By far the worst gym! Nothing has been updated, the same machines from seven years ago, almost everything is dirty and old. And there aren't enough machines for the number of people who go there. I've been to several Planet gyms, but this is definitely the WORST.

I paid $33/monthly for over a year. Came at 12:30am the black guy at cashier really bad attitude I asked for restroom just for face washing he only known to say nope, no, nah. I asked when it open again.. he said no idea. Me Ok ok good news. Even not excuse for no basic service. So disappointed will cancel for sure.

If I could I would give it negative 5 stars. I do not recommend it to anyone, they have a horrible attitude with customers. I have been to several gyms of the same chain in different states and where they scold the most is in this one. Everything is bad, you cant go with selfie sticks, you cannot talk on the phone, you cant go in work clothes, you cannot go in work shoes, clients sometimes go directly to train... the last straw is you cannot walk around with your sports bag and training accessories... Literally everything is bad🤷🏻‍♂️. They say that it is the gym policy (of that gym only) that the manager constantly checks the cameras. They bother clients who only go to train way too much.

NO CEILING FANS. Gym is always extremely stuffy and hot due to lack of airflow. TERRIBLE.
Both calf extension machines are wobbly and shift back and forth during use.
Staff is fine, but trash cans are almost always overflowing.
Only redeeming quality is that it is genuinely a 24/7 gym location instead of that ridiculous 24/5 stuff other PF locations are on.

Very busy gym, overall the vibe to the place is nice. The gym is okay, one of the biggest advantage it has over the others is that it is open 24/7. Pretty decent gym. Has everything you expect from planet fitness, but on the smaller side. Lots of employees working who are all nice. Only thing I want to point out is the AV in this facility. The music playing sounds like it is coming from a loud speaker with all treble and no bass. Also all the TVs are in full blue picture. Really hard to even see the picture and it looks like every show is Avatar people. Please address !

Great facility like most PFs are. The beautiful thing is this is the only 24 hour 7 day a week PF in all of Metro Atlanta! I learned it is because it is privately owned. The OWNER wanted to keep it open 24/7 where the corporate owned PFs don't want that. Thank you to the owner who made the right decision for his customers! I think I need to look into owning a PF because I would DEFINITELY be 24/7!!

First time coming, nice environment until I was told to put my bag up, this is the first location I’ve ever been approached on this. Associate working didn’t even acknowledge me or other guests that entered.

FYI update- 6/6, returned here and had to sign in because this is not my home gym, I absolutely hate touching that pen.

Also, associate mentioned to me that I may want to use a “spray” because they are starting to crack down on stuff like that? I didn’t go back and forth with him because he looked slow. But owner should beware of associates accusing customers it could lead to a lawsuit.

Homeless frequent this location, I have been able to workout for 2hrs and will see someone sleeping when I arrive and still there when I leave.

Hispanic lady does not speak when you leave unless she knows you, vs at other pf locations.

This is not a good atmosphere, owner needs to spend some time vetting for good candidates instead of hiring someone to fill a time slot. This will be my last time coming to this location.

This place is very unaccommodating and they pick and choose which patrons they want to scrutinize. They told me my 13 yr old son could not work out after I signed a waiver because he doesn’t have any form of ID. He’s 13!!! I’m not bringing in vital documents (birth certificate ) because you won’t my word. This is crazy! It’s a fitness center not a government facility. I will never return to this gym again.

If you’re a black card member, it shouldn’t matter how many times you go to another gym besides your home gym. Joalman (or however you spell it) was the most annoying front desk person I’ve ever experienced at planet fitness. He stopped me 3 times within 5 mins of being in the gym before even getting into my groove. He watched me from the moment I got in and micromanaged me until I decided to just leave without working out. I’ve never been annoyed by ANYONE at planet fitness before and it’s almost like he took joy in preventing me from doing my workout. So disappointing and ANNOYING!

I have been here before about a year ago and preferred LA fitness at the time due to the way planet fitness created this energy around not being or acting like a body builder when the gym is literally to build your body.

I was impressed by the cleanliness and the front desk customer service. I don't remember his name because I did not ask. Due to my social anxiety I had enough brain cells to choose if I was going to use my right or my left hand to give him my id before I freaked out and died of awkwardness. But I would have asked - had I had the strength.

