Free weights benches...yes multiple. This location is very clean, spacious, well laid out, has beaucoup new gym equipment, hydromassage chairs and beds, and oh yeah...free weights benches. 💪🏿😁

This is the nicest Planet Fitness I have ever been to.
The staff is super friendly and helpful and the equipment is in excellent shape! I highly recommend it.

I went to the new Eastside Albany location this morning around 5:15 AM and of course it's new so it's going to still be somewhat empty. (no problem for me) . This gym is very spacious , very clean, equipment is very new, some equipment still has plastic on it, but you were still able to use it. Was unsure of how the hip thrust machine was already temporarily out of order... unsure if they haven't completely put it together or if it was actually broken. What I did notice was there were no black mats hanging up so people could do floor exercises or workouts, I actually didn't see any at all). Bathroom was clean; it made me think I was the only person to ever walk in there lol Overall, I do feel like this gym will be great, Albany needed this one because the one on Westover Boulevard does get packed. I'm Curious to see how the gym traffic will be within the next three months. Other than the mats, 4.5 stars
Update as of 11.24.2025 at 5:15am; Came to the gym and nobody was there. Myself and about 5 other cars were in the parking lot waiting; phone was off the hook; and after 30 minutes, some of us left. This is unacceptable.

Visited this new PF for the first time yesterday. My first impression is that it is very well-appointed and laid out. It is about twice as large as their Westover Blvd. location which I had used for several years, and has a wider assortment of equipment. I just might visit this gym more often.
