my last session. Did it not dawn on her that maybe I didn't read what I signed or remind me to cancel? No she didn't. She invited me to hike with her if my husband and I were ever up her way. She was so very sweet until I explained I couldn't afford anymore training. Then it was just coldness. Before this, my husband and I overlooked all the machines constantly broken or the nasty film in the hot tub. But my eyes are open. Just beware. If your not gullible like me and take people at their word, you should be fine here

Be very careful here folks: they use old-skool techniques to trick you into signing personal training contracts. My wife made it abundantly clear we could only afford one month of PT services (we couldn't, but felt it was worthwhile anyway) when the syrupy-sweet lady talked her into doing so after the 'free' assessment. And reiterated that several times. After what was supposed to be her last session she got a text about her next upcoming one. When she texted her trainer back she was coldly informed she had signed a 3 month contract and she was legally bound to complete it.

We're now leaving Onelife after only 6 weeks with them. This is a pathetic way to run a business, particularly a community-focused one such as this. Onelife, you should be ashamed to engage in deceptive and downright fraudulent practices such as this.

Do not join if you want to run or walk on the treadmills! For months the treadmills upstairs have been out of order, it was 3 and now 4 of 7 are broken and not being repaired. This has been a minimum of 4 months and their excuses are 1) We can't get parts, 2) Have your ever had to deal with corporate, 3) They are on order but it will be weeks before delivery. (6+) The attitude of the manager is terrible and for this I pay a monthly membership fee? Find a different place for fitness but it is evident either they don't have the money to fix the 'mills, do not care to provide the services they promise and most certainly do not care about their members. This is horrific and l wonder if they don't have the money to fix the treadmills after months of out of order signs. I am training for a race and this is very unacceptable and others have complained to but to no avail. Hint: LifeTime Fitness is a mile away.
FOLLOW UP to OneLife reply: I don't believe you for one minute, all your responses are generic. Furthermore, with machines out between 2-6 months it is evident that you don't have a service contract nor care to promptly replace a "very broken" machine when your members, such as myself, are paying monthly dues to use this equipment. No, you have shown your stripes and the multiple times I asked a so called manager about the issue I was met with "have you ever worked with corporate before" (quite the insult and I own my own company BTW), "they are being replaced this week" which was not true and most recently "we have them on order, it will be 6 to 8 weeks. Given the length of time you have had half your upper level machines out of order I question your financial stability. My advise to others to STAY away stands.

Group classes are good, but the quality of instructors is sometimes inconsistent. Friendly staff. The management isn’t as considerate of customers as needed. The ladies locker room was closed with limited notification for an entire month, forcing women throughout the gym to share three toilets with the rest of the gym participants. Open cubbies were the only place women could store their personal items.

I had a great experience at this studio as a first time visitor. As someone that used to own and operate a fitness studios in LA, I know what to look for in terms of quality care, and Customer experience. I had an excellent class with Kendra a great consultation with Adam O.

Facility- extremely well organized tons of amenities, open floor plan, free weights, traditional machines, recovery, options, and daycare, along with an in body that spits out all of your measurements and your basic BMI.

Instructors (Kendra/Kami)- fantastic, motivating, skilled, certified, great with individual and group cues. They also make a point to get to know everybody in the class specifically first timers if you have an injury or needing an adjustment, tell them before because they’re great at modifications.

Adam O - fantastic client experience rep he doesn’t care about selling you a membership (the sale will happen with him organically bc he’s good at what he does). He cares about making sure that you understand your unique fitness journey what you need to focus on where you’re starting when it comes to muscle mass and body fat and how you should adjust your food intake based off of macros specific for your Inbody results. He explains everything makes recommendations based off of your goals, very personable and easy to communicate with and highly knowledgeable.

This is a gym that in my opinion is a steal considering everything that you get in terms of support group fitness class options, weight loss, fat loss management and amenities. This could easily be something that you fall in love with and establish a community at. This is not a bougie overly aggressive gym with muscle people walking around that don’t want to talk to you. This is very much approachable. This gym is for every human being and for everybody type and fitness level. I would give it six stars if I could.

