As a CrossFitter, I am so thankful to have Marie as an addition to my fitness routine. Marie knows the body, and she is excellent at cueing. I recommend many of my patients to her because I know that what she’s doing is effective and highly beneficial for my patients.

I dropped in to Maria’s pilates reformer classes having been a couch potato throughout covid. She’s amazing. I’ve gone to many pilates classes in NY and Australia and hands down Maria’s reformer classes are the best. She doesn’t miss anything in correcting your form. AND the classes are fun. I’ve learned more about living in St. Simon’s Island by attending Maria’s group classes than I have anywhere else. In 4 weeks of 3 x week classes I feel so much stronger. Highly recommend.

The moment I walked into the studio I knew I was in the right place to maintain my philosophy " be your own hero, stay healthy". I gained new insights into my pilates practice and the instructor was attentive, kind and knowledgeable. Very friendly atmosphere with genuine intent to promote well being of clients.

Pilates loft and the owner Marie Artman cured my back pain!! Marie is a master Pilates expert having taught and developed her own methods for over 30 years! Added bonus, There is a super cute poodle that hangs around the studio named Joseph. If your in Town head to Pilates loft and you will def get a great work out and some good laughs. Love this place.

Not going back. Very disrespectful instructor. Repeatedly called me a "dumb ass" but knew it was my first time. Seemed to mean it more as a joke but no interest in returning to that type of workout environment. Too many awesome, positive, supportive places to go on the island.
