I’ve found my place! I’ve always been athletic (running, soccer, yoga), but never really tried strength training/weight lifting, until I was introduced to Oxfit, by my husband. It’s the best decision that I finally made for myself! After 4 months, I feel stronger, happier, and part of a real community of athletes, led by our amazing Coach Caitlin (aka Beefy)! Caitlin is just the best…always motivating, keeps you laughing, and the very best teacher! I am grateful to have found the Oxfit community in EAV and really enjoy the 8am “moms class” for a great start to my day!

OxFit is by far one of my fave gym experiences to date. All the coaches are on point, but Caitlin stands apart...and yes, I'm probably biased because I love her 8am class. You can't go wrong joining OxFit, and when people ask me what am I doing as they see a change in my physique, I think Caitlin and Oxfit is doing something right by me. Don't think about it, just do it, join Oxfit.

I’ve been going to OxFit for almost three years now, and it has truly become part of my life. I’m in the 8:00 a.m. class 3–5 mornings a week with Caitlin and all my buddies, and I get exactly what I need every time. I can push myself and be competitive, but also throttle back when something doesn’t feel right for my body.
I love starting my day here, and I really love the community this gym creates. Caitlin is the best. Her crazy fun style makes every workout something to look forward to. We work hard, but we laugh a lot too.
I even have my teens involved in programs here because you can never start too early. I’ve been to several gyms over the years, and this one is by far my favorite.

Having been a part of an outdoor boot camp fitness community for over 10 years, last year I was looking for a program that was inspiring, motivational and pushed me to lift heavier things. What I found at Oxfit EAV via a trusted, equally motivating friend, was a group of hilarious, badass and unfiltered folks led by head badass, Caitlin. Since I have lingering old injuries, Caitlin is the first to show me how to modify and encourages me that I am still reaping the benefits. She will also call me on my BS when she KNOWS I can do something. Get there and see for yourself!

Coach Ant and Ox Fit helped me loose 16 lbs in 8 weeks!
For the baseline workout on Day 1 I really struggled, but by day 60 it felt like a warmup. Less pain, better nutrition habits, gained muscle while losing fat. But honestly, the community is what keeps me coming back - every coach and member has incredible energy that pushed me further each workout then I would on my own.
The group atmosphere is unlike anywhere else I’ve trained. Most motivational and encouraging environment I’ve experienced!

I've been a member for over 6 months and have really benefited from the coaching and structure here. I usually go to Caitlin or Kenny's classes and they are awesome motivators! I have always been an active person but incorporating the weight training I get at OxFit has been a game changer. There's also a lot of functional movement incorporated into the workouts and tons of focus on a proper warm up and correct technique which is exactly what I needed to feel like I can safely learn the movements. Everything is scaled so you can start at beginner levels and work up! All your workouts are tracked and its motivating to see the progress and work towards some of the fun fitness competitions and events that OxFit sponsors. Too many good things to say but if you are looking for a gym where you can get stronger with a fun group of people, this is it!

I go to the EAV location and workout with Coach Caitlin. This is the most consistent I’ve ever worked out in my life. The workouts are wholistic. The coaching is specific. And the Vibes are 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. Instead of dreading to go to the gym like I’ve done all my life, I look forward to going bc it’s like a party in the morning! We dance, we lift heavy weights, we do lots and lots of cardio. And I feel the best I’ve ever felt. I absolutely love this gym ❤️.

I picked Oxfit for my first time in a gym setting. I am not at all athletic and I am always intimidated by people that are more fit and stronger than me. This gym environment is not at all intimidating it’s actually really fun. I’ve trained with Caitlin and Kenny mostly at this location and they are super fun and welcoming and are always pushing me to be my best and strongest self. I never felt any judgement from anyone. I love that everyone encourages each other and cheers each other on. I enjoy workout here with some really cool folks. 10/10 recommend :)

