Been a member since it first opened at this location. The new equipment looks great but should not have moved the 30 minute circuit room. Please bring it back. To planet fitness (owner) thanks for responding to my review. I did reach out to the club manager in griffin, ga on Taylor street. Wasn’t able to speak with the manager but did speak with assistant manager (Wesley) and he said that it was an upper management decision to make the change and basically there was nothing he could do, so I guess the ball is back in your court. The associate I spoke with prior to Wesley said there have been a lot of complaints regarding this. Thanks again.

Nicely did an outside job on the bathroom on August 13, 2025. It smelled clean you feel great not to feel that l have to go to the food depot go to the grocery store to use their bathroom. Ann does an outstanding job when she is working and I don't feel like I have to go to the food depot either. Good job ladies. Keep up the great work. Number 1 in the tanning bed doesn't work properly. It was shutting on and off. Thanks for fixing it properly thank you for your time reading this. I like the convenience of PF, and all the up to date equipment. The staff is very nice. The main part I like is the Trainer Laurie, she is very thorough about what she teaches. She has brought me from getting up and down from the floor, and how to do each exercise the right way. Her personality is very easy to like, and I have been going to her classes for going on two years, and am now able to do everything for myself.

I started working out at Planet Fitness in 2020. I really like their no hustle environment and that most of the machines are self-explanatory. The gym is always very clean and sanitary. The entire staff is very friendly and personable .
Nearly two years ago I started taking their fitness classes with the gym trainer Laurie. Whether it's a full class or or not I feel like the workout is catered to my needs. She is focused on being healthy above everything.
She caters to a variety of ages. She can adjust the workout to each person's needs.
My husband has commented several times that he can tell the difference since I have been taking her classes.
She has a sincerity about her. She is a major asset to this gym.
If you are looking for a trainer who's focused on your goals and needs . Then Laurie is the one.

I enjoy Plant Fitness (PF) moreso because of their knowledgeable, compassionate trainer, Laurie. I've been a member now for over a year. Upon joining, I was not aware that PF held classes daily throughout the week with a trainer. I have had the most rewarding experience at PF Griffin,Ga. I had my membership for several years until I actually went into the place in 2024! Not only do I feel better physically but also emotionally. Trainer Laurie has been so patient with me - teaching me the ropes and making me feel like a part of every class. And Laurie is super patient with me as I have a very distinct learning mode.I can't imagine looking forward to my classes if Laurie was not my trainer. You can come and go at your own leisure. Never feel uncomfortable unlike at some gyms. Staff is always super friendly and ready to help any needs you may require. All equipment from the tanning beds to the bench press are kept nice and clean. Bathrooms are always tidy as could be! Overall would have to say well worth what you pay for. Definitely recommend the black card! For an extra $10 the perks it comes with are unmatched.

My wife has the membership. I go as her plus one. They recently got new equipment. New treadmills, stair climbers, and a variety of other equipment also. It is a nice improvement. Update: Planet Fitness has a bunch of policies that prohibits Black Card members plus one's from using any of the massage chairs or the lounge massage tables. We both used the chairs countless times before. Now they don't allow it. Gotta do better PF.

Good gym but I do have one complaint an I deal with it every time I go to this specific gym in Griffin. The bathrooms/locker rooms need a fan or a more powerful suction fan. Sometimes it’s hot and muggy from showers. Most of the time it stinks from the bathrooms and body odor. I see they have scent sprayers in there but they don’t help. It need ventilation. I can hardly stand to be in the locker rooms more than the time it takes to hold my breath. But as far as the gym goes.. I love it.

TLDR: older white man 10+ years older than me has harassed myself and minors while at the gym. Local staff and PF management took 0 steps to help. Countless calls and weeks later they said camera footage of the harassment isn’t enough, so the creepy old white man won’t be banned.

If you wanted to preyed on but a crusty older balding white man in navy blue ON brand shoes, black track pants, and a grey under armor shirt, please go to this gym!

If you’re a minor or bring multiple friends to the gym with you to feel safe, even that won’t stop him! Camera footage means nothing to Planet Fitness, even with the exact dates and times of the harassment.

Report him for following you around in the gym on multiple occasions and he’ll hide in the mens bathroom!

Women and teens, stay away from this gym. I filed a report and the gym decided “not to ban me or the pedophilic predator”. No idea why I was considered being banned. I never approached this crazy man because I had no idea what he was capable of besides stalking and other harassment.

He’s also been caught doing this to other young women who may also be a minor.

Stay safe and choose another gym that isn’t Planet Fitness.

If you’re a woman 30’s and under, be sure to bring a friend if you have nowhere else to exercise. This didn’t keep me safe, but maybe it’ll work for you.

Would rate 0 starts if I could. Sickening establishment with a summer program that allows teens as young as 14 years old to workout in their establishment— a playground for this balding older white man who also enjoys smiling creepily at women.
