If you’re worried about putting in the work and not getting results trust me you don’t have to worry about that here- you WILL get results! I also worked with David and his nutrition plan- I’ve lost 18lbs in 4 months! I haven’t felt this amazing in years- and the best part? I haven’t felt like I’m on a “diet” or can’t go out- it’s a new food lifestyle and it’s truly been so easy to make healthier decisions. I go to class on average 4 days a week and I’m always that good sore where you KNOW you are going to see results. Do whatever David tells you regarding nutrition and work with the trainers-it’s amazing- hands down an awesome membership!

04/02/25 - Darrin is a great trainer, really works with me to make sure I have good technique and drives me at a pace that is challenging, but not at the expense of losing form or risking injury. I have seen big improvements over the last 4 months which motivates me to want to continue. Great environment at Pinnacle Decatur, David runs a great gym that is friendly with atmosphere of support from other trainers and clients.

I’m coming up on 60 days as a personal training client at Pinnacle Fitness Center, and I’m thrilled with my experience thus far! David, Radiance, Darren, Andrea, and the entire Pinnacle team are friendly, professional, and invested in the success of their clients. Radiance is an excellent trainer who is always prepared with the rotation of exercises laid out. She checks my form, makes sure that I’m engaging the right muscles, and makes small adjustments so that I’m getting the most out of my workouts, which are tailored to my goals. I’m pleased to say that I’m already seeing small changes! Make no mistake: this is NOT the “cute” workout! You are on the move from start to finish. You will be challenged! I’m also really glad that I did the nutrition plan. I’ve learned so much about macronutrients, and changing what/how I eat in support of my fitness goals. I’m already down a few pounds, and just renewed for another 12 sessions. It feels good here. If you’re serious about getting stronger, fitter, and/or healthier, I highly recommend Pinnacle!

After experiencing pinnacle for myself I can see the reason for all of the successful client transformations.
Pinnacle fitness is a one stop shop for everything fitness related. They offer personalized training, group fitness classes, and stretch therapy.
The trainers at pinnacle are highly educated in the field of exercise science and are able to create a customized training program that is specific to the individual clients needs. This is something that I have not seen anywhere else.

I highly recommend working with the excellent folks at Pinnacle. I joined after watching my wife’s 10-week transformative experience.
David created nutrition plans for both of us and provided us with tools and texts that made sense and changed how we understand our nutrition needs.
During my wife’s first 10 weeks I loosely followed her nutrition guidance and I lost ten pounds. That was when I decided I would also ask for a nutrition plan as well as work with a trainer there.
I’ve just completed my own 10-week nutrition and exercise plan and I’ve lost an additional 20 pounds (a total of 30 pounds in six months). None of my clothes fit properly anymore.
I have been working with Austin over these last 10 weeks and he has helped me understand how to properly execute the exercises as well as provide me with guidance on how to enhance my physical performance.
This last point is really important for me. I’ve been training in the martial arts for a few years and I came to Pinnacle with the goal of gaining strength and losing weight so that I could enhance my martial arts training.
Austin talks with me regularly about my martial arts training and has optimized our sessions together to improve my training elsewhere.
For example, as I prepared for a test to the next level, Austin crafted a week of sessions that culminated in a potentiation workout. That potentiation session had me feeling more limber and I passed my test and have advanced in my training.
I’ve brought friends and other family members to train with me and it’s a great feeling among us. Sure, it’s hard work, and the folks there have created a positive and impactful environment.

Have been dealing with back pain for awhile and my physical therapist suggested strength training. i started at Pinnacle a few months ago and have already made more progress on healing than I did all of last year! I love what Pinnacle Fitness Center is doing. I purchased a personal training package along with the Pinnacle Nutritional System. The personal trainers are amazing! My trainers were Zadie and Tye. When life changed for me, Tye worked out with me virtually, and I never lost steam. This was the first time in a lonnnggg time that I saw and experienced results in both weight and inches lost.
And did I mention they have an app? The app creates a community vibe where the owner and members share results as well as tips and recipes. The customized Nutritional System is phenomenal! David was able to create a nutritional system for a picky eater like me who was also transitioning to a plant-based diet. I was able to do a much better job of tracking my meals which I know was instrumental in my results.

