Buckle up Buttercups, this is gonna be a long review! I believe context is important. Writing this review 3 months after starting.

So I am 33 years old and I was diagnosed nearly 20 years ago with a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It's a complicated and variable disorder, but basically I have weak joints and can easily injure myself if I move improperly. Because of this, I have lived my life carefully - never played sports, never worked out, kept anything extreme to a minimum. I've also been pretty thin my whole life, so I never felt the need to work out. Well, now as I start to get a little older, I feel my joints starting to stiffen and the weight has started to creep up. I follow several EDS experts who actually recommend basic fitness routines. The thought being to build a little muscle to support the weak joints and prevent injury. So I made the mental choice to start, but GAH WAS THAT OVERWHELMING! Where do I begin when I know nothing? How do I not hurt myself? How do I stay motivated? I knew I'd fail on my own. Which is where RRPT comes in!

I first found them by driving by, I conveniently live quite close. I saw on their website that they provide free consultations, so I called mid January 2025. Daniel answered the phone and I explained that I was looking for a trainer to help me navigate the basics of starting fitness, while also being conscious of my EDS and pain. He heard me out and said that he'd relay my info to the owner, Laurie-Ann, and she'd call me back. Fully expecting it to be a day or two, she happened to call me back like 30min later. I explained my condition and goals, and I think we spoke for a good 45min to hour BEFORE even coming in for a consult.

Lucky for me, Laurie-Ann had experience with a couple others with EDS and lots of clients with injuries. This gave me the trust I needed to pick them as my trainer/gym. The in-person consult a few days later was also in depth and fully realized expectations on both sides. I was given a nutrition plan to help me achieve my goals. I go to 3 classes a week - 2 group and 1 solo, plus 3 cardio days. And they do the planning and thinking for me - which I LOVE! I can focus on learning form and basic movements, without also having to remember everything else at the same time.

It also feels very personal, it's a very small gym. Everyone knows each other and I've started building friendships! And I don't have to feel so self conscious like I know I would at a large public gym. And now that I'm 3 months in, I'm seeing and feeling progress! I don't have much weight to lose, but I already feel healthier. I feel a little stronger too, even with my slower/lighter training (to prevent injury).

I don't think any personal training program is "cheap", but I think for what I get out of RRPT, it's worth it. Hard to put a price on feeling great! I'm looking forward to maintaining my journey at RRPT and will absolutely tell more friends about them.

I'm in LOVE with this gym. The tight knit relationships between everyone in the gym truly makes it feel like a welcoming family where everyone motivates each other and pushes one another to reach their goals! The hands on training is unmatched! All the trainers really make me feel comfortable and are focused on proper form while also pushing me to the limits in order for me to reach my goals fast! I told Laurie-Ann that I wanted to gain weight and muscle and in 2 months I've already started seeing so much change in my body and am obsessed with the progress. I can't wait to continue with Rapid Results and see what is really possible to achieve in my fitness journey!

Worth every penny!!! LaurieAnn, Leslie, Daniel, and Rob are all amazing trainers and dedicated to helping you get your goal. While the classes are tough, the trainers are right there and HANDS ON to make sure you can get the work done and be safe. Consistently showing up leads to results and the trainers are wonderful with helping you stay accountable. Since joining in November I have lost 20 pounds by end on January despite the holidays. On top of all that the members are wonderful and make a supportive community, first time ever in the gym or long time gym goer this is a great and comfortable place to be.

Went there for a session this past week and my legs are still sore. Great environment and staff that clearly cares about your goals and progress. I have 2 family members that also go to this gym and I've seen first hand how much progress they have made. I as someone who normally goes to commercial gym, this gym is nothing like them in the best way possible. Very tight knit and close group of people that make this gym feel very welcoming. I cannot recommend this gym enough.

Rapid Results made a tremendous difference in my daughter’s life after her surgery. My daughter had a large area of her spin fused. After surgery she was sedentary for months and picked up some bad eating habits. Then came Laurie, at Rapid Results.

She created a personal training regimen and a nutritional program that was perfect for my daughter. Laurie took into consideration my daughter’s physical limitations and provided alternatives so she could achieve her core strengthening goals. She also achieved her desired weight goal!

First of all. Thank you to everyone at RRPT for helping me transform my body. It's a difficult journey but if you do the work eating right and exercising the way the trainers recommend you will definitely have the results your looking for. The more dedication and and effort you put in the better the results will be period. But you have to do the work!!! The gym is clean and beautiful. All the trainers are well informed and professional. The hit exercises are effective. Everyone I know can tell the difference in my shape family, friends, co -workers can tell the difference. This place is amazing! Today is August 24th and I’ve already lost 22 pounds since June and have simultaneously gotten stronger. Aesthetically, I look better every day.

The crazy thing is, I am not new to the fitness world. I was a personal trainer and Marine, but had let myself slip. What I found here was an incredible support system, the highest level of accountability, and trainers that are more knowledgeable than any other gym I have worked at.

It’s definitely been a life changing experience.

EDIT: On June 8th, 2024 I ran my first Ultra Marathon (32 miles), which is a distance I never thought was possible before coming here. With the help of the RRPT "Strength Class", I was not only able to run that distance, but maintained my peak strength while undergoing the rigorous daily running.

