Red Hot Yoga is my favorite Atlanta area studio - and I’ve sampled quite a few. Note the location has changed from Miami Circle to Cains Hill Place - (check www as google maps is behind the times.) I’m a climber and was training too hard when a partner at Stone Summit suggested I give this place a shot to balance my regimen. As a 50 year old man with no yoga background, I was skeptical - unsure of the experience and even afraid of looking a fool amongst those with skills.
My belay was persistently pestering though and one Sunday afternoon I acquiesced. It changed my life in all the best ways. I don’t mean just small or medium changes, I mean the sort of evolution that is only possible with the taking of risk, the passion of commitment, the willingness to work and of course the honed instruction of an equipped leader. I opted in - all in. As a result I have a few new hard won skills, more than a few amazing new friendships and a wildly deeper appreciation for each and every breath.
Intelligence, experience and the willingness to share; skills and simple love. That’s what makes this studio work - oh, and heat! Please turn up the heat!! If you are reading this you are hunting for something that fits and all shoes don’t. It’s hot in there, and we work :-) Traveling? Please feel welcome - I'm in the third row right side with graying hair - say hi! If you are local and brand new to yoga I’d suggest starting with ‘Hot’ classes to learn some of the poses - I spent six months in Hot before I ever took a Power class. Power 2? Damn right.
AB - don’t want to get in an internet garble with you so please just hear me as I’ve heard you - everything is not for everyone. One of my favorite instructors is Caron - because she is so authentic - oh, and strong; I mean Wonder Woman strong. And a teacher. Most importantly a tuned in teacher. The other day I did one of the things I do ok the best ever. I knew it, exactly in that moment, I knew it. It’s a simple move - we do it all the time - Sun As. But this was my best ever - it was accurate, complete and the best I’ve got right now. Caron’s shout out (from a distance) was a welcome confirmation she was totally dialed in to my individual progression (I am a beginner) - and there is no indiscriminate praise in this House - it must be earned.
P.S. Sound tracks always rock if you like to rock!!

Love RHY! I stumbled into Bethany's class about 5 years ago and am so thankful I did. I had never practiced yoga, let alone hot, but the passion of the studio and instructors kept me coming back for more. Caron's classes are AMAZING- especially for your abs! They really care about your poses, breathe and ensure you're practicing properly so you don't hurt yourself by adjusting your poses or talking you through what to do with your limbs and breathe. I don't practice at any other studio--have tried many over the last 4 years and they don't compare to the energy at RHY. If I do practice anywhere else, it's following Caron around!

Great studio with two rooms. My favorite is the power class where you work more on building strength and trying more advanced poses.

This studio is a MUST try!! Everything is amazing from the ambiance to the many talented and wonderful instructors, it is a place of balance between strength, poses, and relaxation.
You can tell the instructors care about their students each one brings something unique to their classes. Would definitely recommend this studio to anyone! I initially bought a groupon and when it ran out I missed the studio so much that i bought another unlimited month!
Ive never felt so connected to a studio before, I love Red Hot!

TL;DR - great if you can find the right class/get classes via groupon.
Red Hot Yoga can definitely be hit or miss with the teachers. Their standard hot yoga class is nothing worth writing home about. The 6:30 Am It's a great class for beginners since the room is not as hot, otherwise their other 90 minute class is only worth it if you like the teacher. I've loved the 6:30 AM class with April but have taken it with other teachers and found them
To be a bit stale.
The Saturday 8:30 class wit Alex is definitely worth a try! It's very crowded so you need to get their early but the class is challenging. He also gives options to have poses be easier/harder which makes the class doable for all levels. The studio itself is very nice but certain classes can get really crowded so beware!

I would give them no stars if I could. They took $60 from me and will not return it in cash or classes. The owner is never there and the staff is useless. I have tried to reach out to them several times with no response. They only have a email and no ever responses. The Buckhead location is dirty and smells like mold. They never clean their belts and blocks. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is not textbook hot yoga. The classes are sub-par and not very challenging, and the room is not hot enough to be considered hot yoga. Red Hot is only for the faint of heart. Breathing is hardly mentioned throughout the class, and the instruction is not detailed nor is it challenging. Correct form for chaturanga is never discussed, and the teachers are on the road to giving their students shoulder issues if not corrected. Great for people who have never done yoga before, bad for people who are actually serious about yoga form, alignment, and meditation.

Red Hot has always been a great workout/stress reliever for me ever since I bought their Groupon a year or so ago. Make sure you drink as much water as you can a few hours before you go in; I made the mistake of going in dehydrated and almost passed out more than a few times. My only real con is that the limited parking situation can be a real pain to deal with. I highly recommend you try this out at least once, no matter how inflexible/uncoordinated you believe you are! The people around you are very welcoming and truly only focusing on bettering themselves and their practice.

A great place to sweat out whatever ails you! I have been a few times and had two different instructors and both were great! I have and will continue to recommend Red Hot to my friends.

Red Hot Yoga offers hot yoga, power yoga, and free classes to try it out. I tried hot yoga for free and enjoyed the classes. The instructors are good at helping you through modifications and keeping the class engaging and difficult. While I haven't picked up a membership there, I have seen Groupons that offer reasonable prices (approx 20 sessions for $60) as well as ongoing promotions. I suggest asking whether they have anything to offer as it's a great way to work on strength, focus, and mobility/flexibility at a more reasonable price.

Classes tend to fill up very quickly and I don't think I've ever had the same instructor twice. Overall, my hot yoga introduction here has been pretty impressive.

It can get pretty packed, check-in can be slow, and parking can be a little tough BUT I absolutely LOVE this studio!
The instructors are great, they are very affordable (great Groupons!), and I always feel relaxed and energized when I leave.
I've tried yoga a few times in the past and it never really clicked with me. I feel in love with hot yoga and this studio from my very first class.
They have a lot of class offerings throughout the day and are great for every level.
Some tips:
-They allow you to buy multiple groupons and offer them frequently so there's rarely a reason to ever pay full price.
-Not sure if hot yoga is your thing? They offer a 90 minute FOR THE PEOPLE class on Saturdays at 12:30pm (it's a "Hot 1" class). They usually have a bucket to donate a few bucks to a good cause, but otherwise the class is totally free.
- To bring to class: water (they also sell cold water there and have a water fountain to fill up water bottles), yoga mat (can also rent for a dollar or two), and a towel (you are going to sweat...a lot)

---PROS---
- I love red hot yoga's groupon deals
- they have a lot of classes during the day, which helps with my schedule
- i have met lots of cool people there
- I feel challenged
----CONS---
- The power level 2 class is nothing like Anna Forest yoga, which they claim it is the only class in Atlanta that is Anna Forrest Style. It's nothing like it. Anna doesn't teach Surya Namaskar so crazy fast, and she holds poses longer. I don't see the connection.
- The level 1 & 2 power classes practice the sun salutations way too fast for there to be any actual benefit from practicing them. You can teach a more advanced class without making the students practice boot camp style sun salutations. Just take an Ashtanga class if you want to know what i mean :)
- The "hot" classes are very "Bikram" based. I don't care for Bikram style, so i avoid those classes. I keep wondering if ALL their "hot" classes are Bikram based, or if i have just been unlucky.