After deciding it was finally time to get back in shape, I've been going to Pinnacle for a couple months now, and have been loving it. I knew I realistically wasn't going to keep a consistent routine trying to force myself to go back to a "self-serve" gym, so Pinnacle's guided options of classes and training was perfect. My personal trainer, Brian Allen, is fantastic - he pushes me while keeping things fun and new each time we meet. He's also very conscious of a prior back injury I had, and makes sure to keep a close eye on my form. The owner, David, and the rest of the training staff are all super friendly - it feels like a big family there. They do a good job of keeping the facility clean, and there's plenty of training equipment to supplement body weight exercises. Communication is prompt and they have a nice scheduling system. Rates there are very reasonable. But most importantly, I'm getting the results I signed up for - which for me was to build strength and gain muscle. As someone who previously managed gyms for several years, I've seen the full range of what a fitness experience can offer, and I'm happy to say that Pinnacle truly lives up to its name.

I have had my share of trainers, I have seen results, but after just a few short weeks in I can see why I was referred to try this facility of trainers to get life changing results. I was introduced to a nutrition plan that literally changed my mind- no harsh diets- no numbers that didn't make sense just a lifestyle change. even the workouts are different and more effective. I have to thank David for holding it down as my trainer but honestly I have purposely watched other trainers and see how they follow his lead in pushing you to your limit. I've been going to Pinnacle Fitness for over 9 years now and still love it. I love the trainers and the people that come here. It makes working out easier when you train with others and it feels like a family. The classes and exercises change and I admit some days are harder than others but that's what keeps you motivated. I used this fitness center for a few months when I lived in Atlanta, and I really enjoyed it. The workouts were tough, but David was always extremely encouraging. I've completed group classes and personal training sessions. At my previous gym, I worked out faithfully but had to stop my exercises due to pain. My previous trainer believed "No pain, no gain." I started working with David at the beginning of this year, and I've gone 3-4 times a week for about 4 months now. During that time, I've lost about 15 pounds and gained muscle mass. David is a fantastic trainer and he runs a terrific operation. I strongly recommend him, and Pinnacle, for anyone interested in getting in shape.

I just joined Pinnacle a few months ago and I'm already seeing results! I've worked out at other gyms in the past, but I've been turned off by the way the trainers push you to try and do too much. I love how the trainers at Pinnacle are supportive and encouraging, but not pushy. They understand that we are all building up to a better level of strength and that it takes time. They never push me to do more than I'm comfortable with, and yet they always encourage me to challenge myself. It's an important balance and Pinnacle totally gets it. The trainers and the other members are the greatest -- friendly, fun, supportive and inspirational -- and the classes are challenging, fun, thorough and full of variety. I would recommend Pinnacle highly to anyone looking to get in great shape without being badgered by pushy trainers!

I came to Pinnacle fitness to check out their fitness classes and personal training. I was very impressed with how the classes kicked my butt! The classes they offer are HIIT & Strength classes. I've been going to Pinnacle Fitness for strength and HIIT classes for several months and it's been great! I've already seen the benefits outside of class. David is knowledgeable and always makes sure that the workout is challenging and that we're doing the exercises safely and effectively. Since I've started, I've learned a bunch of new exercises, and I feel more confident in my fitness routine -- not to mention how much stronger I've gotten. I love the variety of equipment we use -- kettlebells, dumbbells, jump ropes, Bosu balls, etc. -- and how we get such a quality workout in a convenient amount of time. Pinnacle FItness has exceeded my expectations as far as gyms are concerned. They offer a comprehensive fitness program (Strength & Conditioning and HIIT Blast) that is well planned out each week to provide members with total body wellness. On top of that, I've received tremendous support from the coaches as well as the other members in my group classes. This community approach has helped me stay accountable, dedicated and disciplined. I feel like I am getting the benefit of personal training in a group class setting. I returned to Pinnacle Fitness Center a couple of months ago after taking some time off. I am so glad to be back. It was great to see some familiar faces and meet some new friends, but the best is that unmistakable feeling that I might just cry if I sneeze because my abs hurt so bad from that core workout. I love that the owner David Nash pushes me just a bit more than I would push myself, but never to the point of injury. He never yells. Never shows if he is disappointed with my effort. Pinnacle has changed my whole perspective on the importance of HIIT and strength training. I started attending as a way to add strength training to my running routine since I was trying desperately to get over a knee injury. I do exercises I would NEVER do on my own. By strengthening my core and my quads I upped my running and did my first 10k in September! David and Alex are very knowledgable, motivating, and upbeat. I will even wake up at 5am so I can make it to the 5:30 class without coffee...and if that's not an endorsement I don't know what else to say!