I have been loving this gym lately! The first time I came in Madison helped me set up my free day pass i found online and seemed so professional for her age! I would also like to shout out the boy in the kids club I walked in there thinking it was the front desk and he was so nice and showed me to the front desk. Overall this gym makes me very comfortable!

First time working out here in a long time. Bad experience to where I thought I would lose my vision during the laser heat treatment in recovery. I used my hands to cover my eye balls.i thought something is not right here so i backed away from the lasers. The front desk staff member said they were out of special glasses and you should have been given glasses and put the blame back on me said u need to buy some. Then he said u can’t buy them there specially glasses.
This is after I worked out in the pool. Which the tiles were gross looking, no lights in the pool. Then the men’s locker shower one was down.
I ended up with upper and lower respiratory infection that put me in bed now for a week. Not blaming the gym for me being sick.

Ladies be careful when going to This gym. My wife was threatened by a large male Wednesday 06/25/2025 The gym refused to throw the aggressive man out, or even call the police with the issue. My wife says she no longer feels safe there, and has quit going to this gym.

Horrible service. My husband and I are moving to Woodstock next month and we started looking into gyms. A lovely lady took care of us and said we could tour the gym in the meantime, “the manager” came back to explain about memberships.

When we finished the tour, “the manager” was there; it was a kid, a teenager. He didn’t want to explain anything and he keep saying everything was online. I replied with several questions, and he kept saying everything was online. He was not nice at all.

We received totally different treatment from the other gyms. This kid shouldn’t be a manager if you want to sell memberships, is my suggestion.

I love the Woodstock location, and I've been to several OneLife's within a 50 mile radius. Woodstock is consistently friendly, consistently has enough equipment, has a better climate controlled locker and shower room (there'sactually changing rooms with a mirror, also - thank you thank you!), has a large saline pool, steam room AND a dry sauna. They also have lay-down AND stand-up tanning beds and there is rarely a wait for anything.
The vibe of most gym goers is to work out - not stand around chatting while hogging equipment and benches like many other locations and other gym franchises that I've been a member of.
So - OneLife Woodstock is hands down #1 for anyone interested in nurturing their fitness from the novice to the cross fitter, powerlifter, bodybuilder (me), or a mellow gym goer like my teenage daughter who loves the pool, the hot tub, and the sauna.

After putting it off for a year, I finally decided to toy it this facility and can only say that I’m pissed off at myself for not coming sooner.

I came in and was greeted by Nick who gave me a great tour and customer service and was not pushy at all and instead more concerned that the facility and membership was something I was comfortable with and would help me meet my goals - which it is.

Even at its busiest times, there is still plenty of room at this location to workout whatever you want. It’s always the clean. The members are courteous and respectful. THERE IS A STEAM ROOM AND TOWEL SERVICE.

Best deal for a gym in all of Atlanta. Don’t be an idiot like me and stay at Crunch or LA Fitness. For $20 more a month you can workout at what feels like a 5 star facility.

I have been a member of Onelife fitness since moving to Woodstock several years ago. This kudo for Yesi William is long overdue. My initial exercise after babysitting our grandchildren every day was to use the walking track upstairs. One evening, I was drawn to the music and fun I witnessed outside the exercise room during Yesi's Zumba class. I wasn't sure if I was a good fit, but from the very first class, I was hooked. As her classes are Monday and Friday, I often have to adjust Friday's social or babysitting schedule to attend and it's worth it!
I find the employees at the concierge desk welcoming and the overall atmosphere is so pleasant.

Crowded, but there's a good reason why it's so crowded. You got A LOT of options here. Pool, machines that hit all the muscle groups, free weights, sleds, tires, calisthenics. I just wish I would feel more comfortable being able to do olympic overhead lifts because if I screw up I might end up hitting anyone around me. It's a little scary sometimes.

I wanted to share my appreciation for the staff at One Life Fitness for their kindness and professionalism. When I came in to add my child to my membership, I was surprised to learn that the cost was higher than I had expected. This was due to a misunderstanding on my part. It was disappointing because this gym is the thing I do for myself, and I was worried I’d have to leave to find another option.