I’m obsessed with RRPT and I definitely recommend. My husband and I joined so we could get back into a healthy lifestyle but we needed help getting there.

We struggled to hold ourselves accountable and as a result, we gained weight and we weren’t making good food decisions. So, we started looking for a trainer or gym that could provide enough structure for us to achieve our goals but wouldn’t cost me a first born child. Well, we called RRPT!

We came in for a consultation and immediately felt at home (seriously!). The environment was welcoming and motivating, and that feeling has stayed the same since. We ended up signing up for personal training, group classes, and nutrition. It was the best decision we’ve made!!!

Daniel has been my trainer for my 1:1 sessions and I have learned so much in those sessions. He has helped me learn about my form (to give a more effective workout and prevent injury), how to control my breathing, and he motivates me to push when I feel like giving up. Without Daniel, I wouldn’t have made as much progress in the time I have. In <2 months, I’ve lost 12+ pounds and 2%+ body fat. My mental health is better, and my body feels better/stronger/faster.

The RRPT family is so encouraging, inspiring, and there’s no judgment when you do silly things (I do something goofy by accident in every class and they don’t judge me for it hehe). In addition, the group classes are a blast. Leslie typically leads classes and Daniel is always there to help guide us along. They both do a great job helping us realize when we can push our limits even further. The classes are engaging, always different, and you can walk away feeling like you accomplished something.

All in all, I freaking love this place and I would recommend RRPT all day long. Laurie, Daniel, and Leslie, thank you so much for what you do!!!! See you tonight for kettlebell class 😜

I've been on a journey to lose weight for a while, and it's often felt like an uphill battle. But since joining Rapid Results Personal Training, things have finally started to click. In just 6 weeks, I've lost about 15 lbs, and today marks my third weigh-in! The classes are absolutely amazing – everyone is supportive and welcoming, making it a fantastic environment to work out in. This is the full package, where you’ll get group fitness, personal training, and a full diet program with frequent weigh-ins and other fitness goals tracking on key milestones.

One of the things I appreciate most is their focus on safety. I always feel well-supervised and know that I'm getting stronger in a safe and structured way. RRPT is an amazing gym. My parents both go to this gym and have seen amazing results. Seeing them have a healthy life inspired me and RRPT was the obvious choice. I was weak and fragile physically and mentally after 4 years as caregiver to my beautiful mother who had Altzeimers. After she peacefully passed in March with all of her family with her, I knew I needed a safe and supportive environment to take care of me.

I joined RRPT in May. My trainer, Leslie Fagan, is supportive and kind yet pushes me safely to my limits. She creatively modifies classes and strength training for me so I can get results and avoid injury.

To date, I am stronger and have more vitality. I've regained my confidence and am healthy and leaner and have lost 25lbs, and I'm not done yet.

RRPT is a very organized and welcoming program. Being a teenager it’s very helpful to have set workouts and tons of classes to choose from to participate in. Self motivation has always been a struggle for me, but everyone’s main goal here is to push you beyond what you think you can do. I loved coming to bootcamp classes and always pushing myself as well as doing fun exercises. I’ve always had a hard time with food and eating properly but their nutrition plan really helped me figure out what’s an ideal diet. I’m also very shy but everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and apart of the program.

The most welcoming gym I've ever been to! From the moment that you walk through the door they are interacting with you with great upbeat attitudes. They remembered my name from the first day that I came through the door. This meant lot to me. I was unsure of the whole gym experience, and this made me feel very comfortable. I never imagined how close I would become to the staff. It really is a family experience. My Story is that of a middle-aged family man looking for a replacement to the dad bod. The great training staff along with a great nutrition plan help me achieve my goals. I lost 40 pounds and 10% body fat in four months! The great experience resulted in my wife and teenage son joining the program. We lost a combined 150 pounds! The family now has fun being active together, and spending time together at the gym. I would highly recommend this gym to all types of people. It does not matter your experience level or age. The gym has quality equipment and is kept spotless and sanitized. At Rapid Results workouts are tough, diet guidelines are very strict and supervision is every step of the way. End results are wonderful. I have lost weight, gained strength and have improved in my endurance level.

Very happy with my results. I’ve been here about 6 months and have lost 30 lbs so far. I could’ve lost more. But, I vacation a TON. I’ve have been out for about 6 weeks of that time. I am so glad I found this place. I’ve struggled for years with chronic back pain and it has impacted my ability to exercise. Best gym that I have ever been to! The trainers at RRPT actually care about your goals and progress. I have seen so much growth in my endurance and strength ever since joining this gym. The workouts are TOUGH and the trainers will push you to your limits, but in the end I saw so much improvement in not only my physical ability but also my self-discipline. Even though it's a small gym, the variety of equipment they have is more than most of the commercial gyms out there. You can instantly tell that the owners deeply care about their clients health and wellness. RRPT is like a big wonderful family!! Laurie, Vince, Ryan... They were incredibly supportive and effective in helping my husband and I reach our goals. I worked with Laurie through my entire pregnancy and minimized weight gain to the bare minimum. It made my pregnancy and birth SO easy and wonderful. At the same time my husband lost 30 lbs. I'm a 70 year old woman with Parkinson's and osteoporosis. I'm so excited I found rapid results personal training, because the trainers are amazing! Vincent and Laurieann have been very attentive to my needs. They helped me deal with my Parkinson's so that I can train like anyone else in the gym. At first I was nervous because I had never worked with a personal trainer before, but they showed me that no matter what your health situation or condition, they have the knowledge to help you overcome it. Ken has also been important part of my program, giving me the extra care and concern that I need. I have accomplished things I never thought would be possible for me, and everyone in the gym treats me like a member of their family. I originally planned on doing 6 months, but now I just don't want to leave!