OxFit EAV is my favorite gym I’ve ever gone to! I did a trial class in August and immediately joined after it was over. Everyone who goes to this gym is friendly, welcoming, funny and supportive from day one. Joining Oxford has been fantastic for me and my fitness. There is a wide variety of workouts from day-to-day to keep things challenging and not repetitive feeling. This is my first workout commitment since having 2 kids and it is a life changing place. Caitlin is the absolute best. OxFit in East Atlanta is where the magic happens! Dropped in for a workout, and wow – the vibes were on point! The coaches were like fitness DJs, hyping everyone up and making sure we crushed it. It’s repetitive but I need to speak out as this last month has shown me a lot. Oxfit, Ant, Lauren, all the coaches and all of the athletes are the best.
Having come from playing division one football to not exercising for 6 years, I was very nervous to be around others and doing things again.
I won’t lie, the workouts are tough and they will not feel great the first few weeks - but what does feel great is the uplifting support of the coaches and other athletes who are with you. I honestly feel like I’ve found community and people who are genuinely kind, thoughtful and inspiring to be around. There’s no where else I’d rather be at 6AM doing fitness relay races. Can’t wait to continue my journey!

I have been a member of OxFit for about a year and a half and have had a great experience. The programming is intentional and really well built out. It is suitable for all levels, but also allows you to scale up from whatever level you enter at.

I went out to OxFit for a Spartan Deka event, not really knowing what to expect with it being my first time there. Man was I pleasantly surprised. What a GREAT facility with a very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities and equipment were all top -notch and everything was really nice and very clean and organized! OxFit has been my gym home for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. My fitness regimen before consisted of cardio only, so I wanted to add weight training. I was a little intimidated at first but everyone is so welcoming! I've never thought of myself as "strong" but I am learning my potential and am excited about my results.
The class-structure is motivating for my workout style. If I had a regular gym membership, I would probably be using machines and be bored out of my mind. At OxFit I am part of a group of diverse people who are all doing the same hard workouts. Everyone does the same workout each day (that often consists of 2-3 parts), and that workout is offered at multiple times throughout the day to fit a variety of schedules. The workouts include a combination of cross-training, HIIT, functional fitness, weightlifting, and cardio.
The coaches who lead the classes take the time to go over each movement in detail before the workout, which is super important to me because I want to avoid injury. They are encouraging, help you with your form, and also suggest modifications for any component that causes discomfort or pain. I highly recommend OxFit for anyone who wants to get stronger and healthier!

I love this place! The coaching is superb. I always feel safe under their watchful eyes. The programming is phenomenal and you can tell they put a lot of thought and intention into planning the workouts. The community is great. People greet you by name in class and cheer you on as you knock out that final set of reps. The facility itself is modern and well organized with nice lighting and decor in the front waiting area along with all the equipment you need (barbells, KBs, DBs, rings, racks, etc). Lastly, the location in EAV is super convenient.

I came to OxFit after never stepping into a gym for years. As intense as the gym gets it is incredibly friendly and welcome to anyone at any level.
OxFit has structured workouts every day lead by a coach. It's not the type of gym where you join to use the machines on your own.

This is the absolute best gym in the Atlanta area! I have been to many gyms from your basic planet fitness to strength training gyms and I have yet to find such a great atmosphere like OxFit EAV. It’s not just a gym, and you aren’t just another member. You become family. Everyone supports each other without judgement and every single person I’ve met is there to be the fittest they can be. The coaches are your biggest fans and I have yet to do the same workout twice. I started OXFIT in February 2023 and love it. After coming out of a year of health issues, I am now so much stronger and physically fit. At 48, I can even do CHIN UPS! Oxfit strives to build community within the facility, and outside the facility with community involvement. There is no pressure, you do what you can do with guidance from some of the best dedicated trainers. Highly recommend.

My husband and I started our OxFit journey at the grant park location and once EAV opened, became founding members! In 2020 during the height of the pandemic we invested in our own garage gym and though we don’t do classes anymore, I felt compelled to write a review because Oxfit changed our lives and lifestyle and we’ve carried forward and built upon the skills and habits we learned there! The community is really genuine, family-friendly, and they make fitness fun! ALL gains are celebrated – even if all you do is show up on a day you really don’t want to, you’ll receive so much support and encouragement like you’re walking on the field for the World Cup finals 😂. It’s such a great, supportive environment, whether you choose short or long term programming, it will be one of the best investments you can make in yourself! 💙

I absolutely love this place. I checked it out (skeptically) during buddy week and I found them to be inviting, supportive, and I was impressed that they helped me modify the workouts around previous injuries so that I could get stronger without the risk of hurting myself.
A month later and I'm still hooked. The gym members are very diverse, the workouts are about as fun as working out can be, and I'm already feeling stronger.

