I’m reaching out because the recent equipment changes have significantly affected my workouts. Machines like the hip thrust was highly anticipated and essential to my routine, the reduced floor space has made training less effective.

As a paying member investing my time and money here, I expect access to a well-balanced gym setup that supports strength and mobility training. I hope management will reconsider these changes or provide a clear plan to replace the removed equipment.

I travel the whole state of georgia and this is the worst gym and all of georgia i've ever been in. I go in there to tan and there's 19 bulbs out in the bed.And they said they had put new bulbs in really! This is a horrible planet fitness! I would never recommend it to anyone! Then the put me in a bed that was supposed to have all new bulbs. Two not working in it. Complained to manager but she didn't seem to care.

Most of the treadmills were broken or older models. This is likely the first and only time I visit this location.

I will give them credit for finally addressing the issue about the correct shoes being worn to the gym. But seriously why would people not wear gym wear to the gym? That's so counter productive.

What really stands out to me is the incredible value. For a minimal cost, I get 24/7 access to a clean, spacious facility with all the equipment I need for a great workout. It takes the pressure off—I don't feel like I have to live at the gym to justify an expensive membership. It's simply a stress-free, no-frills place to stay active and healthy.

The employees are helpful and nice. The facility itself is not very well maintained. It is dirty. The equipment is not in good condition. Many of the treadmills don’t work.
The facility is in need of an update.
The hydro beds turn off in the middle of a session. It is very hot in there.

Number 8 on the hydromassagers works, 9&10 only work on the 10 pressure setting. You need more of the climbers. They are always occupied. There are plenty of extra pieces of equipment sitting around not used but you only have two of those. Mostly keep the gym clean sometimes lacking paper towels with the cleaners.

They continuously deduct money from my account when I have cancelled months ago. I go in several times, call several times, send emails, etc. I’m always told that the problem is handled and it never is. If you join this gym it seems like joining death row records. I can’t get these people out of my account. It’s definitely about to escalate legally on my end.

I will not be back to this location, most of the machines are out dated . There’s a loud mold ,musty smell as soon as you enter .
Paid a fee just to work out for 15 min and had to evacuate due to a fire alarm.

Wow I've been going to Planet Fitness in Covington Georgia for about a year always been a good experience until today. Was feeling a little stressed thought it would be a good idea for a water massage for my wife and I this has never been a problem until I was met by the manager Shandria Usher. Then that changed real quick she was so rude and hateful my stress level went straight through the roof blood pressure as well. If the local policy has changed on the Black Card use or they are now enforcing the old rules she could have said well I'm sorry but we are following the rules now and you can upgrade for X number of dollars I would have gladly paid. and upgraded but instead she treated me like I was a total idiot and had just broken a major law. I will now have to cancel my membership because I never want to risk getting treated like that again the whole reason you go to the gym it's to get a little chill out time when you exercise not anymore at Planet Fitness Covington thanks to the manager Shandria Usher.

Ive been to several of the Planet fitness locations now. This one has everything i need to get a good workout in, and relax in the spa. This one is more dusty than other locations but otherwise i cant complain! I will still come here every time im in town. :)

The workers are friendly most of the equipment are broken but most of all the showers and shower curtain in men’s restroom needs to be changed and the water pressure is very low and is not hot enough to finish your shower then the parking on the side of the building cameras not working we’ve had are cars broken into more then one time so police couldn’t find suspects that damaged the cars just to be honest the place need remodeling equipment needs to be upgraded were you can use your fast charger for phone on machines but this planet fitness is just like a 3 star hotel they need a real cleaning crew to come in and steam clean the equipment and restrooms 3 times a week to maintain there place independent contractors

The staff are very friendly. They have to do something about that back room. Some of the mats are on the floor instead of hanging on the wall. They smell even after you wipe them done. That place needs to be sanitized monthly to get rid of that smell. It's extremely hot in that room, which brings out a very bad odor. I'm not sure why mats are not hanging throughout the gym to use in a different area. That area gets extremely congested. Other than this, the gym is great.

Staff are really nice & very helpful. Clean. But stand up tanning bed # 6 needs the control panel fixed where you can read it, it's faded off & new people don't know what buttons to select. I’ve been going here every day since September and I’m going to have to start going to another one, on Mondays and Tuesdays it’s too crowded it’s a very small planet fitness yes people get angry because there’s not enough equipment, the parking is a nightmare, the one in conyers is bigger and pretty much every other one is bigger I wanted to save gas money by going to this one the customers are pretty hostile I mean I wanted to try to go during the crowded hours to feel a bit more social but that was a bad idea all I got was rude stares and people getting up in my face asking how many sets I had left, the staff was friendly it’s not their fault but if you see this and you want to try a spacious gym, where you won’t be alienated avoid this one. It’s not the owners fault it’s not the employees it’s the location and people within it. A typical Covington problem I think there’s something in the water

The bulbs in the tanning beds are very weak. No to mention hair everywhere. Half of them are broken and you can't use them. I do like the gym though. The staff is very friendly. Just wish I could tan there too.

The water in one of the stalls wouldn’t turn on and the stall I was actually able to utilize was clogged, which caused a pool of standing water… very gross.

Some ladies use the locker room as a social area, instead of actually using it, which makes it uncomfortable for me to get dressed. It’s pretty weird, they just stand there while I prepare, almost like peeping Tom’s. This only happens (for me) at this location.

Disgusting! Went to use the tanning beds. Took my glasses off before entering wiped down the bed half way threw the tanning I started to break out In a rash I used no tanning lotions and have been tanning for 10+ years with no issues. I got out of the bed and put my glasses on to look at the rash then looked closer at the bed... I couldn't believe my eyes. Mind you it's under the glass but with fans blowing if that stuff got in it can get out. Calmly showed staff the rash and the bed the person that went to look at the bed said ita under the glass no problem with it and she was the Manger... well I think ita gross and I won't be returning.