I do abs class, pump and grind class, and two personal sessions weekly. I highly recommend this gym even if you're an older adult, don't let age hold you back!

I'm a hard gainer that struggled to put on weight my entire life. Rapid Results issued me a nutrition plan and it helped me break out of my weight plateau. I gained 15 pounds of muscle in the process. Their fitness classes are great! My favorite class is the Strength Class because it helps me put on muscle mass. The trainers are keen to detail and will put you in correct form when performing the excercises. RRPT is great place to train to push you to the next level!

The overall gym experience is unlike any I have been apart of. Take the classes, for instance. I've attended classes where there is one instructor teaching an active group of 50+ and many of the participants didn't receive the optimal benefits from the class due to poor form, inexperience, and lack of attention/correction. At RRPT, there is a cap put on the number of participants allowed in each class. Also, there are other trainers circulating, assisting the teacher of the class, to ensure all clients are utilizing perfect form and getting the most from the exercises being taught. With this attention to detail, the probability of client injury is drastically reduced and the desired physical results are expedited and achieved. Keep up the GREAT work RRPT in assisting clients on their journey of transformation!

I’ve been at this gym 7 years now. I’ve stayed for several reasons. I got my initial results years ago and am still seeing changes I never imagined possible for me. I have muscle definition that complete strangers have complimented me on! In my 50s I can wear a bikini and feel confident in it.
Over the years I have gotten to know the owner Laurieann. She has been a source of inspiration to me and my teenage son, who also trains at RRPT. She is working with him on his goals of weight and muscle GAIN. She makes time to talk with him and understand his life. This has led to a very successful experience for my son by showing him she truly cares for him and not just his results. (His results, by the way, are amazing.)

I had my daughter enrolled at RRPT for almost a year...Laurie Anne and the trainers take special care of children's needs. The children are treated with respect and never talked down to...The parents are involved in the program as well as the child, they get a say in what classes they take, we as parents just make sure they arrive to their training sessions and classes.

I have been going to to Rapid Results for just over 18 months...I can't say enough good about the trainers and how they care for individuals and their needs. I am 44 and have been overweight my entire life, and obese as far as body fat. I finally had enough and decided to walk in and told Laurie Ann I need help. She sat down with me and explained the program and I was sold...In my short time I have gone from a couch potato to someone who loves going to the gym. I still have a long way to go but RRPT has set me on the right course, I was 225, 5' 8", and 36% body fat and miserable...I owe my life to these guys!!

Laurie (part owner) thought it was okay to tell my 13 year old son after I left the facility to speak up more towards me. Not only does this undermine what I instill into my children, but it is also completely unprofessional. It makes you wonder what else is said when parents drop their children off here...After I was told this by my child I came up to facility to discuss it and she proceeds to yell while standing over me and waiving her hands in my face as I’m sitting down. This was completely unprofessional as an individual and business owner. She never took accountability for her statement to my son which ultimately led to me pulling him from program. If you can’t accept accountability then that speaks volumes about your character or lack there of. I sent email and mailed letter stating he would no longer be in program with no response from Laurie ( again lack of professionalism). I would not recommend sending your children here.

Shortly after, I started my own program so I could work on building muscle on top of the high intensity cardio I get from bootcamp. Marco is an incredible, very knowledgeable trainer and is going to keep pushing you toward the next level (btw ladies he’s single). The atmosphere is great and I have never met another trainer as high energy and excited about working out as Ryan Esposito. During my time working out here I was able to cut my body fat while gaining muscle mass. I am in the best shape of my life and have had a great time training at RRPT.

I am a right arm amputee which has always made finding workout and weight training plans difficult. But when the scale showed 250 I had to do something about it. MY BACKGROUND:

I’m a 21 year old male who’s always been somewhat skinny fat. I enjoy skiing, mountain biking, occasional unicycling, and rock climbing but all only at a recreational level.

Despite my activities (rock climbing up to 3 days a week for a year or mountain biking every week) my strength still felt limited and I was carrying extra unneeded fat. I tried to work out at a gym but I found it my lack of knowledge limiting. As a result I stuck mostly to machines, dumbbells, and steady state cardio and made no progress.