He had the forearm vascularity of a Renaissance statue and let me tell you - I have never seen this before. This guy knew everyone's name that was coming in and or greeted them with a real smile. And everyone was so happy to see him. That means he has been at this location for a while and is attentive to everyone's needs and creates lasting bonds and relationships...at planet fitness? Unheard of -please give him a raise.

Planet fitness and gyms in general have issues retaining employees or having employees in staff that care. Typically they also just need a warm body to hold down the fort. Especially at a 24/7 spot.

The planet fitness gym intimidation rules in general. No grunting... If I'm pushing my muscle to failure and it burns I might let out a lil yelp... So u don't want me at failure? Ok I won't grow much then so what the point then.

I will be honest as a muscular person I am intimidated to wear a tank top here or anything revealing. I do feel it creates an environment where I have to hide myself not to shame others. So the coin is flipped. There are even signs saying no string tank tops.. showing your body off can be a sense of PRIDE not intimidation. We built this with food dedication, practice, and consistency. When I look at a nice body I don't feel bad about myself. I say .. god I want that let me work harder. But planet fitness misses the mark on inclusiveness. Caters to thoes who are insecure and creates a safe space for that insecurity to thrive instead of potential to be unleased. Maybe that false safe space combined with the low price brings in those members who aren't typically consistent at the gym. This keeps the revenue coming. Also reduced wear and tear of the machines by turning an individual like myself who works out daily elsewhere. Everything is broken at the other gyms.

Women can wear short shorts and show their labia, crack and cellulite but men are discouraged fom wearing string tank tops. How does that work how is that "gymtimidation" Im more intimidated by the girl in the shorts God forbid someone looks her direction and becomes a "creep" but we can't show off hard work and dedication.

Anyway do come here and you will be pleasantly surprised. (In the morning not during rush hour)

If you're a body builder or muscular you might be uncomfortable that you don't fit in cause you're too brolic and you may want to go back to Golds, LA or lifetime... This is good for a quick stop or when you are just starting out at the gym and need a place to learn. Don't put yourself in an environment where you feel you don't belong for too long it will cause you to have negative thoughts about yourself as your trying to workout and be positive. If your muscular and worked hard for it enjoy yourself enjoy your body and find a place that celebrates you. Cause this isn't it.

First off customer service is important for me. I walk into this planet fitness and say good morning to the man at the side of the desk. I got no response. When I scanned my membership he barks at me with " sign the log". I then went to workout to have this guy just walking around with a messed up attitude just killing the vibe of wanting to do anything but leave. Which I did after ten minutes. The set up was also chaos. I won't ever be going back to this location. Maybe they should send a secret member to see what Im saying.

I worked out at this location recently. The first thing I noticed while entering the place was the smell, like it hasn't been properly cleaned in a while, like a sweaty musty smell .The second one, the place is way too crowded and small for all the people that go there, I also noticed a lot of the gym members are just occupying space and look like they don't know what they're doing, i went there because I had no option. Normally, I try to avoid this location.

First and last time here. Machine especially massage chair are old. Staff needs to walk around and clean machines. Had to switch treadmills twice because of garbage on the machines. I have been trying to cancel my membership for months after moving to another state. I was told by my local Planet Fitness I had to cancel at my original club via letter or in person, so I've sent multiple letters with no response and called to no avail. The night shift manager is unbelievably rude and combative. Since the first time I came to this location he has always bothered me about something and, it’s always been during the middle of a work out from doing weights even to a full on sprint on the treadmill. He’s just very unpleasant to work with and he should stop trying to flirt with his employees. It’s just uncomfortable to watch and witness while checking in or waiting on them to turn on the black card member machine for you. Had to wait 20 minutes for this manager to stop flirting and come turn on my machine. Dude legit got an attitude with me about getting impatient while he flirted with his employee. Terrible management.

