Was told I could tan my balance over due four days went to tan let me tan about 3 mins and shut it off and told I had to go my membership was over due. 1st of all I paid for a full year and then they take 40 a month out on top of telling me my account was over due..then made me stop tanning in three mins into the session and I couldn't be tanning. My account membership been paid and then they been taking out 40 a month on top of that. So it's very rude first of all to tell me one thing but on the other turn off the bed while I just
been there 4 mins. I do not recommend paying up front the membership⁶⁵⁵

Walked in the Gym today hoping to try out the facility with one of their members. Instead I was told right off the Bat everything I can't due. And then didn't even offer to talk with me about membership. When asked to speak with a manager I was told she's to busy and then oh she at another Gym. What a way to encourage new membership

I would not suggest a membership here. Or if you have one make sure you go in person and get something in writing when you cancel your membership. I tried calling to cancel, could never get anyone on the phone, after reading online it said I could come in the location to cancel or send in a letter. I sent a letter on March 3rd. The next month I was still charged. I tried contacting them but couldn’t get ahold of anyone. I contacted my bank and gave them all of the info and the letter and they allowed a dispute and blocked them from pulling from my account again. Then I got over $200 in charges on my credit card on file. I called corporate, finally got ahold of someone. They transferred me to the store and got the manager. She claims they never got the letter and told me I should have had it certified… I can guarantee this is all apart of why they want you to mail a letter. So they can claim they never got it and continue to charge you considering most people probably wouldn’t even notice. The manager said she could not refund that money, she said she could send it up to someone else to see about a refund but she said 100% of the time she does that it never gets approved to be refunded. We will be disputing it with the credit card company since no one here can do their job or take accountability for their mess ups. Anyone wanting to cancel don’t believe what it says online that you can just mail them a letter, make sure you go in the location and get in writing that it is canceled.

The woman’s restroom stinks like a public urinal. It was so filthy that I didn’t even want to use the restroom. It’s a shame that a locker/bathroom in a gym is that disgusting. I asked the front desk person how often it gets clean and he didn’t even know.

While the equipment is fine.. the staff overall is horrible. Rarely is there a smile on a face.. went for red light.. they set it at 3 minutes.. went back out all 4 staff standing talking backs to me never turned around.. one day you get 15 minutes in a chair the next 12 or less .. there no training or consistency.. beds are broken .. poor management and I'll probably get a caned reply with " we're disheartened " in it lol

Nice place. Massage chairs r my favorite. Plenty of nice clean workout machines. They have tanning beds, aqua massage, lockers, showers, water fountains and lots of TV screens with a variety of shows. Friendly employees. Nice clean environment. Only 4 stars because some screens weren't working on the stationary bikes and some of the stairs's TV wouldn't connect to the cable.

Clean and well kept. The ambient music is loud and overwhelmed my Bose noise canceling headphones. Customers routinely occupy exercise equipment as though it is their personal furniture, rudely using their cellphone and denying others the use of the equipment.

One of the worst gyms I've ever been associated with. They say they are the judgment free zone but that's a load of lies. They don't judge you if you're ok with being less than mediocre. The only thing they have going for them is their price. If you can afford more than ten dollars a month then I would suggest another gym. Heck, any other gym is better than planet fitness.

I work third shift rotating weekends and I joined because I thought it would be convenient and close to the house, but 70% of the time that I want to go train y'all are closed. I am a former member of Planet Fitness when I went to renew my membership I was told that they no longer are able to allow me to join without giving a router number from my checking account, which I don’t have. I really enjoyed going but now I’ll have to find somewhere else to work out. I’m so very disappointed.

My wife and I started a membership around Christmas last year. We have a location about 1.5 miles from our house, so we thought it would be convenient enough that we'd go...and we have! The place emphasizes cleanliness and they're right when they say it's a "no judgment zone." I'm not in great shape, but I never feel embarrassed or shamed while I'm there. The variety of machines they have makes it a great value also. Highly recommended.

I go here almost every day when I get off of work or when I have time before. I normally have to go at night due to my current shifts and buy and energy drink at the front desk, but last night I came across to having a conversation with the employee "James" and he was super friendly and I enjoyed talking to him and the conversation definitely eased my social anxiety and and fear of always going up to the desk to either check in or buy a drink.

Planet fitness in Rome, GA is exceptionally clean. The locker rooms are never dirty, and the staff is always super friendly. They say and wave hello and goodbye every time I come in! I was always scared of going to the gym because of the fear of being judged, but I can absolutely say I don't get judgment of any kind, not even glances. I've already lost a few inches because it's now my stress relief from work!

I absolutely luv this place!!! Great value and spacious area to workout and great workout machines. I enjoy the massage machine and total body toning machine and pay only 19.99 a month for everything. I think just get the massages that are so relaxing is worth that but gave so much more. Nice showers , restrooms and changing area..Very friendly and helpful staff. This is is the best fitness place Rome Georgia has ever had. I have been a member for a while and they always take out the right amount I agreed to out of my account. :)

Absolutely awful, I went in there because they were charging me late fees when their system had a issue. I didn't want to go to this gym anymore so they told me my subscription was cancelled and it was not!! Never got over $50 in fees refunded or my membership cancelled. They even disconnected the phone so you can't speak to anyone unless in person. Stay away from this place such a scam!!!