QUICK OVERVIEW:

As a result of my training with RRPT I’ve gained a substantial amount of knowledge regarding proper form, nutrition, goalsetting, and exercise programming (sets, reps, weight, iso holds, etc.) I lost something like 3% body fat in 3 months and 10 or more pounds of fat. Lauriann, Todd, Marco, and everyone else are all excellent. Lauriann is extremely meticulous and goes out of her way to get you results. I gained strength and I never felt/looked so good and best of all I’ve been given the impetus to continuously work out on my own for many months since. I don’t plan on quitting anytime soon.

DETAILS:

Classes and sessions:
I took 3 classes and 1 personal training session. Additionally I filled in for bootcamp several times.

In my personal training sessions I would learn a lot about proper form at first. As soon as proper form was achieved then the sessions got more difficult. Laurieann, Marco, and Todd really know how and when to push you for you to get your best results. I was taught many, many variantions of barbell, cable, dumbbell, machine, and bodyweight exercises. They keep detailed records of your progress and your weight goals.

Classes I took range from intense hour long ab classes, 1.5 hour long intense cardio, legs, core focused bootcamp class, hour long Pump and Grind class which consists of high intensity weight training mixed with cardio (hour long), and my favorite class strength class. Strength class is a 12 week partner program focusing on low reps and heavy weight. It’s professionally structured to give you the most gains for the muscle groups chosen.

A cardio benchmark is conducted initially to build you a HIIT program for cardio. You do cardio on your own and are accountable to a trainer to sign off on it.

A detailed, customized nutritional program is given to you to help you reach your goals. Lauriann even had me send food pictures to be accountable.

SUMMARY:

If your looking to improve your life, learn valuable skills such as workout technique, self-control, and discipline, work hard alongside a family of regular clients and trainers who’ve been there for years, and have fun while doing it, RRPT will give you what you’re looking for.

I went in to RRPT out of curiosity. When I saw all the before and after pictures of so many clients of all ages and backgrounds with incredible results I realized that its not TOO late for me even at 70, so I boldly asked the trainer "what can you do with this?" Surprisingly she was not frazzled by my question but rather went on to tell me EXACTLY what we could accomplish. I became interested, intrigued and excited as I had not thought it was possible to look that good again! I signed up after thinking it over.
I don't want to deceive anyone into thinking it was easy! At 70 this was a great challenge but it was well worth it! I am now known as "HOT Geni" here and never in million years did I think that would be my 70 year old nick name! It's a little embarrassing, but flattering as well! I weighed 134 and had a body fat of almost 40 % at 5'3 when I started and now I just weighed in at the doctor yesterday at 119 lbs. and 34% body fat. I came to Rapid Results to strengthen the muscles around my knee due to surgery. At 58 I was also hoping to lose some weight in the process. I was really nervous about working out on my knee with the pain I was experiencing as I did not want to further injure myself. I had a referral to them so I already knew that they had a reputation for being great trainers. I am glad I chose to train because I have been able to work for several years with them now with little to no discomfort in my knee and it has allowed me to continue my love of playing tournament softball. My husband and I signed up because we are in our 70's and needed to gain some strength and flexibility to overcome stiffness and achy joints as well as some needed weight loss! We were somewhat hesitant due to our age and joint pain as to whether we were candidates for personal training and whether we could afford a program on our budget. However we were pleasantly surprised to learn that RRPT specializes in helping older adults in our situations and health conditions and has senior discounts as well as doubles programs and group fitness available to make the cost more affordable! This worked for us!

During the consultation LaurieAnn was able to map out our goals despite our health concerns and physical restrictions. We were thrilled that our trainers at RRPT were very accommodating and seemed genuinely interested in helping us to do this! It was nice to see that our trainers were success oriented trainers who were very determined to achieve results with us even though we came in thinking we were hopeless cases!

We were also given a complete cardio plan that was created around our injuries and physical limitations and we each received our own notebook to detail our specific programs within the gym! (I really loved that notebook as it seemed more personal and now I could also track my progress.) We were also given a nutrition plan though I must admit we were not as excited about following it at our stubborn ages! We did make efforts and are now eating organic, drinking WATER instead of sweet drinks and are making better food choices and losing weight!