Although they weren’t able to adjust the price, Clay Foster and two newer team members (I lost the paper with their names) went out of their way to offer a temporary solution, giving me some time to figure things out. Their patience and willingness to help really stood out, and I truly appreciated the support.

Thank you to Clay and the rest of the team for their kindness and professionalism—it made all the difference!

I signed up for this gym online. I needed to do exercise but I am overweight and I have a back and hips that need to be rehabbed, I also am recovering from a broken foot. So I say I LITERALLY dove in blind on this gym. It hit all the boxes I needed 1 close to my house-Check 2. Had a pool- Check. It wasn't until I came in for my initial visit I knew I was in the right place. I know anyone who struggles with their weight can have a really hard time walking into the gym and seeing so many different bodies, but most of them slimmer than your own. I was prepared to have that feeling, BUT it never came. I have been going 3 times a week for about a month now, and I am learning so much. BUT best of all I am ALWAYS greeted so kindly and anytime I have a question like, what supplies do I need for a particular class, what is RED THERAPY, what is towel service, and all kinds of others questions I met with a smile and an answer. I do have to also say the Locker rooms are SPOTLESS. I swim when I go so I usually have to take a shower to get the chlorine off. I have NEVER been disappointed with the cleanliness of the locker rooms.
If I could give the ONELIFE in Woodstock a 6 out of 5 I would.

The steam room has been closed for I think over a year at this point. They have continually lied to my face when I ask about it. They have said they are just fixing the last electrical issues and it should be opened soon . It was opened for one week about 4 months (if that) then closed again bc it wasn’t working properly. I wouldn’t be irritated if they addressed the issue in a timely manner and were upfront about it, however there’s a sign on the door saying they are working diligently to fix it, however I’ve NEVER seen anyone working on it and it’s extremely frustrating. I chose this specific location and gym over other ones because I knew there was a steam room. If I had known it would’ve been closed for over a year I wouldn’t have wasted my money at this gym. They also charge all kinds of bs feees and make it impossible to look at your membership or switch it through your account.

I had a great experience using the gym, but canceling my membership has been an absolute nightmare. After contracting a highly contagious skin disease, I’m now relocating for work to a city without this gym. Despite providing proof of my condition, member services insisted on charging me for an extra month. To add insult to injury, they demanded a note from my dermatologist stating that I’m physically unable to use the gym—despite the clear risk of spreading the virus to other members.

My doctor confirmed that while the virus isn’t life-threatening, it’s extremely contagious. Yet, Onelife Fitness seems more interested in squeezing another month’s payment out of me than in the health and safety of its members. They’d rather have me infect the entire gym than do the right thing and cancel my membership without charging me extra.

This isn’t just disappointing—it’s reckless and unethical. I expected better from a company I’ve been loyal to for almost two years.

Edit: once again they want to point me to policy instead of taking care of the fact that I was mislead. They do not care about the people they serve, they’re money hungry and inconsiderate.

Upon signing up for a membership I was never made aware that this would be a 12 month contract. I understood that I’d be getting a membership that included classes around $45/month & 3 discounted training sessions to get started at $100. The process was guided by a team member in store who pushed me through the process, without taking time to summarize what was on each page & offer for me to accept or decline the DETAILS—leaving me to feel that most of what was in my face was pointless fine print. Now that I’m being told I signed for a contract I feel taken advantage of. This is shady practice, I would NOT have signed up knowing it was a termed contract because I KNOW how inconsistent of a person I am.

BECAUSE of this “contract”, they will not cancel without me paying a cancellation fee, which makes this feel even more like I’m being scammed. I’m pissed. I’ve emailed member services about 5 times now explaining my discontent and they continue to tell me of the policy. I’ve closed the card on file and I will continue to figure out which human can give me a yes to this request. (Side note, I haven’t used the facility in about 5 months and they have continued to collect payment anyways due to my negligence, you’d think they’d be more gracious at that point.) “Member Services” has been Pat, Jessica & Harold responding individually to my emails vs a single person taking care of my needs. Their customer service sucks.

