We just joined and after two visits we are not disappointed. - update: love this place, the people are friendly and the workout and dressing rooms are clean. Updated 8/20/2025 having the sign-in scanner under the counter is silly. Update 10-16-25: this location closed for remodeling. The only notice we received was a note on the door. There was no email or other communications about the closure. Updated 11-17-25 turn over in personnel seems a bit high.

It's great for a shower when it's clean. Work out not so much which is pretty much what I use it for now between shifts. My personal business is not C.J. Evans or the staff's some of which are better at minding their own business than others or requesting additional fees besides your monthly and membership that I have paid for years. If C.J. needs money please bill me. I will donate a fee to you since I was rudely singled out this morning. I hope you are asking everyone else coming into your gym with paid memberships to pay you more and not just certain people. Your manager on shift could not provide anything in writing in a contract that says I need to pay you or do anything different but if you can provide that for your location just bill me like the franchise does and I will pay that too. P.s. there are a network of gyms for a monthly fee besides PF. And also AF tailors to your specific needs. Hotworx and Club Pilates are amazing with Pilates being the most expensive. I no longer have a home gym or pilates machine.

No apple watch compatibility.
They have the weight machines that i prefer, not a bad layout, all the black card extras. Wasnt busy but it was a sunday that i went. Treadmills arent like other locations ive visited, the buttons for incline and speed are placed near the heart rate sensors which is actually better for adjustments while keeping proper form IMO. Auto incline did not work. Pretty big building, very clean.

I joined Planet Fitness in late April with one goal in mind: to get in shape before shipping out to Navy boot camp this September. When I first started, I couldn’t do a single push-up, had weak balance, and struggled with even light weights. Fast forward three months, and the transformation has been incredible.. I can now do the push-ups required to pass my test, lift much heavier weights, and my core strength and balance have improved tremendously. My body has visibly changed, and my mood and confidence have skyrocketed!

A huge shoutout to my personal trainer, Williams, who worked with me consistently and pushed me to reach my goals. His guidance and motivation played a major role in preparing me to become a U.S. Navy Sailor.

The gym itself is always clean, with plenty of equipment, plus great amenities like massage chairs and hydromassage. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I genuinely enjoy coming here.

If you’re looking for a supportive gym to reach your fitness goals, I highly recommend Planet Fitness, and if you can, train with Williams!

I joined Planet Fitness in July 2024 after having quadruple bypass. I hadn't worked out in years but had to do it for my health. I started working with Williams the trainer
4-5 days a week. He is so motivating I wouldn't do anything if he didn't motivate me. He makes it fun but I get a good workout. Planet Fitness should promote free training most people don't know it's free.

Do NOT go here. I went in person to cancel membership a few times (because they tell you to do that after calling) and while they confirmed they did cancel, I continued to get charged. After speaking with the terrible regional manager, CJ, he said he would “watch the footage” of me coming in as if I was lying.

After, he told me he would refund me within a day. I called so many times after and they just lie and won’t refund you. The management is horrendous!

Make sure if you plan to cancel, that you get an email verification because the kids working the counter just flat out act like they know what they’re doing when they don’t. Even if they screw up, don’t ever expect a refund from this branch as they happily take your money.

I signed up because the price was affordable and the gym looked clean at first glance. But after a few visits, I started noticing a lack of maintenance—several machines were either out of order or not functioning properly for weeks. The staff wasn’t very helpful or engaged, and it didn’t feel like they took member concerns seriously. The gym gets overcrowded during peak hours, and there’s no real system to manage it. Decent for a quick workout if you’re in the area, but I expected better upkeep and service.

The restroom are a big negative, it's not cleaned and stinks.. Plus the black membership features like massage beds are out of order

I've been to a number of gyms through my 62 years. My experiences at Planet Fitness in Roswell have been top-notch. The staff is very professional, and takes the time to say hello and goodbye by name. The equipment, locker rooms, and workout areas are spotless. All one could ask for in a gym. Lots of top equipment all either new or in perfect repair. Free weights and other exercise apparatus.
2) open 24X5 plus 12 hours weekends.
3) cleanest facility I've ever seen. That includes especially the restrooms and showers
4)extras like massage machines and suntan booths.
5) national member privledges with premium level membership which is < $1/day. Regular membership is very affordable. Great value.
6)Low key, open accepting atmosphere. No judgement sorta place and no need to get pretty to workout..come as you are and enjoy the good vibes/video/tunes. All ages welcomed and represented.
7)Last, and hardly least, just the nicest folks work there you can imagine. Always helpful, always a smile and friendly greeting..even trainers available for no extra fee if you want advice or help.