Where to begin? I’m a father of two elementary school kids and have never been very athletic. A little over a year ago, I got a body fat test which revealed I was overweight with 30% body fat. I was in worse shape than I thought.
I decided to do something about the extra weight, so I cut back on extra portions of food, limited the intake of desserts and started a walking routine. Within four months I had dropped 20 pounds. I looked and felt better, so it was time for another body fat test. The good news was that I was no longer overweight. The worse news was that although I lost fat, I lost nearly the same amount of muscle. My body fat percentage had barely changed. I became frustrated and decided to get some help. It took a couple of failed attempts, but I finally found RRPT.
I walked up to the gym and the first thing I noticed was the “Before and After” pictures plastered on the windows. They included ordinary people of all ages that had transformed their bodies in a short amount of time. Their results looked pretty amazing. I walked in and met LaurieAnn, the owner of RRPT and asked for some information about the gym. We talked for a little while and I told her my background and what I was looking for. She recommended a consultation for the following the week. The consultation was very encouraging. The most pleasant surprise was that LaurieAnn remembered everything from our earlier discussion and had some ideas on how to meet my goals.
Here is where RRPT shines; they take the time to evaluate your current condition and come up with a customized plan to meet your goals. I wanted to decrease my body fat percentage, so my plan required weight training, lots of cardio, a cross train class and most importantly a nutrition plan.
In my case, poor nutrition was sabotaging my goals. I didn’t eat enough food which caused my body to start burning muscle for energy. I became “Skinny Fat”. The customized nutrition plan had me eating more of the right kinds of food and avoiding the bad snacks that are advertised as healthy.
Everyone that joins gets a customized cardio plan and a series of cards with instructions. At other gyms, I would hop on a machine for 30 minutes and be done. At RRPT they show you how to use the equipment and specific combinations of machines and settings to help you meet your goal. Later in the program you get another cardio evaluation and an upgraded cardio plan.
On to the weight training. I’ve worked with three of the personal trainers - Todd, Randrell and Bobby. Each of them are very encouraging and push me further than I could have ever imagined. Even though I work with different trainers, they all keep track of my progress and are ready to go when I get there. I’ve had personal trainers in the past that guided me through workouts, but never recorded my workout progress or had a consistent plan for my goals. The RRPT trainers are amazing! I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me.
The Results: After starting the program at RRPT, friends and coworkers started commenting on my weight change. Three months later and I have dropped over 6% of my body fat and am now healthier than I have been in years.
Now that I have surpassed my original goal to decrease body fat, I am starting a new program to gain muscle. Because this is a new program, the trainers will be monitoring my progress and making adjustments as needed. I’m looking forward to the results.

Have been working with Rasaun Rorie at Rapid Results for nine months - he is fantastic trainer and fun to work out with as well. Am 52 years old and when I started was 217lb and size 42" pants (25% or more body fat) - borderline obese with major health issues including blood pressure and cholesterol. Now am 190 pounds and size 34" pants (17% body fat) and no longer taking blood pressure and cholesterol medication. Took my blood pressure today it was 120/79.

Hit my target weight of 190 pounds in the first 3 months and got to about 19% body fat (dropped to size 36" pants). Have progressively worked on improving strength and endurance since then. Fitness is a long term commitment not a quick fix.

I struggled with severe asthma for last 4 years to the extent that it damaged 30% of my lungs. Popping steroids every couple of months had become a way of life. No matter how much I tried, it was very difficult for me to manage any physical activity be it climbing a flight of stairs or walking through airports with all my travel. There were times I had to request for a wheel chair and deep inside I felt helplessness and guilt. Last year a trip to hospital got me back on track with my breathing and on road to recovery but last couple of years of eating steroids had left me with 45 lbs extra weight and pre-diabetes. In January 2015, I slowly started working out at home with not much progress on the scale till Feb 2015. I came across Rapid Results Personal Training page and being impressed with their reviews I thought to give it a try. In March 2015 I started my program of two days strength training and kettle bell class. I started with a mindset to fix my health issues rather than losing weight. Everything was intimidating at the beginning, be it walking on the treadmill at 3.4 mph or Arc Trainer or those squats in the kettlebell class and Jacob’s Ladder. The more difficult part was trying to eat right. Oral Steroids for asthma had made me a junkie craving salt and sugar. I started making changes to diet as per nutritional plan prescribed. I stopped eating out completely but following the discipline on nutrition proved to be the greatest challenge. I found that being in a community of people who all have the same goal helped to encourage my eating habits.
So much has changed…
1) I have not popped single oral steroid in last one year, compared to eating 10-15 pills every 2-3 months
2) My pre-diabetes was cured within 6 weeks of starting my program
3) My lung capacity was 20% when I was hospitalized, it was 58% in Jan 2015 and 70% as of Oct 2015
4) I have not felt the need to use rescue inhalers or nebulizers in last 1 year, preventive inhaler usage has reduced by 50%
5) I started only being able to do 3-4 minutes on cardio, now 30 – 60 minutes is manageable
RRPT has changed my life and my outlook towards life, food and health. Going the gym has become as addictive as food used to be once upon a time. The team at RRPT makes you feel like a family and push you beyond your limits to attain what might be a dream for you. I cannot thank Laurie Ann, Todd, Paula, Randrell and Rasaun enough for helping me in my journey.I am happy to say that while being healthy was the most important goal, I have also lost 25 lbs and 7% body fat in the journey and I am not done yet. I came to RRPT after finishing my freshman year of high school because I figured it would be a couple of good workouts but nothing more. That was not the case. In about 2 month of training at RRPT I lost 30 pounds of body fat and became a much better athlete because of the weight loss and programmed workouts that the trainers tailor to your specific needs. The trainers are well taught in form and whenever I go the trainers lead the best workout possible. The tailored workouts lead me to play extensive amounts in the final 6 games on varsity as a 15 year old sophomore on a top-10 football team in the state of Georgia. Also, when I arrived for the first time I thought I wasn't going to know anybody and was worried about working out with a bunch of strangers, but the truth is that the clients and trainers are so welcoming and create a positive atmosphere that can't be replicated at any ordinary gym. RRPT(e.g. the "FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH") gave me back my health and the body I had 40 years of go!