I see on here many people complaining about this cancellation fee, as well as their disappointment in the establishment to address their concerns. I’ll be making sure any person I’d shared this gym with is made aware of their practices.

Update - I guess they can't afford to hire people to clean the place. It never was this dirty in my 8 years with it was Golds.

I have been workout out a few times a week at Onelife Fitness for a few months now, and have enjoyed it.

I have a bad habit of Gym hopping. I will workout for a few months, cancel my membership, and renew next year. That being said, I have really enjoyed my time at Onelife. The staff were really helpful when I signed up, and offered a really awesome first meeting to help guide the beginning of my workout experience.

From there, the Gym offers a TON of classes and a really fantastic variety of workout equipment and space. If you don't enjoy being around people as much, there are spaces with plenty of gear more tucked away. Otherwise, I have never really had to wait in line to do anything which is always nice. I can get in, knock out a solid hour, and get back home.

If you are looking for a Gym to attend, I have been happy with Onelife!

Couldn’t be more disappointed! Been a member of Golds gym for over 8 years on a grandfather plan and since Onelife took over I got overcharged several times. Cancelled my daughter membership of my plan and they were still charging me the same amount. They overcharged my card for the anual fee and I never received a refund. I attempted to fix the situation 3 times over email with no success. Big scam! Please do yourself a favor a go find another gym.

Do not get a membership here! I was a member at The Golds Gym before they were bought out by OneLife and i wish I would have cancelled my membership then. Had to cancel my membership since I moved out of state and they continued to charge my account for personal training. It's been 2 months and they still have not refunded me the charges claiming "I used the training session." I'm not even in the state. I've called many times to correct this issue and have been completely ignored my managers or told they would call me back. They never do. When I do call they give me no answer or no reassurance that they will correct the issue.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." I can't remember when I 1st heard that quote from A Tale of Two Cities, but It pops into my mind often while working out at Onelife Fitness in Woodstock. The worst of it is really just making it to the gym, with a little pushing past my limits thrown in. The best of times comes from the superior service & support I receive from the staff at Onelife.

We live in a time financially where some of us may struggle with keeping their gym memberships. Well, I've got a serious incentive to hold on to mine. Don't tell everyone but Superman has taken a day job. Yep, he works at Onelife & he's my personal trainer. He's ditched the glasses and now uses the name Matthew Medina but I know it's him.

Matt has supported me on a fitness journey that began with pre-diabetes and kidney failure. It progressed to dialysis and an 11 year wait for a transplant. Today I can proudly say thanks Matt's   professional, positive & patient training style, I am becoming a living example of a miracle.

In just a short time I have gone from having little to no strength and flexibility to measurable, even dramatic improvements! I'm actually lifting more, visibly gaining muscle and moving with a lot more stability thanks to him. It's insane to me how much stronger I've become with just a few months of consistency. When you work with Matt you get this overwhelming feeling that he just wants you to win. That's everything.

I just wanted to take some time to share what a great, transformative experience I'm having. If you are in need of an amazing gym & trainer run, walk (or in my case limp) into Onelife Fitness & ask for Supe...I mean Matt Medina.

Ive been going to this gym for years since before it was Onelife and it was Golds gym. The amount of people since the switch is quite insane. There has been multiple times I haven’t been able to find a parking spot. It’s so busy to the point of having to wait in line for equipment. Also to add, the cleanliness of the gym has plummeted. The cleanliness was NEVER a problem when it was Golds.

The worst facility I ever belonged to. It’s filthy. Never seen anybody cleaning it anywhere. Not enough floor mats, no smaller size inflatable balls. The pool is either closed or very cold and front desk is lying about pool temperature. Water level in jacuzzi is so low that it makes it unusable. The handicapped women toilet has been out of order for weeks. Women steam room has been out of order for months. Unsafe conditions around pool/spa area.