For me, OXFIT is more than just a gym. I am approaching my 2 year anniversary with this community and like so many others I can easily hands down say that ever since I found my strength to walk through those doors, my life has been changed for the better. To be able to show up each day and be surrounded by people who are all choosing to work on becoming the best version of themselves and have fun while doing is truly a gift. The consistency of culture and quality is carried through every aspect of this gym. From programming and coaching all the way to social events like Grub Club, Beers and Barbells or an occasional Pickleball Tournament. HIIT and CrossFit had a kid but a very likeable kid! This place rocks. They have great trainers that push you but not more than you can handle. Everyone is super supportive and honestly one of the best parts of my day. Not to mention the lbs I’m rapidly shedding and muscle developments. I’ve been coming here probably close to 9 months now , and at this point I couldn’t imagine a life with out it. I tested out a few CrossFit style gyms before coming here and none had the same infectious atmosphere. All of the members and coaches are incredibly friendly, and everyone just wants to help each other get stronger. I have met so many great friends. The workouts are also no joke, but in a good way. They are always a good challenge (there are a few different levels to choose from for each so don’t worry). Everyday I leave I feel super accomplished and supported. I can’t recommend it enough!

This gym ABSOLUTELY changed my life. It is a place for anyone and everyone, no matter what level of fitness you are at. Every single day class is different and challenging in the best possible way. Things to know:
1. The owners and staff are one of a kind, knowledgeable, safe, and always push you to be better.
2. They encourage you to get to know and love the people around you- which makes you excited to be there. It feels like a gym and an extended family.
3. The people that go here are all walks of life and fitness. There is a level to every movement (believe me i started at the bottom).
4. You CAN do anything here if you show up and do the work.
If it is about weight loss for you, consistency is key. My hubby has lost over 16lbs and almost 10 for me in 3 months. 100,000% recommend the monthly membership.

I live close by and had been searching for a class based gym to join. I’ve done Orange Theory and kickboxing (amongst many others), but wanted to incorporate heavy weights. Having no background in any type of weight training (much less a CrossFit style workout), I put off trying Oxfit for a couple years. I finally bit the bullet after I felt comfortable with group classes again (post vaccine) and tried Oxfit. 10 months later, I couldn’t be happier! Every class we go through the movement with no weight and the coaches focus on form. This helped me not feel out of place when I was new and didn’t understand the moves. Since then, I’ve made multiple close friends that I’ve met at the gym who all live walking distance from me. It’s made Atlanta truly feel like home. Most days don’t feel like a workout, just going to PE class with friends!

My husband and I joined the gym six months ago, shortly after moving to Atlanta. After trying a few gyms in Atlanta, it became clear that OxFit was would be our new gym after just one class. I became a member of Oxfit EAV 2 days before everything shut down due to Covid-19. OxFit didn't miss a beat - they had at home workouts and classes over Zoom ready to go. Even though we couldn't physically be in class, we were still together. OxFit has consistently gone above and beyond to adhere to CDC recommendations as gyms began to reopen. The coaching is top notch and the programming is awesome. I also worked on my nutrition with OxFit. Since combining the nutrition coaching and the workouts, I am now in better shape than I was in my 20's. The coaches plan dinners, hikes, bike rides and other activities away from the gym so you can get to know the coaches and other members. Even though I recently moved out of state, I'm still a member and continue with the Home Warriors, working out with them online as much as I can. If you're looking for a gym, I highly recommend OxFit - it's not just a gym, it is so much more!

OxFit is radically different than any other gym or group of coaches I have ever worked with. They’re super motivating without being drill sergeants and they really care about each OxFit athlete. They take the time to learn what our individual goals are and then they work with us to get there. When they say it’s “not just a gym” they mean it. I’ve been part of functional fitness gyms in the past, but nothing compares to the experience of OxFit. OxFit is the best gym I have ever been a part of! The community here is unlike anything I have ever experienced. You feel welcomed and challenged during the workout no matter what level you are at. The location is perfect too! It is an easy drive from Ormewood Park and super easy to find - just look for the OX! :)
The workouts = swole!
The community = Fit Fam!
The staff = hardworking and intentional!
The facility = clean and well kept!

