Kind owners, great classes. 5 stars all the way around….just closed on Sunday’s which is a major bummer as I would love to use it for my Sunday Yoga days. Support this local gym!

I usually visit Atlanta once or twice a year and the last two times I've been I've made sure to drop in for a class with Nic and his crew. The box has everything you could ask for, plenty of space, but most importantly the folks here are super friendly and welcoming. I love the programming too!

This gym fits my needs perfectly. I don’t do CrossFit but use the open gym primarily during the times there aren’t any classes- but you are still able to use the side gym even during classes. It has all of the equipment I would use at any other gym and it’s all in good condition. Nick and Mitch are also super helpful.

I don't understand what is going on with this gym.

Last December I came into town for 2 weeks of training and really liked the atmosphere, coaches, and community. I told the owners that even though I was only going to be doing about 7 classes over the two weeks, I would do the unlimited plan for the month of December because I liked this gym so much.

Fast forward two weeks and I tell everyone goodbye and I can't wait until I come back for training.

The next three months I'm charged the monthly fee and finally caught it early March. I called them multiple times a day, leaving multiple messages about it and no one ever answered the phone or returned my calls.

Eventually I opened a dispute with my CC company and they couldn't get ahold of Phys.Ed either. Even though the three charges were refunded from a successful dispute, I was still charged again in April. My only option now is to close my CC account and open a new one to prevent a never ending cycle of having to dispute unauthorized charges.

Updating review: I was too quick to post a positive review based on first impressions, but as I had done a few more classes, I started to see the negative especially over a year later when my shoulder is still messed-up and limits how much i can bench press. I just want folks to know of the risk.

The owners are great but not each coach is great. Also, this is CrossFit which is known to be high-risk for injuries. If one of the coaches arbitrarily makes your small group work 50% harder than the rest of the class because he refuses to work in the rotation (because we are short a person- we had two pairs while everyone else had three pairs of folks-this means we got half as much rest as the entire class), then that is even more high-risk and just wrong. If the coach can’t keep up with the workout, why would he suggest we do the workout?

Also, I agree with another reviewer who mentioned there is not enough focus on form. I injured my shoulder here over a year ago and it hasn’t been the same ever since.

I’d rather drive further (and I do a few times per week) for strength classes that are not CrossFit and have a lot less risk of injury.

Lovely people and a good facility but not enough attention to form, one could easily get injured

Charging 60 a month for ancient run down gym equipment with nothing properly maintained or nothing else to offer in the deal no sauna or anything...this should easily be 5 dollar a day to work out or 10/15 a month not going to be scammed when they have nicer gyms for less with a 10x better deal and quality. Also every body doesn't want to do cross fit I can do that myself. One last thing u can sign up for less than 6 dollars a month down the street at the college park recreation center they have a way better vibe for super less and the
Equipment is nice and maintained! This place is for losers!!!

This place is amazing. I rent the space to teach Capoeira classes, and they are fully aligned with the community we are building. They have been very understanding of our situation as a small business, and have been very accommodating.

We use the top space to teach classes and it's a perfect space to practice Capoeira. It's always clean, the AC is perfect even during hot days, there's good headspace even when we want to train jumps, and it's has great natural lighting for lovely sunset classes.

I tried this gym today and had to review and recommend it. What I liked was the ease of parking, easy location to get to, the screen to remind me of what I was doing, and the length of the class. What I loved. I LOVED that everyone made me feel comfortable and supportive. There were some athletic people in the class but they never made me uncomfortable or out of place. If you’re looking for a place where you can learn, with a GREAT WORKOUT, supportive, and doesn’t make you feel awkward bc you still need to learn this is your place! I highly suggest it to anyone looking to begin or increase the challenge in their workout with a cool crowd and a great instructor (Chad). Thank you and I will see you again!

I like it because it's literally in my neighborhood, no mirrors, the music is good and the people are real. A year ago, I could barely squat with an empty barbell and today I did more than I've ever done, which isn't much because I'm no athlete. But since I started coming here, in conjuction with regularly seeing my chiropractor and massage therapist, I have significantly less body pain and have lots more energy.

Friendly, welcoming, and fantastic workout. I had a 10 hour layover in Atlanta and figured I should venture beyond the airport. This gym offered a great oasis for a few hours. Chill vibe and super welcoming to a new guy - super challenging partner workout that has left me exhausted and ready to sleep on my flight. Gym has showers and changing rooms - nice to get cleaned up after. If I am ever stuck in Atlanta again, I will return.

I must say that before I actually had the nerves to join CrossFit I had some doubts about me having the ability to actually do this and get motivated; don't get me wrong its not easy. The more you put in the better results it will be and I'm looking forward to seeing the changes with my body. CrossFit College Park is an AWESOME place to be if you are serious about getting your health and body in tact. Everyone is focused on working out which is the opposite of going to a "gym". The CrossFit staff encourages and motivates you that you can do this and finish the daily workout plan. VERY pleasant individuals... I'm so motivated now to get my body in shape and it helps that the individuals overseeing the training are great people. I have been in classes with Nic and Mitch (Coaches) --- AWESOME individuals and motivators. I look forward to the results and sticking with this new journey. THANK YOU

I have to say this a great gym. The trainer is great they really pay attention to their customers and trainees and I show everybody the level of work-out that best fits them so anybody of any size can do CrossFit.. to me the price of this gym was cheaper than most I've visited you do have to pay a $200 training fee but it's well worth it to learn all the skills so you don't get injuries... is anybody think about coming here it's well worth the money....

Very cool gym. You will love this gym if you are into crossfit and live in the local airport area. Also this gym is a good option if you commute to Atlanta from South of the city along 85. It's right off the Virginia Ave. exit. A con would be the price. It's $140/month and before you can become a member you have to take 10 personal training classes @ $250-$350. So if you were to knock out those 10 classes in two weeks and then join it would be $390-$490 IN ONE MONTH. I wouldn't call that a great start.