When I first read about RRPT, I had a weak, post-op shoulder and I was extremely overweight. I was disgusted with the weight gain that I couldn't lose on my own. I met with LaurieAnn, but I thought she would tell me to strengthen my shoulder first and then come back. Instead, LaurieAnn welcomed me and explained that RRPT works with people with all kinds of injuries and that RRPT trainers have the education and experience to work around injuries. She went on to explain that I would be better to rehab with professional trainers while working on my weight loss.

I was amazed that my trainer, Todd, worked around my fragile shoulder, never once inflaming the affected muscle groups, yet giving me a great workout! After several weeks, we carefully began to train those particular shoulder muscles. I cannot tell you how fantastic it feels to have a healthy shoulder now able to lift weights. It feels wonderful and there is no way I could have achieved this on my own.

And regarding the extra weight that I came in with that was distressing me . . . it's gone!! I'm super healthy; my doctor is ecstatic. My energy and endurance are unstoppable. I have toned muscles. I feel like I'm 26 years old again. I am actually 60 years old and lost 35.5 lbs. in 24 weeks eating whole, healthy foods. LaurieAnn created a custom meal plan and a training and cardio schedule for me that jump-started my metabolism and shredded my fat. The cardio program is awesome! The classes are focused, fun, effective, and small, which gave me the individual attention I needed as a beginner. After 2 knee surgeries last year, I decided that I needed to get back into shape and rehab my knee after ACL surgery. A friend of mine had used Rapid Results recommend Rapid Results. I was so impressed by his results I went in and talked to LaurieAnn. LaurieAnn really know her stuff and her staff is extremely knowledgeable. The really stress proper form and know how to rehab an injury. I currently in my 10th week of training with them. I joined Rapid Results Personal Training with a challenging goal: get me ready for the beach in 6 weeks. I wasn't in bad shape (6' / 180lbs / 17.5% bodyfat), but I was definitely "loose in the cage" and wanted to get definition and more muscle tone. Laurie Ann enrolled me in her bootcamp class, created a customized nutrition plan, and I trained with Todd and Doug. After 6 weeks I had dropped almost 10 pounds, lost over 4% bodyfat (13.4%), and was in terrific shape for vacation.