I love that this location is open 24 hours! It is perfect for those weirdo night owls or even weirder early birds (like me) who find time for the gym at odd hours. I have been here anywhere between 2am and 6am and there are maybe 4-5 others in around this time, so free equipment is abundant. I have a favorite treadmill that I only haven't been able to use once in the past month since I started coming here. The overnight staff are very friendly, especially the weekday guy- Andre. He didn't make me feel too dumb the time I needed his help to retrieve my cell phone from the trash can. There is all the equipment you could ever dream of, and there are multiples of the more popular machines. I love the sign that says to leave egos at the door and the gym rules you have to agree to when you join include "not making abnoxious noises" (looking at those weight-lifters, you know who you are!) and things like not judging yourself or others too harshly, being kind to yourself and others. I believe Planet Fitness as a whole promotes this message of self-compassion, respect and patience, which is refreshing in a gym and makes me want to keep going back there. I have always felt safe there, even in the middle of the night and I am glad I found my new home gym since I moved away from my old one. The black card membership is so worth it as you get to bring a buddy as many times as you want (I bring my 70-year-old father sometimes!), you can go to any location, the app they use includes "exclusive" work outs (and tracks your progress but any membership level will get you that). Then things I have yet to take advantage of, such as tanning, massage chairs and hydro, and full body enhancement (apparently they shine lights on you and send some vibrations and you become "enhanced"). They also have classes that anyone can take that you sign up for on the app and meet at the front at a certain time, like upper/lower body strength, abs, circuit training. Happy with my new gym!

The staff at this location are unbelievably rude, annoying, and combative to say the least. I came to this location as it was the weekend and the closest one open for 24hrs. As soons I stepped into the location, I was met with a interrogation of how old my children were. I advised the employee of my children's ages to which he responded they are not. I responded that my children are smaller size like their mother however are definitely of age. I've also showed their birth certificates at other locations due to employees questioning their age. The employee Camren them responded they are not 14 & 13. I told him my children are smaller males like him..The audacity of him being a 5"5 grown man 🙄 questioning the size of another smaller male. Finally, we got into the gym... As I'm in the middle of my workout he comes over and advised that my child cannot hang on the pull up bar although I've seen numerous grown men do the same exact thing. Anyway we complied. Shortly after, he comes over again advising that I needed to put my tiny gym bag in a locker. I have NEVER been told to put mysmall bag in a locker EVER. At this point, I feel like he had a quarrel with me because I mentioned he was small and also feel discriminated against because my children and I are of smaller stature. This completely ruined my mood and my workout. This experience at this location was very aggravating.do NOT GO there unless you absolutely have to. It's beyond annoying being followed and criticized for every minute thing.

Great experience very helpful greeted me as I walked in the door also I noticed cleanliness at the gym Andre seem to always been busy kept himself working I also seen him cleaning the restroom area very thoroughly that was most impressive and made me feel comfortable knowing that it's being cleaned properly he is doing such a great job he deserves a promotion and recognition for his hard work just saying you don't see that these days he really cares about his job keep up the good work

After joining Planet Fitness and I checking at the front by using my face recognition to unlock my IPhone to scan my Planet Fitness barcode. The scanner successfully scanned me through but right then Jacky one the worker told me that it’s their policy to ID you also including scanning your barcode. So immediately told her to cancel my membership. Everyone stares at you awkwardly, judgment free zone is definitely a LIE. LA fitness is a much better join . In life you pay for what you get!

It is currently 4am and I’ve just completed a 35 min drive to the PF near my home because the store associate at this location made me feel so uncomfortable that I couldn’t finish my workout there. This man came at me aggressively, seemingly trying to pick a fight with me on whether or not I checked-in, even though he was sitting right there at the front desk when I came in. We literally made eye contact when I entered the building! Then he tries to go back and forth with me about this as If he didn’t believe me, he could’ve just checked the cameras. He didn’t even start the conversation with a hi, hello, nothing! Just straight unnecessary aggression. I felt so unwelcomed. I’ve never experienced anything like this at any other location. Yes, I am a black card member. Needless to say, I will never return to this location.

Showers were hot but no water pressure the workout equipment I used was fine. This place has the hydro beds that are all the way flat and also sit up ,but the older massage chairs. The place was clean. Two separate relaxed areas with couches that was different but only one of the TV's was working . The place was clean

My goto gym when I'm in the Atlanta/Duluth area. It's in a bigger shopping area with a Family Dollar (in case you forgot your snacks or energy drink), Laundromat (great for me since I have to wash while on the road) and now they have a CHIPOTLE! Which is my favorite post-workout meal!
