Great staff. Cold showers. No matter what time I go to let them run. I have to switch home gyms so I can have a warm shower on my way to work, since that's when I work out. No need to speak to a manager if the owner doesn't care enough to rectify after reading my review. 🤦🏽

Kinda surprised with negative reviews. Ive been coming here just about every single night and its been great! For the past week or so, I've seen employees spending the entire time cleaning, helping customers and even encouraging an elderly customer on his workouts. The only downside is bathroom. Toliet paper holders are basically hanging on for dear life and tissue could be much better for a company that pulls in almost 1billion in profit system wide.

I go to the Planet Fitness on Manchester Expressway; the turnover rate of employees is high; what one person tells you vs what another tells you are different; some of the staff are amazing...Cam for one is the greatest!
I'm no size 2, and am in the gym 5-6 times a week; some of the women come in dressed in shorts with their butt hanging out, shirts with their breasts hanging out; it makes me uncomfortable as I don't go to the gym to habe to see that; but have been told by one employee that something could be said them and told by another employee...a member of management...nothing could be said. I keep going to PF because I do have friends that go there; some of the employees are great; I just feel like there's a double standard because something would be said to me if I came in dressed the way some of these women do.

Once again, employee disappeared, waited half an hour to use blackcard service and ended up leaving. Paying for services you can’t use.

UPDATE- The only reason I keep my membership is so I can use the great locations out of town when I travel for work. State wide this is the worst location. Computer is constantly broken, can never use any black card services because depending on who is working- they can’t use anything without it... System continues to go down for days at a time. And you can’t call before driving all the way to town, because no one will answer the phone. The staff attitude remains poor stating there’s nothing that they can do about it, and one employee simply replied “well I don’t use the tan so it doesn’t bother me “

If there were zero stars I would give them zero. All of the black card extras NEVER WORK. I am sick of it! I will be cancelling my membership as soon as I find another gym. This place is horrible.
UPDATE: I decided to give them another chance… omg! Nothing working. No internet. No tanning beds. They have moved out almost every exercise bike. WHY DID I COME BACK HERE. WORST GYM EVER. THIS PLACE NEEDS NEGATIVE STARS.

UPDATE 2: Why did you get rid of most the exercise bikes with the back support??? There are only 2 of those now and each one sits at the end of the treadmills like we are being punished. It feels stupid there. it's so out of place. Sometimes there is someone on that last tread mill and we have to exercise inches from each other. And sometimes you can't get on one because they are being used and they are the only TWO there. You ruined my gym 😭

Love it here. I haven't exercised in over 20 years. Just started again because I am now 52 and have hip and back pain and I wanted to start exercising again to strengthen my body to manage my pain. It's working! I'm feeling really good and strong and energetic. I don't push myself too hard. I just exercise casually and it is helping. It's worth joining just for the hydro massage bed 😱This place is awesome!

Update: the remodel is amazing. The place is immaculate. The equipment is exceptional. The new massage chairs are heaven. I didn't think my gym could get any better but they did it. The employees are all great. I love my gym 🥰

shower never gets the cold water, always asked the staff & they said it’s been a problem there’s no way to fix it. like I’ve been standing there waiting for the water to get cold & some people were doing the same thing till we realized it was just always hot, yall just be paying all that water bill coz people just left the water opened for HOURS to get it cold & it didn’t. gotta fix that!

This Planet Fitness is clean, clearly laid out, and recently upgraded with brand new equipment. It’s a great place to get your workout in without the frills. At 6:09 a.m today. 2ND time this happens . As I was on a treadmill - a female came up to me and said this is my threadmill GET OFFI said to her ok I will be off in 15 minutes, she hit the emergency button and machine stopped. I went to tell the clerk at the front desk and he said, just go to another threadmill. He never even asked if I was ok, nor did he go talk to the lady. This is not a safe place!! And clerks fo not care.

It's a Gym not bad. Has a/c lots of machines to train on. They have dumbbells but no free weights benches. I went as a guess but I may join cuz it's convenient to to get back in shape. They even have a wonderful water fountain to fill up your water bottle. I got a good workout in and enjoyed it! Not too bad!

They do keep it clean at least. As far as maintenance goes needs emprovement. Shower has been broken scence I joined several months ago. Think they turn the hot water off or way down during late night and early mornings. The manager is not very pleasent and not a people person. However, the female assistant is very nice and velvet. I go here every now and then, its the best priced gym for what you get. Most of the staff is very friendly.

Friendly staff and a well maintained facility. Or it once was that way. We have been loyal customers for years and are considering another gym for the first time. Maintenance has slipped dramatically and the staff is, at best, indifferent. Greetings from the staff when entering or leaving the facility are rare. The air conditioning hasn't worked for a couple of weeks and today, even the fans weren't functioning. We, like many others, cut our workouts short because of the heat inside the building. It's sad seeing what was once a nice, welcoming facility deteriorate so quickly. I suspect others share our concerns since traffic at the facility has dropped significantly.
