This place some serious . So the “ABc “ people “billing dep” charges me an annual fee last month , then decide they want to take it out again this month so that’s $100 bucks .then I called them to ask why and the lady “AbC” rep says they switched to a new system and can’t see any old payment . Let me remind you I have planet fitness counter person on 3 way telling them they charged my account two times and they lookin at it on the computer .. she says she can’t go by what the people see on computer … how the hell does that work they trying to get over so just cancel my membership .. 2 years strong and this is the appreciation I get … I’ll take my money up town to the other people who gives me no trouble what so ever

I’ve been a black card member for a couple years now. I love the atmosphere. All the people working out there are awesome. Ive gained some cool friends and am happy to have been there a long time. Some of the equipment is constantly broken or in repairs but that’s something I can get over.

I’ve had an issue with the staff members ignoring me. I’ll ask a question which is answered but then I am neglected after saying anything else. The management is usually with women in the gym. My whole gym session he’s not around. Majority of the time the staff are on their cellphones or distracted by women. The management and staff are weak. I can handle weak staff & management from planet fitness . What I can’t handle is being ignored. I asked if i was under contract and was told “I don’t know.” Then I asked if there was a fee for cancelling and got told “I won’t know until you cancel.” I was never asked why I was leaving. It just lists it under “no time.” I’m at the gym EVERYDAY. I’ve had a couple other bad experiences not worth the time of day but I hope one day I can go in this Planet Fitness and be able to ask the staff basic questions.

This is a gym. It is what it is. The crowd meter doesn't work. It will have 1 bar, and the location will be full. However, the staff is friendly and the equipment it nice.

Toilets need to be cleaned all the way down, not just the seat. This location also doesn’t sell the typical drink variety of other PFs up and down the east coast.

Also found it weird that they allow solicitors on a Saturday. If I’m going to the gym I don’t want to be bothered by someone selling something.

Not impressed... Went to join this date...as I asked questions about membership and friend referral bonus the rep got irratated and short.. not willing to explain anything. There was two of us going to join, that's why we went there, but after her rudeness we walked out Live in north Troup county so will drive to Newnan and join One Fitness tomorrow.

I'm there 4-6 days a week. No problems getting to machines. The app is very helpful. The employees are there to help anytime. You can't beat the price for sure. My wife loves the tanning and I love the hydro massage. No excuse to not get fit! Do it for your future!

whoever these new people are working at night are awful. the one girl sits in the black card lounge and plays on her phone. then when you want to use the massage beds she's nowhere to be found for over a half hour. I'm this close to going to another fitness club.

i was ignored when I asked how long it would be until the female locker room would be shut down for cleaning. I work full time and came straight from work. so I needed to know. she turned her back and walked off. a simple I don't know, or I'll ask would suffice.

then 2 young girls were seen going into the locker room eventhough it was being cleaned. I know they're not employees. so what gives? this place is less awful during the day.

I've had this membership since Dceember so maybe a few months. It's like my second gym being that it seems to lack the premium benefits of other gyms no days. This is my first time coming near closing (20 min before 9) and I was only going to finish a daily jog. Well, the gym doors are closed and per the employee, they've been instructed from upper management to lock them early to prevent more customers from coming in.

Being a former retail associate and manager, I completely get the nature of the call BUT when a service is being paid for, I intend to be able to use it when I please. Other than this complaint, the prehistoric type machines and few free weights, I guess I enjoy the treadmills.

My first review of this facility was 7 years ago. It had just opened and was really clean and had new machines. Fast forward 7 years. The facility is still nice but has not been kept up very well. Several of the machines are missing the rubber grips, and the molding around the windows are taped so that the trim around the glass doesn't fall. I just started back using the tanning beds. The standup beds, the fans in them don't work and are worn. They have dirt blowing around between the acrylic and the bulbs. The floor had lint this morning from not being swept in awhile. I used one of the lay down beds this past week and the face tanner had only one side of it working. I know the fees are really cheap and you get great benefits, like being able to use other locations. I love that. But after working out in another town and using their equipment and seeing how their machines and building had been taken care of, the LaGrange needs a little TLC, and machines need updating. Oh yeah, the other gyms have newer equipment that this one doesn't have. I also have another gym membership to another gym in town, and it has the same upgraded machines that the Planet Fitness' had. I wasn't able to write a new review and had to add to the original review which is below. Like I stated in the original review, the workers are great and really friendly.

Really glad this gym opened. Nice place to workout and friendly staff. Also saves money since you can tan here as well. The hydro bed is the bomb.
Only issue is depending on what time you go, you may have to wait for a few members to finish their text or phone conversation while sitting on a machine. This isn't the staffs fault. I just use another machine while waiting on them. If you haven't tried hydro bed, what are you waiting for.

Planet Fitness LaGrange is a charming facility and laid out like most other Planet Fitness facilities I have been in. What sets the LaGrange Planet Fitness apart is the people. I go VERY early in the morning and Shamoria (sp) is so sweet. She's always there to greet me and the others at this crazy hour and know a lot of us by name at this point. Even if I have to miss a morning session and have to go in the evenings, the associates are still super friendly. In this day and time, having happy employees that make you feel welcome is rare. The rest of the rating pertains to the basics, the location is well-maintained and problems (machine not working, door jams, faucet not working, etc) are addressed quickly. And let's not forget, the price is spectacular.

I've been to a lot of planet fitness locations. I'm aware that each town has different activities, etc. This location has a lot of tanning customers and the beds are always HOT. I'm not trying to be negative about them at all bc the staff are all very friendly and I will be going there to tan no matter if I have to clean my own bed or not. I just feel like the beds are neglected considering the amount of people that use the tanning facilities. So I am saying , if you tan only and you want a really immaculate bed or room, this location is not for you. If you can handle it (like me) then there is nothing wrong at all. Except a couple o. Bulbs that don't work also I forgot to mention.
