Going to a gym can be very nerve wracking but I have not felt any discomfort at Planet Fitness. The employees and welcoming and answer any questions I have. The bathrooms are always clean which is a big deal in this dirty bathroom world. The equipment is taken care of. I've been very pleased with my experience so far.

Hugh facility. Every machine you can think of to work out on or with. Free weights as well. At least 20 TV’s across the treadmill cycle area that you can plug in EarPods to listen to. Clean restrooms and showers. Friendly staff. Check-in is easy with app on phone. Lockers to secure your stuff.

On my first day there I was greeted by the front desk members, specifically the guy with the dark curly hair and glasses never fails to greet me, and I’m always given a farewell when leaving the gym. I believe it was on my third visit that I wanted to try the tanning bed out for the first time, and with no hesitation or judgement I was helped and guided with clear direction, specifically by the beautiful tall black girl with the long box braids. I wish I knew their names! I highly recommend this planet fitness, and I’m always trying to get a friend to go with me so they have the same experience I do! I was very nervous getting back into the gym due to having a child, and following that I ended up going through a very difficult time with post partum depression. My body hasn’t been the same since. The staff here never ceases to make me feel appreciated, and because of that I walk into the gym with confidence knowing that I will be noticed and helped upon my request.

It’s a great gym place. You can go work out. Get your energy out then turn around. Go sit in the side chair turn around and go get a tan. Take a shower and stab very friendly and knowledgeable. Classes could be better but overall I get a 10 out of 10.

9-6-23 After a 2 year membership at planet fitness, I have been at other planet fitnesses while I have traveled the last 2 years , I'd say 4 to 6 different ones. They are all nice, and clean and I could tell some older than others but clean. The recent planet fitness was in ATLANTA, I won't disclose which one in ATL but anyhow it had only been opened 5 months, the treadmills were older than the one I'm a member at in Milledgeville (been there for over 2 years) the treadmills were ok but the ones in Milledgeville are 125% better. Overall Milledgeville is the best one I've been at if that will help anyone out! Thanks

For the price you really can’t beat it. Everything is assisted they don’t have free benches for pressing. They do have a few benches and dumbbells out to use though. They only have a few machines so if you go when it’s peak time definitely expect to weight or share. They do offer extra with the monthly memberships most gyms don’t. I pay $25 a month that includes bringing a guest. I have access to tanning beds, massage chairs, half off most of their beverages full shower and locker room. Definitely a good gym for starting out at.

This is hands down the best gym I have ever been to! They keep it clean and smelling fresh from the moment you walk in the door. The locker room/bathroom area is spotless. There are plenty of machines to use and clear instructions on the machines. If I ever do have questions about an exercise or how to use a machine, the staff is more than willing to help with a smile on their face. It truly is a no judgement zone full of supportive people wanting you to succeed. Speaking of the staff, I genuinely believe they are what make this location the best. They work hard, clean consistently, and are more than willing to show you around the gym and help you feel more confident being there. The manager, Simmy, goes above and beyond for his guests. His positive attitude really reflects in the other staff members I have encountered! Highly recommend this gym.

It's never too crowded in this location, even at peak hours because there are plenty of treadmills, etc. to accommodate. The staff members are always smiling and friendly. And the facilities are kept very clean! Black Card benefits are great also! The only thing I could ask for would be group fitness classes such as Zumba, etc.

Torie is the best! I absolutely love her. When I came in I was very nervous about working out for the first time. Torie made sure I felt welcomed and she made my feel like I belonged. She walked me around and showed me all of the things that I was able to access with my black card membership. She is one of the nicest women I have ever met! I come between 3-4am every morning and Torie is always upbeat and alert. She speaks to everyone that comes in and it seems like that everyone knows Torie. Even my mom who recently joined the gym talks about how nice Torie is. Y’all are lucky to have her! She is the reason I keep coming every morning.

Firstly, let’s give the owner(s) a round of applause!! This location is one of the best places in Milledgeville. I know it’s a small city, but this PF screams diversity by the numbers. When I travel and desire to stay active, I always hit a nearby local PF. So following the course, I stopped in this PF for a quick workout and instantly became motivated to go the length this morning. I was greeted astonishingly at the door with such an excitedly warm welcome. Hell, I almost forgot my visiting purpose after standing at the front desk having some very amusing conversation with the soul of a lovely black woman that was staffed perfectly at the time of my visit. She was also the continued reason for my highly satisfying visit. Not to mention, the space is hugely user-friendly, with plenty of spotless new functional equipment. Again, shout out to the owner(s) and such beautiful, spirited staff. Joyfully, I used EVERY machine on the floor. 😂 I also used EVERY massage machine available. Hell, I even used the Tanning machine, and I am a Black man 😂 😂 Truthfully, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the gym cultural energy so much that I low-key did not want to leave. Man, oh man, what a fantastic way to start my Hump-Day!! I will be in town on business next week, and I will be back.