I've been a PF hater for about 10 years. However, trying this location has changed my mind. The equipment is clean, the staff was friendly, the equipment moves very nicely and is organized. The bathrooms are nice and options for massage are great. The only complaint I have is one of the massage chairs broke when I started it yesterday to where the seat cover tore off and pulled on me but the staff immediately put a broken sign on it so that was good.

Ive been putting off going back to p/f since covid. Finally got motivated to go back! Wow what a transformation with new state of the art equipment, and a clean atmosphere. Ladies at the front desk Aniya and another child they have working there are super combative and rude when asking to speak to the manager. I have been waiting on a refund for over 30 days and all I get told are more and more stories and to call back but every time I do a teenager answers the phone and screens all of the managers calls like he’s the president. The manager is a position not the owner of the gym and to be lied to over and over to avoid paying the $50 is despicable . This isn’t the only location who hires teens with an authority problem. CJ obviously isn’t going to do what he said he’s gonna do and he’s got his little minions at the desk to keep him at a distance . I really thought the world of this gym , but now I see it’s a terrible run business who have no honor in keeping their word to the customer who was there a year.

Black Card membership includes a trainer M-F at no additional charge. You can't beat that. Facility is always clean and now that everyone wants to be outdoors to enjoy the Spring weather, there's no wait for a machine. 24 hours M-Th is a huge plus as I tend to have urges to run late at night. Unless you know you never want to leave this gym ... EVER, find another gym membership that isn't overly challenging to cancel. I needed to cancel my agreement since changing jobs. My contract stated I could deliver notification in person OR PREFERABLY VIA MAIL. I mailed my notice three times. Finally when I called, they said I had to come into the center to cancel. Online it says I can move my membership ... ONLINE. But when I try, it says to contact my store for any changes. It shouldn't be so complicated to simply stop a subscription UNLESS YOU WANT TO DELIBERATEY MAKE IT OVERLY BURDENSOME TO STOP. Thus, my feedback.

I was also told on the phone that I could move my membership and go into the new store nearby to cancel. Then they said the manager would have to do that and would call me back. Never happened.

Just like all the other gyms, they just want your money. No customer service number, just to be told on the website to call your home club. All I wanted to do is update my billing information on my account online but my old account was showing up. He was rude, to the point I asked to just cancel. He told me I would have to come in to cancel. Didn't care about anything I said and just kept repeating 'you have to come in' like...like a robot. I asked for his name 3 times and he finally hung up on me. It also has my home club two hours away at my old address.

1. I went there to sign up with the $1 down offer and use my friend’s referral too. There was a lady who helped me signup. She said nothing about the referral after I repeatedly asked her to use it. She signed me up with no referral.

2. I asked how much the annual payment was and when it gets debited. SHE HAD NO CLUE about any of that, neither did she show any interest in finding out.

3. I called the next day to find out about all the payments, like the annual fee and the membership plans etc. also to ask why the referral I asked for was not used. I’m not sure if it was the same woman who signed me up but the way she talked was ridiculous!! She kept telling me hm that she cannot understand the word “referral” after making me repeat it for 6-7 times. After which I found out she was just being racist. Says she can’t understand my accent when I in fact speak just fine.

And finally, I had to cancel my membership after just 1 day of joining. The staff is just BAD!!!

UPDATE!!!

So after I cancelled my membership the day after I registered, my card was still getting charged. I went to the location to check it out. They say… no one cancelled my membership and it was not noted down on the paper. Like…. Really??? I’ve read multiple reviews about people having the same issue. Now they say refund may take multiple weeks because they have to check the CC camera if I was actually there to cancel my subscription. This is pure nonsense. NEVER GOING TO PLANET FITNESS AGAIN!!!!

The community, honesty and overall acceptance is awesome here. Our neighborhood gym had been closed for renovation so I had to go to Planet Fitness for free for a year. I am so lucky, it is only 2 stop lights from our place. This location has very nice and friendly employees and members. The place is very big with LOTS of new equipments, it is very neat and clean. New Cardio Equipment!!!
wow!! fantastic yall!! I love the new cardio equipment and the upgrade. It is wonderful having this super clean, comforting and affordable fitness/wellness center in the Roswell community. The staff is exceptional at customer service and always willing to assist. getting my days in are still a challenge but it helps having such a spectacular place to practice being consistent..lol

They had a good number of smith machines, and they had plenty of weight plates for each of them. I have found that to be a rarity, so good marks for that.