I came to Rapid Results as what I thought was a fit 41 year old. I ran 20 miles a week, lifted three days a week, and ate extremely healthy and clean. After a thorough consultation with Laurie Ann, I soon realized that I was grossly underweight and my body fat percentage was far below what is considered healthy for my height of 5'11'. I needed to gain at least 10 pounds to be able to look as healthy and strong as I "thought" I was. For me, this was not going to be easy, as I have struggled with my body image since I was in college. But, Laurie Ann convinced me that I would look great if I listened to her and followed the plan. It was not easy for me to gain the weight, as I have an extremely high metabolism, but over the course of 4 months, I was able to gain the 10 pounds. I look strong and healthy, just as Laurie Ann promised. But it is a commitment. A mind over matter commitment. I started training with Doug 3 months into my fitness program, and I have learned how to properly train each and every muscle to become lean and strong, which was my goal when I signed up. My experience with Rapid Results Personal Training has been nothing short of incredible. I researched local gyms and groups and decided to walk in one day to see what RRPT was like. As a working mom with two small kids I needed something flexible and convienent. I also knew I needed something more than a "regular" gym. It was too easy to find an excuse not to go when I already felt like I didn't spend enough time at home. I didn't have a lot of weight to lose but I was uncomfortable in my clothes and didn't have the energy, willpower or stamina to do anything about it.
RRPT changed that. WIth the help of Laurie Ann and Doug I have changed. I have lost almost 20 pounds and am down 3 pant sizes in a little over 3 months. If you are just looking for a gym to hit after work and on the weekends this is not the best choice for you. All of the equipment you need is there but it does get crowded in the evening and on Saturday. If you are looking to get actual results, real fast, and to really learn how to work out and eat ... this is the ONLY choice for you. After hopelessly trying different diets and endless work out sessions I seem to just be spinning my wheels. When I looked at RRPT my family was skeptical, to say the least. My wife asked 'Are you really going to stick to this' and my daughter asked 'how many different diets have your tried dad? And this one is going to work because....?'. After meeting with Lori Ann regarding nutrition I really learned how bad I was eating, even the things I thought were 'not too bad' were killing any results that I was attempting to make. Lori Ann taught me simple rules that turned it from a diet to way of life. The nutrition plans are easy to follow rather than bizarre diet tricks or points or rules to follow and track. Using the simple lessons learned from Lori Ann makes it a breeze to change the way you eat and plan your meals for life. Even if you get a little cocky and think you can eat what ever you want after loosing weight (like Lori Ann said would happen) it is really easy to get back on track and go back to the proper way of eating because of the simple nutrition plan to follow. The personal trainers that I have had the pleasure of working with (Todd!, Doug!, Lori Ann) are just awesome! They really know there stuff, have great enthusiastic attitudes and know how to motivate and push you to your limits and then a little more. They take this stuff very serious and training is their passion in life which will rub off on you if you are not careful. The trainers also have a way of motivating you in a fun way so you push yourself past your limits while having fun in the process. The lessons I have learned from them have completely changed the way I approach my workout routines and nutrition that I will carry for life. My daughter was so motivated by my progress that she has become somewhat of a gym rat herself. We workout together all the time now and I love to show her the new things I learn from the RRPT team. So I get to look like I know what I'm talking about and teach her things and we are spending a lot more time together.....WIN. THANK you RRPT! I’m in my mid-fifties started training at Rapid Results Personal Training almost 1 1/2 years ago. I can honestly say it has totally changed and saved my life. I always was too intimidated about going a gym because of being so overweight and out of shape for so long. My doctors were ready to put me on all sorts of medicine, everything from heart, diabetes, blood pressure to cholesterol reducing drugs. I was looking at an enormous amount of pills not to mention expense that I was going to have to have just to survive the rest of my life. I had lost much of the weight myself before joining but had reach a plain were dieting along was not going to get the job done. I have always been active but have not had an organized workout since football practice in high school so this was all new to me. I have been with Rapid Results for 3 months. I found it online and was impressed with the reviews and before and after pictures that they had of current clients. No other gym had this kind of proof of their work! I was nervous about getting started in the gym again, but once I met LaurieAnn for my consultation I knew this was the place for me! For starters its a small comfortable gym but with all the equipment needed to keep a training program fresh and interesting. No intimidating body builders or meat market attitude that makes people uncomfortable when they're trying to get in shape. The members are all cool and helpful! Most importantly though, of all the trainers are client focused and show you that they care and they really know their stuff!! I know this because numbers don't lie, since I've been here I lost 26 pounds and 5.5% body fat, stayed safe and increased my energy while dropping pant sizes towards my goal. I love my trainer Doug, he knows what I LIKE but tries to incorporate what I NEED into my training program also so that I get the best calorie burn for my hour! It is important to find a trainer that you respect because a GOOD one is going to have to be able to convince to do what you think you can't to get the BEST results. The trainers here at RRPT are the BOMB at that! Who would have ever though that a woman 50 plus lbs over weight would be able to handle an ADVANCED (to say the least) Boot Camp class with the INSANE LaurieAnn! I LOVE IT!! When I came to Rapid Results Personal Training, I was very out of shape and overweight. I had a negative attitude towards working out, and I didn't want to get up off the couch. I have dealt with anxiety for awhile now, and becoming a member at Rapid Results has really changed my life, especially regarding my anxiety. I have such a better outlook on working out. I now want to do things that I didn't want to do before due to my weight and appearance. I have been with them for a little over a month in a half, and so far I have lost 10 pounds and 3.1% body fat already, and I'm not done yet! I never thought I would feel and look this good. I owe them a lot for getting me to this point. I am very excited about what the future holds. Before I would get tired doing the most simple tasks such as walking my dog or going up the stairs. I'm only 19! I should have been able to do those things without losing my breath. Now I can do all of those things and more! I feel myself becoming more fit and healthy! My program includes two private one on one sessions for an hour each week. It also includes one group class, and my favorite is kettlebell. I feel that I get a great calorie burn in this class. I've been a client at RRPT for about 3 1/2 months. In that time, I've lost 22 pounds and gone down 2 pants sizes. The trainers there are great, and they truly care about their clients. I've been training with Doug - he customizes my workouts to focus on the areas that need the most help. The Kettle Bell class offered here is a great whole-body workout. I have been taking Laurie Ann's bootcamp class for about 1.5years now. A friend a mine from work invited me to attend just to see how I would like it. I loved it! I have always been pretty active, but this class helps me to step up my workout further than I will push myself. It is an intense workout and a huge calorie burn, and at the end of class I feel like I have accomplished something. Laurie Ann creates a team atmosphere for this class and trust me no one gets left behind. It is an amazing group of people made up of teens to retirees. And with this class you actually get an extra workout each week, because she assigns homework. I enjoy it so much, that I consider it my recess!

Where to begin? 7 years ago after my first baby i was 60lbs overweight and extremely down on myself. I had been a fairly fit individual beforehand but didnt have the motivation and nutritional knowledge to move in a positive direction. I happened upon Todd and LaurieAnn and my life was changed. I did an 8 month stint with them and in that time lost all 60lbs, and was really in the best shape of my life. My husband and i decided to try for another babe and after the birth of our second knew right away that i would be coming back to help me get back to my pre baby weight. All of the trainers there were so helpful in teaching me to use the equipment properly, and know the appropriate amount of work to do. Before coming here I had very little experience with weight training, so the big gym theme, where there are tons of people staring at your feeble attempts to lift weights, work the machines properly, and have a personal trainer who treated you as just a paying customer, was never ideal for me. Rapid results really puts the personal into personal training. They trainers actually try to make a connection with you in an atmosphere that feels more private and comfortable. They understand what your goals are when you come into this gym and they use their vast knowledge and expertise to help you reach that goal (quicker than you might have thought possible). The personal training they offer is good for people of any age, size, and fitness level. This is personal training as it should be. I have been here for a couple of months, and do not plan on nor want to leave Rapid Results any time soon.

my first month was amazing but after that things seem to drop off i was paired with some one who had been there longer. so my fitness goals seemed to fall on deaf ears. i reached my starting fitness goals 6 weeks in and no new goals were ever set regardless of my request. and when it was addressed i was public put on display. there are trainers there i respect completely but i felt like i was the 5th wheel in my $440 dollar a month training sessions and when my work schedule changed there was no compromise.

