The gym itself is fairly decent … but one of the employees ; senior class, glasses , shorter , heavier … but holy cow ! She is INSANELY rude and unprofessional ! I’ve heard and seen from multiple other members and they all say the same thing ! Obnoxious too. Accused one of my friends of not putting a bunch of equipment away , when literally none of it was hers !! As well as, trying to kick me out of the gym during my last work out when there was a whole 10 minutes left , very controlling .. yikes ! Just rude , unprofessional which is why I started going to a different gym ! No one should have to put up with that constant negativity and rudeness . If you like Planet Fitness - try a different location !!

I've been going to the Canton PF pretty much since they opened. I've tried a couple of other fitness centers but nothing compares to the value, cleanliness and staff. I look forward to spending nearly 2 hours every morning there! No judgement, people are there to work out and that's what we do. 10/10, would recommend!

I joined Planet Fitnes in Canton a few weeks ago and have had nothing but great experiences. The manager Alyssa greeted me and gave me a great tour of the facility and helped me with signing up. Everyone there is so friently and helpful. This gym is clean and that is a huge plus! They even made sure to say Happy Birthday to me on the way out the door which suprised me and was greatly appreciated! 5 out of 5 recommend

Went into the Canton location to use the tanning beds like I have for years. Signed in and was ready, then the girl asked for eyewear. I haven't had that in years as they have not asked. They denied me access to the tanning booth even though 4 days before that, I had just tanned. They did not ask for it then, nor had they asked in years! So I went out of my way to go to this location and ended up having to leave. Complete waste of an hour. She offered to "sell me " a pair, which they should have just let me use them. I already pay $25 a month to use the gym and tanning beds! Not only was it embarrassing, but I left so mad and wasted my time and gas.

I’ve been a member since 2019. For almost all of that time, I’ve been a Black Card member. Recently, I’ve been injured and not really able to use the facilities as mush as in the past. In order to save a little money, I was going to downgrade until I’m healthy and able to come more regularly. They wanted to charge me a $29 downgrade fee!! To click a button on the computer!
This is how you know you’re dealing with a corporation.

I like the people that work at the Canton Planet Fitness. Very nice and helpful. I like using the 30 min workout area where you go back and forth from a weight machine to a cardio exercise and you switch every minute. They have a timer and a red light and green light to help you stay on track.

I went in to find out about pricing. There were two ladies at the front desk. One spoke to me. I asked some questions about pricing and membership and she handed me a paper to look over. She then went back to what she was doing. She eventually had a young man come help me. When I started asking him a question, he recognized someone that walked in and literally walked away from me while I was mid-sentence. I ended up leaving. I love the Planet Fitness where I used to live... this one definitely needs some better trained employees.

The staff is nice and the facility is clean. The machines are squeaky and not well maintained. The machines catch on the cables as you’re doing reps making it dangerous to do heavier weight. The machines are also positioned so tightly next to eachother to leave room for the 60 different treadmills and ellipticals (half of which don’t work). It’s ok. It just needs a big update.

I just had the worst experience at this Canton Ga location. Walking in I scanned my app no problem…they denied me access because I didn’t have my ID on me. I have a Black Card membership that can be used coast to coast and I come to this gym all the time. I can’t help but think it was for different reasons. I just called the gym I proceeded my membership at in Dublin Ga and they were so surprised and shocked at my treatment. Needless to say I canceled my membership!!

Update 3/25: They got rid of the flat hydromassage beds! I'm so disappointed! They could have left at least one. The chair type don't work nearly as well.

What I most like are the FLAT hydromassage beds. Whenever I visit another location that only has the reclining hydromassage beds, I'm VERY disappointed. With flat beds, the weight of my body improves the pressure of the massage. The reclining ones, don't allow that, and they don't fit my body. With all that said, if this location ever decides to eliminate the FLAT hydromassage beds (like so many other locations seem to be doing), there would be no reason for me to continue driving 20 minutes to PF when I could go to a 24 Hour Fitness only 5 minutes away from my house. Please keep the FLAT hydromassage beds, and you'll keep me as a happy customer! :)

Update: please consider putting up Gym Ettiquite posters. Too many ppl working directly off the dumbell rack, doing calisthenics and stretches off of Smith machines, sitting on equipment to "hold it" while conducting unrelated exercises during peak hours, sitting w 3x sets of dumbells around their feet. This was all seen in first 30 min of todays experience. Lots of these ppl are new or inconsiderate enough to not care. No one besides Planet Fitness owns this equipment. Ergo, more attn from your staff while they walk around please. Hopefully the posters will work.

Horrible gym. Dirty bathrooms. Incompetent staff. Was told to tan in room 1 and went into the room pictured below. Bed did not turn on. Front desk said that’s not room 1. Had to change rooms to another room 1. Wow! Get it together! Who did I talk to? The GM while she was telling everyone to leave because the power went out when she blew a breaker cleaning. Yes, everyone abruptly told to get out. Save yourself the headache and go to Anytime Fitness down the road. 100x better.

The gym is big and roomy as opposed to smaller gyms where you’re bumping into each other. There are lots of cardio equipment and exercise equipment. Also, the gym is clean, Todd the manager runs a tight ship. If a piece of equipment breaks, he gets it fixed right away. The staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this gym.

What's not to like? I have a bench, bar and leg curl/ext on the back porch, which is nice during the summer. But in the cold of winter for $1 to join, $10 a month, $50 annually, you can't beat this gym. Plus it's just ten minutes away. They have everything I need and boy do they ever keep it spotless clean! I'm very happy with that particular Planet Fitness it's always clean neat and the management is very professional the machines work the weights are clean and the hydro bed is fantastic I go there frequently that is my gym as far as I'm concerned..
