It's my first time with Planet Fitness and I'm impressed. The staff are all friendly, the facility is really clean, there's plenty of machines to get your work out done in a timely manner, and the PF black member benefits are really cool. I tried the red light therapy the other day, don't know if it works yet but the employee that helped show me how to use the machine does it on the regular and she had great skin.

I would like to give a shout out to the new trainer they hired for the Wrightsboro location Mr. Charles Walker. We haven't had a trainer at this location in a while. Mr. Walker is an excellent trainer, and he gives a thorough workout in a 30-minute circut class.

I recently joined and also checked out the new Crunch gym. The only thing Crunch has that PF doesn’t is childcare and a sauna in the bathrooms. It would be nice if PF would consider adding saunas and monitor the circuit area more closely to make sure people aren’t in there hogging machines and not actually doing the circuit. Otherwise I’m happy with the gym and love the atmosphere 😊

Never ever have any issues here. Truly a judgement free zone, everything is always soooo clean, stocked, & kept up with. Very rarely do machines break as the upkeep of the staff is impeccable. They truly all care about maintaining the environment & are genuinely friendly, kind, & courteous. Even management whenever I've had questions, have never seemed frustrated or anything of the sort & are super helpful.

Highly recommend Planet Fitness in Forest Hills (Augusta, GA). The staff are very helpful to new members, taking time to show me around the club and how to use various equipment. I appreciate how clean the club is, especially the Black Card Spa and locker rooms. The equipment is clean and there's plenty of variety from free weights, machines, cardio devices and more. I appreciate being able to see the crowd meter online, so I know what to expect when I arrive. PF makes it easy and enjoyable to work out.

I enjoyed taking both the Zumba and the yoga class as a guest of a member. I was really happy that as a guest I could participate in all of the amenities. I even was allowed to use the massage area. I also felt they had a huge variety of machines with varying levels of technological qualities. My only criticism was that while a few of the employees were great, the vast majority of the people at the front desk were just less interested in being helpful to anyone. They were talking and having a great time but not doing a whole lot to justify so many of them hanging out at the main desk in front. I would definitely get a membership here at this location if I lived in this area.

The staff is really friendly and always doing some form of side work so I feel confident the equipment and facility is being really well cared for. The staff is also really helpful if you have questions and will work to resolve issues with you immediately. The facility itself is always very clean and the layout of the equipment is good. Some gyms you feel like everyone is watching you but this one has sectioned off areas for privacy, which I really appreciate.

Every staff member at this location is wonderful! What has really meant a lot to me at this location is that I was out of the gym for a week or so, and I had a staff member wondering where I had been and wanted to make sure I was okay..That meant a lot to me! Especially traveling and not having the same experience that I receive at this location. They greet you when you come in and tell you to have a great day when you leave! Been a member at this location for almost a year now, I was previously a member at the Windsor Springs location and sadly just during this year it's starting to gradually follow suit with that location, going downhill. I'm not sure if it's their high turnover rate in staff, or if they've recently appointed a new manager who doesn't care so the staff gives that same attitude but I no longer see staff cleaning like they used to, most times there are no paper towels in a holder or if it breaks they leave it with an out of order sign forever until eventually they just remove it and never replace it. It's supposed to be a "judgement free zone" but some of the staff definitely treats you pretty poorly. They have a trainer there that will bully people off of multiple machines in the free use area if they are "training" someone and want it ready at their whim. If normal members can't "reserve" 5 or more machines because they plan to use it neither can the trainer for his client! I've had him follow me and say he was going to use something next for his client so I got off the machine and went to another and he immediately followed me and said he's going to use that too. Well his one client can't use 3 machines all at the same time. I spoke to staff about this multiple times and you could tell the guy was combative and made them uncomfortable so they did nothing about it. I contacted Planet Fitness online form and nothing about it still. So when Planet Fitness leaves their comment to your review saying reach out or talk to a manager it's irrelevant because at the end of the day if the manager at that location doesn't care when issues are brought up, it has to go above them, and it never does. I've even been confronted about wearing leggings that have a jean look and was told I can't wear them and I showed and explained they aren't actually jeans but leggings but meanwhile plenty of guys come in after work with jeans and even workboots on the treadmills! They pick and choose particular people to give problems, it's how it is in Augusta. Sadly we don't really have many options for gyms in the area, let alone decent ones. This one is only still your best option because it's the "newest" but give it a couple more years and it'll be another dump.

I started coming here not long ago and so far I’ve had a great first impression. The staff are really friendly and helped me whenever I had questions. The equipment stays clean and I see most people cleaning up after themselves. They also make sure they keep the spray bottles stocked. The bathrooms and locker room stay clean and I never see any urine stains or toilet paper on the floor. There’s clear instructions on the machines on how to position the parts, what muscle group it works, and a QR code that shows a tutorial on how to use it properly. So it’s very beginner friendly here. There also isn’t a huge crowd (sometimes it can be a bit busy) and there’s a lunk alarm but I’ve never seen them use it before. Everyone also seems to mind their business. I don’t see any stares or nasty looks, everyone is just here to work out. The music also isn’t super loud, which I’ve heard other planet fitness’ have this issue, I can still hear my music without jacking it up high. So all in all, as an introvert and someone who was worried about going to the gym for the first time, I give this place a 10/10. Don’t let your anxiety stop you! I promise it’s so worth it!