Now, I actually am starting to look forward to my cardio the most. I am doing a full 30 minutes, which is something I NEVER thought I could or would do. Laurie Ann and trainer Doug are very patient with me, even when I complain. The environment at the gym is relaxed & family friendly. My 15 year old daughter and husband are also going and we are learning to eat better and exercise together. This is a lifestyle change for us that hopefully will last forever. I still have a long way to go. However, I feel better and better everyday. For that I am thankful to Laurie Ann and trainer Doug. They are helping me improve my health, and the health of my family.

I've been working with Laurie, her husband Todd and Doug for 3 years now. They all have a dedication to safety and results. They push you, but only to get the results you want. Good (perfect!) form is an obsession, but that both keeps you safe and gives you the most results for your time there. While they take their training seriously, they don't take themselves too seriously, they make the experience as fun as possible. Sessions are tailored to your needs and always change, giving you a variety of movements, never the same thing over and over.

This is the best training experience I have ever had. I have had personal trainers in the past; but none come close to the staff at Rapid Results. I was immediately impressed with the program and the passion of the trainers. This is not a "cookie cutter" gym where the same formula applies to everyone. The trainers here give very personalized workouts. The classes offered are challenging (to say the least) but there is such a sense of accomplishment afterwards...you just keep coming back for more.

I have been training at rapid results for about one and a half months. I am very pleased with my results thus far. I have been training with LaurieAnn and her husband Todd, whom are both very knowledgeable and know how to get you where you need to be. They know how to get the results that everyone seeks! They explain everything to you from the very beginning. They teach the correct diet, cardio and weight training. They are very honest and motivating people. One of the greatest thing about this gym is that it is a tight knit family. You get to know the people here and they are a great support. I would recommend this gym to my friends and family. As far as personal training goes, the price is very reasonable. I would pick this gym any day over a large chain. Rapid Results Personal Training is FANTASTIC!

RRPT brings the PERSONAL into personal training. I have lived in Cobb County for over 30 years. I have had memberships at gyms both big and small. I have found that many gyms will let just about anyone call themselves a trainer without any regard for training, ability or knowledge. In seeking a trainer for myself and my family, knowledge of training is key. At RRPT the trainers KNOW each of the clients. I am there to strengthen my weaknesses and they aren't the same as everyone that walks in the door. I appreciate the personal touch and the fact that the trainers show sincere concern for MY success.
As far as a previous comment mentioned: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I would rather pay for the experience of a professional trainier than pay various doctors due to sickness or injury from trying to save a buck.
I recommend Rapid Results Personal Training over ANY and ALL other trainers in Cobb County!

Just over 2 years ago I met with Laurie Ann of RRPT to discuss a fitness program to enable me "to get in shape". As a 70 year old who had never worked out in a gym let alone embarked on a fitness program, this was a big step for me. Laurie Ann's introduction to her program was detailed in all aspects, involving exercise, nutrition, weights, cardio, ab and kettle bell classes. In addition costs were fully and clearly explained and very reasonable compared to other personal training facilities. The difference for me was and is the enthusiasm shown by Laurie Ann and her commitment on an individual basis. Within 3 months I had achieved every target we had established in respect to weight loss and muscle and tone development. I have continued with RRPT ever since, establishing new targets and goals along the way. Laurie Ann has shown flexibility in rescheduling sessions when needed because of illness or travel. She and RRPT will be a very important part of my rehab following total knee replacement surgery in April.
I highly recommend RRPT and Laurie Ann for anyone old and young who truly want to achieve their full health and fitness potential!

At the very young age of 10, my parents gave me the best gift I could ever ask for. At the time I did not think anything of it, but looking back I could never have received a better gift. That gift was training with RRPT. RRPT has allowed me to get the body I had always dreamed of, I have pushed myself to limits I never would have imagined before, and my self-confidence was boosted tremendously. If it were not for the help of LaurieAnn, and the rest of the RRPT crew, I never would have been where I am today. They will make sure you get to where you need to be with your body, and after every workout you will feel great. I am now 18, have been training with them for the past 8 years, and not a single day went by that I regretted being here with them. In May of 2013 I decided it was time to take control of my body. I just didn’t know where to start. After consulting with Laurie Ann, I began training with Todd. He took the time to ensure proper form and techniques were being used. I also began fitness classes with Laurie Ann. The classes were tailored for entry level, as well as suited for the more advanced. The Results speak for themselves. I went from 238 lbs and 27.4 % body fat to an amazing 190 lbs and 18.5 % body fat. Thank to RRPT!!

RRPT has been a great resource for me. Under Laurie Ann’s guidance, I have improved my health and physical fitness level immensely, and lost weight too! The gym has a great “Can Do” atmosphere and is personable enough that I always feel that I can get plenty of individual attention if I need it. In addition to the weight training, I’ve also enjoyed all of the classes because it’s a great way to release stress after a busy day at work.
