It's very mid, equipment is lacking, not the cleanest, staff has done as much as they can with the space, so not really their fault, they are good people. It just needs to be 4x the size for the number of people who workout here. I've been to PF in rinky dink nowhere towns with like 20k people that were much larger and nicer, this one is minutes from downtown Atlanta, one of the biggest cities in the country, but you would never have guessed this was a prime location. Planet fitness please invest more in your gyms in Atlanta.

The best maintained planet fitness I’ve been to. The place is old, but taken care of very well. Exceptionally clean. All machines are well maintained and work smoothly. All weights arranged beautifully. It was a joy working out here. Great songs too. Kudos to the staff..

Great gym, clean, plenty of parking but I hate they have Fox News on most of tvs. I get having one but for that to be the national news source on 4 of the tvs and sometimes the only one is extremely tone def given the neighborhood it sits in. So while people are doing cardio that’s what is in the line of site. I asked to change one and they said no.

I like everything except the fact that there is a single bike rack that holds 3 bikes in an area where many take the train or ride bikes due to the proximity to beltline and Marta. I sometimes have to wait 30-45 mins for someone to leave before I can lock my bike and start my workout

I used to go to the location on Wesley Chapel which was the total pitts from Hell, always out of toilet paper for one thing, yea, I know right. The Hill location, the staff is very friendly and the GM which is Damian is amazing in everyway possible. He really cares about his location. The place is always clean and recently, they just made a huge change in the weight setup and now, it is better than before.. I Had a situation with my account spoke with multiple employees and manager and couldn't get it resolved, one last attempt to resolved the situation before i close the account spoke with the manager at the westend location my original gym, He came up with a resolution to resolve the problem and kept a happen member for over 10 years. I like that we now have security to protect our cars. Also that there is plenty of cardio equipment so we now have close captions so we can see and understand what's on the TVs. But need more weight equipment...it's hard to get a bench to do presses or dumbbells.

This location has made a 180! Honestly, the staff is so polite and attentive. The manager is always warm and welcoming. The gym is kept up nicely, clean and equipment is up-to-date. I was recently a member with planet fitness for over 2 years. After achieving my body goals I decided to move on to another level of fitness. Today I went and cancelled my membership. Matthew was an exceptional individual who made the process very easy. It wasn’t difficult at all as most people have claimed. Literally just go to your home gym (the one you originally signed up with) and tell them you would like to cancel. If you have any outstanding fees that’s owe then that’s a problem where individuals must have had an issue unlike me. But overall I love planet fitness and definitely would recommend it to anyone who wants a membership that’s flexible and inexpensive. There also seems to be a large homeless population or maybe a halfway house nearby based on the strange individuals that lurk in the locker room. West End Location, the men’s locker room was a mess, trash everywhere, the urinals, showers area water and tissue all over. I spoke with the manager on duty, he indicated, they were closing in a hour and would clean once they closed. I would not recommend working out here, one could become ill. It’s just that filthy.

I could tell this was going to be a bad experience as soon as I walked in. Gym was dirty and had a bunch of broken equipment. Both Leg extension machines were broken, most machines had loose components. Towels on the floor around equipment. Most of the other gym goers did not clean the equipment after use and also were leaving empty water bottles everywhere. Locker rooms were also very messy, toilets, showers and sinks dirty as well. I will not be returning to this location.

Actually they tore down a grocery store to place this gym here years ago. And I really do miss that grocery store I forget the name of it though. There was actually a sister store in my hometown of Charlotte that I did used to visit there too so when I moved here it was comforting because it's not a large change grocery store. I appreciate having Planet Fitness Westend as an option for workouts since it is not fast from my house. My biggest pet peeve for that location is the parking situation. People park their cars anyway they damned well please, even if their aren't any parking spaces.
