My son HAD trichotillomania due to anxiety. After enrollment into the karate program of only a month, he has stopped creating bald spots in his hair. He has the confidence to send the neighborhood kids home when he has had enough of them, where before he would come crying to me. This program is stellar. While struggling at home sometimes, he has earned a belt stripe, creating encouragement at just the right times when he really needed it. I highly recommend this establishment to create confidence,self esteem and reduce anxiety for your child.
I also happen to know the owners personally, as we used to Pokemon together when my son was an infant. So it was a no brainer to bring him here when the time came. We are currently finishing up our second month here at Patriot Karate and look forward to earning the next belt at the next graduation.

Being able to look up YouTube videos from their website that their sensay does so that we can practice at home with proper techniques and form is just so convenient.
Also, you won't find a better monthly or trial price that also includes the ghee/uniform. Trust me, I have looked at every place around, and this is totally affordable and worth every dime.
Edit: After 9 full months, Phoenix is graduating to red ghee on Nov 1st, is participating in competition training with sparring & weapons & has been such a success that he is even pictured on the website. We have begun to settle into the Patriot Karate Family & the feeling of community is simply amazing. His hair grew back before school ended last year. His confidence and drive are unmistakable. Absolutely a game changer. So much so that as soon as his little sister is out of preschool, she will be enrolled and I will likely join them...

My son has been attending Patriot's camps for over 3 years now, and he has loved every second of it. He has attended their summer camps, winter camps, digital day camps, spring break camps, and all other camp days in between. The staff always has so much planned for them to do, and there is a ton of space for kids to be kids. They play games, watch movies, have nerf wars, and even craft projects. . The kids are provided snacks throughout the day, and get to enjoy pizza on Fridays. The staff at Patriot are incredible, and are so good with all the kids. I know when I send my kid to these folks that he loves being there, is well taken care of, and is in a VERY safe place. He comes home exhausted, sweaty, and happy. Is it affordable? My son has been going here for almost 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. The staff is friendly and they make you feel like family. We recently moved to Loganville and were looking for a nearby karate school for our kids (ages 9 and 5). Our goal has always been for them to learn karate to build discipline and confidence. We enrolled them in a trial program, and they’ve been hooked ever since! They never want to miss a class and absolutely love the after-school program and camps. Almost 3 years ago, I was looking for an after-school program for my then 8 year old son when I found Patriot Karate. I called with some questions, and spoke to Crystal, the owner. We talked for about a half hour, and I brought my son to a class for a trial run. We immediately signed him up for 3 days per week in the after-school program. Less than a month later, he was BEGGING us to go all 5 days because he was having so much fun, and loved it so much. Fast-forward 3 years, and I can honestly say that this studio has been an unbelievable gift to my kid. He has learned responsibility, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and much, much more. He has made life-long friends, become much more confident, grown in his karate skills, and recently developed a passion for competing. The instructors and staff have become instrumental in turning my little boy into a young man, and I am forever grateful. The team of instructors they have are young, knowledgeable, passionate, and come from a vast background in many disciplines, which translates to a great experience for anyone who decides to come for class. Each instructor has their strengths, their own style, and different ways they reach their students. Mr. Lowry, Mr. Weston, Miss. Ryleigh, Mr. Billie, and Mr. T have a unique blend of expertise in American karate, Kenpo, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, and even Boxing.

Patriot Karate has been a great experience for our son. The instructors and the staff are professional and caring, I recommend them to anyone who wants quality martial arts training in a family friendly environment.

Update: After the change in leadership this place went downhill fast. They told my son for months that he would be able to test for his black belt and a few days before the test told him that he was too young. It was handled very unprofessionally and in no way did they care for our son. As positive as it was for him at first, it turned out to be a painful lesson when adults he trusted lied to him and let him down. I can’t recommend them anymore.

We paid full price for him to only go Wednesday evening at the daycare and felt it was fair

We were told we would get a uniform and everything he needed. Nope.

We never received one the entire year. Repeatedly asked and got nothing
Prices went up the next year and still not a uniform. Nothing to show his belt level for his new program

I will say mr brown is great with the kids but I feel extremely ripped off for the amount of money I spent and my son has nothing to show for it. We’ve since put him in a program that he was given a uniform and his belt and has already advanced and has proof of advancement. The teacher is on top of everything and I never once feel taken.

We’d love our some money back for the two years my son used this program but I’m sure we won’t.

Mr. Brown is truly dedicated to the teaching of the "whole" child. He cares about their life outside the studio and really desires to see future generations succeed. He works tirelessly and knows the delicate balance of being their teacher and having fun with them. The after-hours fun activities give staff time to interact with kids on a whole new level giving both sides the opportunity to get to know one another.
The staff is working hard to make necessary changes, always seeking to improve the classes and studio.

My oldest daughter started attending Patriot Karate in March 2015. Since attending I have watched my once shy little girl come out of her shell and flourish. Going to Patriot Karate for her classes is the highlight of her week.
Mr.Brown is so amazing with his students. He teaches them with an amazing bounty of patience, kindness, and adoration. You can tell he truly loves what he is doing as he instills the love of karate in his students. The other instructors are all absolutely wonderful. Mr. O and Ms. Kimberly are valuable leaders with the same amazing passion for karate as Mr.Brown.
They are doing more than teaching karate though; they are helping us parents in raising our children with respect, compassion, and drive. For example, if a child brings in their report cards from school with good marks they praise them for all of their work.
Walking in the door you are always greeted with a very warm welcome. You almost feel like you are being welcomed home in that everyone is happy to see you there. Mr.Brown especially makes everyone feel so special.

I have taken martial arts from Patriot Karate for almost 12 years. I started my journey to black belt at only 10 years old, now I am 21 years old and martial arts has continued to help me through every stage in life.

At 10 years old I was homeschooled and Karate helped with my social skills, confidence, physical fitness, and gave me an activity that I was passionate about.

Throughout my teenage years Karate continued to give me honorable roll models that I wanted to live up to. Mr. Brown through his training became a mentor for me as I moved up to black belt and beyond. Karate gave me the discipline to stay out of trouble and allow me to reach the goals I set for myself.