My beef is , the STEAM ROOM and JACUZZI are CONSTANTLY BROKEN !!!!! At least once a month there is a problem ! I find this LAME ! It reflects on the management and owner. At least send an email to members, and have a notification at the front desk when this occurs. Wake up and get it right ! Kareem Rea

Tell your friends and family to not bother with putting down a referral. I've had two friends put my name in as a referral- once I should have received a tshirt the other time was two months free membership fee. I talked to the front desk about this situation- the associate was very nice and apologized- he was asking a manager who was standing right there. The manager wouldn't speak to me directly and refused to honor their lame referral promotion. Left a bad impression.

Filthy, cleaning crew is non existent. Pool water was 78 today. Aqua class was stopped. Handicap restroom women's locker room has been out of order for months as has the sauna and steam room. Mold on walls, showers around pool and in locker room. Mold on pool drains. Heating/cooling system blows cold air into pool. Air conditioner is on during winter. The noise of the air conditioner/heater sends alerts to smart watches noise level is high. There are many areas where OSHA would close the gym due to safety hazards. Hoses hooked to the wall where the shower is around the pool. Green mold on the concrete around pool which gets very slippery. They overflow the pool continusely which is what causes the standing water. Raised drains that one can trip over. Broken corner tiles that need to be replaced. Holes in the sheetrock above the sauna where someone backed up with a ladder. These are just a few "things" that I saw today. No one seems to take responsibility or care about any of these issues as they have been reported many times. That's all folks

As someone whose worked in performance gyms I would say this place has a pretty good offering of standard equipment. They could use more free weight benches and maybe offer some more unique machines. With that being said I’ve found the staff to be very friendly, the child care center is a winner, and they seem to update things regularly. Also side note, who are all these people getting mad it’s busy? I mean, are you upset that other people like the gym too 😂

Poor man's onelife. Renovation has been weak as they lack so much equipment. Kinda seem like they ran otta money or folks above wanted more profit. I still go because of proximity but don't expect anything like Holly Springs or crabapple or any other onelife

Beware of big red faced bald white men that like to intimidate others around the 3pm hour. If you don’t like intimidation stares or aggressive attitudes come at a different time or go to a different location. I’ve been to Perimeter & Douglasville locations & never had this issue. The gym is not their personal gym & I don’t pay to be intimidated.

Caught in-between wanting to be a real gym and still dishing out memberships to anyone with a pulse. Beautiful new equipment with goofy teenagers playing hop scotch over it in-between the 3 sets of machines they’ve taken ownership of. Raise prices to reflect the investments in the facility and send the rest back to LA Fitness

Ok gym but is consistently WAY too crowded. I’ve been to crowded gyms before and I know how it is but this is ridiculous. If you go past 5pm good luck finding an open machine or bench.

My last three visits I’ve had to either end my workout early or not even try after not being able to find a parking space.

It was nice having a gym right across the street but it’s obvious that OneLife cares more about profit than their members having a comfortable experience.

The one thing I would say I enjoyed was the cycle class and instructors. They are honestly fantastic. I’ll miss going to classes after we move.

TLDR: cancelling or dealing with the billing department is an awful experience and the “30 day notice” is misleading. See below:

The following is more for who Onelife uses as their billing department (a third party named ABC Fitness out of Arkansas), which takes any stars away from Onelife.

We’re moving so we let them know we needed to cancel our membership. They require 30 day notice, but that’s not actually what it is. They still require you pay for the next month regardless of the “30 day notice”. For ours, on a June 6th notification, we have to also pay the entire month of July!

And, for some reason, the annual fee would be charged in July for us. I didn’t cancel to avoid it or anything, nor did I even know it was coming up. So, they’re are unethically charging an extra 25 days worth of money (despite us physically not being able to go due to the moving) and some annual fee despite not going to be there for the upcoming year!

I’m shocked and saddened. When onelife bought the gym they promised all this new stuff, but they haven’t delivered. I’ve not minded much since I knew we were moving. Now, dealing with the cancellation process and these extra charges, I’m even more disappointed. So, fair warning to all.
