Title: Great Facility, But Ongoing Harassment and Discrimination by Certain Members
Review:
Iโve been a Planet Fitness member for some time and truly appreciate the companyโs mission of being a โJudgment Free Zone.โ The facility itself is clean, well-equipped, and affordable โ qualities I value. However, my experience at this particular location has been overshadowed by repeated incidents of harassment and discrimination from certain staff and members.
A number of individuals โ primarily white members, along with a few younger Black members โ have continuously slandered me, made false assumptions about my employment status, and spread untrue stories that damage my character. Their behavior is intrusive, disrespectful, and completely contradictory to the values Planet Fitness promotes. Iโve also experienced repeated violations of personal space and civil rights, as well as constant judgment and hostility without cause.
I have raised my concerns multiple times with both local management and the corporate customer service department. While management has been polite, the discriminatory behavior and targeted harassment persist. It is extremely disheartening to endure this in a place that publicly claims to support inclusion and acceptance.
The facility itself deserves praise โ but unfortunately, the toxic behavior of certain individuals makes what should be a positive environment very uncomfortable. I hope Planet Fitness corporate takes these reports seriously and enforces stronger accountability measures to ensure all members are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of background, race, or personal situation.

As always, this planet fitness was clean and the people polite. They just need to get a sign for the 30 PF Express area so that people understand it better. Some people get in your way when you're trying to do a quick workout and you have to take time to explain it to them so they can go to the purple machines instead of using the yellow ones. ๐

I'm a relatively new member. Great location, never overcrowded, and plenty of machines. My big negative is that 99% of people ( especially the rotund ones, don't wipe down their machines after they've sat on them for 10 minutes updating Facebook & Instagram.

This gym is ran efficiently and they keep the equipment pretty clean. They do need to educate the members that come in and go into the 30-minute Express workout and don't follow the rules. People lounge around on the phone sometimes and interrupt the actual circuit. They need more signage to reserve that area like other planet fitness's.

The facility is clean and the staff nice. The issue is with the new member orientation or any sort of training. They apparently donโt have enough staff for months out. You couldnโt even get a new member orientation. This was the Highway 92, Alabama Rd., Roswell, GA location.

Excellent introductory meeting and tour and signup procedure ... me through Medicare membership and wife regular then upgraded to Black Card ... machines all appear brand new and work well and easy to get help if needed ... relatively low occupancy is very nice and emphasis on non-competitiveness and absence of steroid-muscle-head types very good too ... overall experience excellent ...

The reason I really like and enjoying going there is the team/staff members! They are terrific, and great representatives for PF brand!. I have never gone to a fitness/gym or really wanted to. I had an injury that has not been pleasant. I have had to have a lot of physical fitness therapy that was Doctor recommended. It ends after this week after 3+ months. I need more, but I want my own I direct, Planet Fitness is my answer. My conception of these fitness centers was wrong. I felt much much better when I walked in. Eric, the manager, was easy going and a great guy. The staff I have met are the same. They show you how to operate the equipment, etc. I could not ask for more. I love this place! My preconceptions were wrong, thank goodness. It is what I need. Thanks to Eric! RJ

It's a convenient location, clean and well lit. Love the natural light and high ceiling in the gym. Chris is the free personal trainer. His workouts are great and keep me motivated. I also love the Beauty Angel red light therapy machine with the vibration plate, which is not at every location.

It's a great option close to Highlands Loop. Excellent staff, very friendly and willing to help with the newest and most effective equipment to generate a change in your body in a short time. It has circuits that allow you to train all the muscles in 20 min. I love it !

The way the staff treats members and present themselves needs improvement.
When I entered the gym, the staff on site were lazing around and sitting on top of the desks.
When I asked to use the hydro massage bed, the staff rudely questioned why I didnโt know how to use it and condescendingly explained how to use it after.
The gym equipment is adequate . The variety and condition of the equipment is diverse and maintained appropriately.

I made the switch over to planet fitness after I decided to cancel my membership at lifetime fitness. I really like how there's not a bunch of people in there so I don't have to wait on doing anything. Everything's clean and a good condition. My only complaint is the lack of free weights. Really needs to have a freestanding branch and squat rack or two. Besides that I don't think you're going to find much better for the money.

I was close to leaving to join a diff gym as I wanted more one on one help and more community feeling, but Can I say how much difference the right trainer can make? Chris is awesome. He thinks up the routines on his toes, makes accommodations for me and keeps us all engaged and inspired so much that many of us tackle multiple classes each day. I love the workouts with Chris the trainer, he encourages me to push myself harder and he keep the workouts fun. The facility is always clean and I love that I can use the massage chairs and beauty angel everyday with my black card membership. Ruby and Elizabeth at the front desk are always so nice and friendly every day I come in. The whole gym is super clean, I see the staff clean everyday. The massage chairs and bed are phenomenal. I do take class with the trainer Monday-Friday and it's always a great workout. If you are interested in losing weight and gaining some muscle ๐ช definitely try a class or two. The trainer Chris is so knowledgeable and friendly, not intimidating for beginners. Everything is tailored to your ability. I am disabled and he give me a good balance of exercises.

I do enjoy going to this gym everyday, but they are starting to slack off on their cleanliness. After several times asking for them to clean their body enhancement bed, they are still disgusting. We notice they donโt clean their tanning beds either. Only 1 outta 3 sinks work in the womenโs bathroom to wash our hands. Also the cable machines are sometimes unusable. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is ok.