Alex is an absolute pleasure to work with! She is an amazing trainer and friend. When training with her, there have been plenty of times that I thought, "WTF did I get myself into?" But she's so encouraging and motivating and pushes you to perform at your best and you will see results! She is very good at tailoring your workout to your fitness level and working around any condition or injuries you may have. Her sessions are always different so you'll never get bored and she's very knowledgeable in what she does. After a full ACL rupture and when I'd healed enough to begin working out, I needed to find a personal trainer who could help me get back in shape while still babying my recovering injury. Also, during the 20 weeks of injury to recovery I'd put on weight (due to inactivity and pity eating. lol). From the minute I called David, I knew that I had found a place that would partner with me to achieve my fitness goals. I began Pinnacle's nutrition program and 6 weeks of 60-min, 3x's/week training sessions. I'm 4 weeks into the program, and I've dropped 10 lbs and gained new muscle. Once my personal training ends, I'm excited to join Pinnacle's group fitness classes. For those of you who are undecided about whether to do the nutrition plan - do it! I started working out wth David about 18 months ago - I have always been a regular exerciser but presented to David, skinny and having lost a lot of conditioning and strength after plateauing at my previous workout routine.
David assessed my condition and encouraged changes in my diet -- more protein, better hydration.& to gain a few lbs.
He also guided me to focus on my total body strength and conditioning (I wanted to focus on my arms, shoulders and back).
Over time, I have gained a few, I am much stronger and have far exceeded my prior conditioning and toned appearance. Quite a feat for a coach working with a late 50s woman. I am in the best shape of my life.
The studio is clean, well located and has a great variety of equipment - every workout is different. We meet 2x a week for 45 min sessions, which I complement with running, yoga and barre. My work with David has made all of my other workouts more effective through the knowledge and strength I have gained with David's coaching.
David knows his business - he has the top training certifications, a Bachelors in Phys Ed, many many years' experience in personal and group physical training, as well as competitive body building. Plus he's a veteran, father and husband. He is a super good person and an amazing trainer.

If you want a great workout near Avondale Estates or Decatur, go to Pinnacle Fitness. I've been going to Pinnacle Fitness Center for over two years and it has made such a difference! This is the longest I've stayed with a fitness program since high school (a long time ago). Clothes fit better and I have a lot more energy! The fitness coaching and variety of exercises keep it interesting, fun and motivational. I started with personal training sessions because I was out of shape, then switched to strength training and HIIT classes, however many people start with the classes. David and Fred help everyone get the best workout at their own level and ability. The location near me in Decatur is great too, right next to the Avondale MARTA station. I've tried so many different workout regiments and places around Atlanta (kickboxing, boxing, hot yoga, cross fit, etc) but I've found my fitness community at Pinnacle! With the trainer's help and nutritional advice, I've lost and kept off 30 lbs! Workouts are different every class and even after a year, my heart rate is still up! I burn 500 - 700 calories during a one hour class and about 800 - 900 calories on a Saturday bootcamp class. I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to this place!

Pinnacle Fitness Boot Camp is exactly what you need! I was very over weight but was once a college athlete. David saw that in me and brought it out. I haven't worked this hard will results since college. I am running 5K's and training for a 10K! I owe it to David Nash at Pinnacle Fitness Boot Camp. He really cares and takes the time to get to know each member. It is as if you have a personal trainer but are in a class with friends to motivate you.