This place is awesome and a great addition to EAV. The community vibe is fun and friendly but not over the top. The workouts are always different and the coaches are great about making them manageable for anyone. I've definitely gotten stronger since joining and I feel great. No hesitation recommending this gym to anyone looking for a good workout.

I don't like going to the gym, but for many small reasons , I enjoy going to OxFit. As others have described, it has a great community led by people who find the right balance between pushing you for performance and encouraging you to just show up. I've never seen anyone come in and not feel genuinely welcome. All the new people signing up since it opened is definitely a sign that they are doing something right.

I have been going to Oxfit at the Grant Park location for little over a year now (started in Oct 2018) and have loved it ever since. Now with the opening of the EAV location, I'm able to hop on the bike and make it to the 5 pm class in a short 5 minutes which has really opened up some time in my day.
Oxfit is an environment where everyone really makes you feel included while also supporting you in your workout goals. I used to program my own workouts that I would perform by myself and was content in doing that for a while. I started to feel stagnant in my goals and progress until I joined Oxfit. With an environment such as this where everyone is giving their all during the workout, it's almost impossible to not be your best and that really pushed me places that I didn't think I could reach. Ever since playing sports in high school and college, I haven't been able to find that kind of environment until now and I don't think I will be able to go back.

I'm so happy I found OxFit!! I recently switched from their Grant Park location to the new spot in EAV (closer to our home) and I've never been happier!! I've tried a few other CF gyms in the area and never found the perfect fit. Not until I walked through the doors of Oxfit and I was welcomed with open arms. The genuine community aspect the owners Ant & Lauren have created is truly remarkable. You get much more than a workout when you join the OxFit family; you get a support system that carries over to all areas of your life. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend you give it a shot!

This place is awesome! Just finished my training sessions and am getting ready for my first class! Lauren (the owner) gave me a great introduction, answered all my questions, and led my 5 training sessions. She is a rockstar! I've found gym-culture and workout classes intimidating before, but Lauren broke every move down into easy steps, gave me lots of practice, and encouraged me every step of the way. Seriously, I'd guess that she gives 10 affirmations (at least) for every piece of critical feedback. She took something I found intimidating and made it feel doable, even fun. I'm amazed when I go over the moves and lifts I've learned and realize, "Hey, I can do that now!" Lauren and Ant know how to create community, and everyone at the classes has been warm and welcoming. I'm so glad there's a location now in East Atlanta!

I am so happy OxFit has opened in East Atlanta! OxFit is such a warm and welcoming environment and I love going there to get my daily workouts. I’ve been an OxFit member for over 3 years and have worked out in all phases of life— pregnancy and postpartum included! The owners, Ant and Lauren, have created a great community and everyone is so supportive. Also the facility itself is amazing— clean and all new equipment! This place is for everyone.

My wife and I have been members of OxFit Grant Park for about 2 years, and had been eagerly awaiting the opening of their space in EAV. We started at the Grant Park location while living in Kirkwood, and our willingness to battle Memorial Dr for an hour of brutal exercise is a testament to the quality of the training and facilities. We've lived in EAV for 6 months now, and the opening of the new gym has been a game-changer.
Ant and Lauren are incredibly sweet and competent, and the equipment is clean and new. I have never been one for group work-outs, but the style of work-out they offer proved to me how inadequate my solo training regimen was. I am more stronger, more energetic, and healthier now than when I started two years ago. I've also met more nice people than I ever did at a standard 24-hour gym. It's been a magnificent change. Couldn't recommend more.

My wife and I have been attending Ant and Lauren's other gym, OxFit Grant Street, since April of 2017, and now that they have a location in EAV, we are happy to have another option as we live smack dab in the middle in Ormewood Park. It's easy to join in at the new EAV location because they do a great job of creating a community and culture that is caring, inclusive, and supportive independent of the location. It's great to know that we can step into this new space and show up every day to meet folks new and old to the community who are driven to be better in myriad ways big and small. Additionally, they have created a community in the OxWork space next door that is full of hard-working, motivated entrepreneurs, and the overlap between the communities isn't accidental. A community of wellness is about more than success in the gym or at work alone, after all. There are plenty of ways to get fit, but for us, joining this community was about wellness and connectedness in a broader sense. I have no regrets and many more aspirations than before, so I know it's working. If you're reading this and unsure, come by and see for yourself.
