1) They require access to your bank account even if you sign up using a card “ensure payment”. They advertise that you can cancel anytime and there is no obligation but yet they want to lock you in with access to your bank account even though it would be simple just to cancel membership for nonpayment.

2) Transgender bathroom policy: I inquired in person about their policy on transgenders in locker rooms and i was told they do not discriminate so if they identify as a female they are welcome to come in the female locker room.

So far I’m loving this location. It’s super clean, the staff cracks me up and are super nice, and every machine I’ve tried has been in perfect working order. No waiting around, no frustration. It also never feels overly crowded, which is a dream when you’re just starting your fitness journey, it’s beginner friendly without being intimidating.
My only con? The back area is hotter than Satans butt crack. They definitely need some airflow back there, fans, AC, something! If you struggle with heat intolerance, that could be a dealbreaker. But overall, it’s been such a positive and motivating place to start my journey.

I want to sincerely thank Olivia for her impressive knowledge of the Planet Fitness app and for clearly explaining how to adjust my account. After visiting two different Planet Fitness locations where employees couldn’t answer my questions, Olivia’s assistance was a breath of fresh air. I left with a clear understanding and confidence in managing my membership.
Additionally, I want to commend this facility for being exceptionally well-maintained and for having an incredibly friendly staff. As a Black Card member, I’m excited to visit this location more often!

Went in yesterday with my significant other, a black card member, so he could work out, and I could see if I could tan. Having been a black card member myself, I know guest perks vary by location, and thats fine. Thats not the issue. The almos shoulder length, wavy haired brunette girl with the lip ring just flat out said guests can't use the beds. Didn't say at this location like a proper employee would have, just said all I could do was work out. Didn't mention the $1 membership sale, and wouldn't even let me keep my purse, yet I needed to check in to simply sit in front of the desk/doors! My boyfriend had to drive me all the way back home, in tears over how rude, and just too lazy to even offer solutions, like telling me the current promotion like an employee that actually wants to do the job, not just the bare minimum just for the paycheck. The young man working with her barely said one word. My Greenville location let my guests tan too! Idk what they're issue was, but that was not how you explain the policies at a certain location vary, but saying only "Guests can't use amenities, just the equipment." I won't be back, and I'm gonna talk him into finding another gym. Your employees cost you a potential new member with that attitude. And I had the $1!

Cancelled my Black Card membership today because I went to buy something from the vending machine and it overcharged me $55 for an item I thought was $8. The machines flash the prices at you so fast you can't read them, BUYER BEWARE! It's very misleading. When I asked for a refund a manager in the back asked me for my credit card info and were going to take care of it, but then another manager named Olivia approached and said they wouldn't refund the money and could only quote policy at me and wouldn't budge. Forget that I had just purchased the item from them minutes before and it was unused. There is no humanity in this policy and I won't deal with a company that doesn't put it's customers first.

I love working out here but the heat is unbearable in back part of gym. Thermostat is never set below 71 yet temperature reads 75 or 76 degrees. I do cardio outside in summer so I have high tolerance for heat and I struggle because there is no air circulation in back part of facility. I have talked with management, asked for fans, and she said it was out of her control and that people “like to sweat when they workout”. I have seen employees with personal fans bc they are hot just doing their jobs, so there is obviously a problem. I wonder if it will take someone passing out and filing law suit to just get us some fans going back there?!!

MY MONTHLY FEES WERE WITHDRAWN ON JUNE 17TH. I WENT IN AND CANCELED JUNE 25TH!!!! IT'S NOT PRORATED AND NO REFUNDS!!!! I SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO THE FACILITIES FOR 3 MORE WEEKS! DON'T CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP UNTIL A FEW DAYS OF YOUR AUTO WITHDRAWN FEES.

Planet Fitness is small, cramped, and hot inside!!!! It's hard to find a parking place. And the area is very sketchy. Lock your car doors if you don't want to get robbed!

Update; Directly to the owner that responded to my email. I did as you asked and sent you an email. I actually emailed you twice. And if course, no response from you. 🙄 Figures. Not great customer service to not follow up on an extremely dissatisfied customer.

The new Planet Fitness in Newnan may be smaller than others I’ve visited, but it’s incredibly well-designed and makes great use of the space. I’ve enjoyed the treadmills, weights, and especially the Black Card perks—those massage chairs and the CryoLounge (hot + cold therapy!) are everything. Clean, efficient, and worth the visit!

I've been to this location about 10 times now, It's never crowded, it's always clean, the staff is nice (Olivia is TOP TIER), and the black card perks are great. The only thing I dont care for about planet fitness the use of shower curtains vs. doors, but if thats my only complaint then I'm Gucci. Keep up the good work guys.

After being targeted by a customer and having no proper resolution from management I would discourage anyone especially people of color from attending this gym. I will be canceling my membership ASAP ! I’d rather not have the option to workout overnight in a “judgement free zone” that obviously is judging and deciding whom to enforce rules on and whom not to enforce them upon. I’m one who usually doesn’t have problems with rules but if the rule makes little to no practical sense and is only being targeted at certain individuals then I would rather not participate with a business that operates in this fashion.

Can’t wear crocs here. Should have read the rules about shoes a little better but the fact they kicked me out mid way through my workout is a problem.
Also idk why but when u go to this gym for the first time you have to give them your I.d I did not have a good first experience and cancelled because of that. I don’t believe this place can offer the hospitality I expect.
