I’ve done classes with Ale and Sam and both have been so good! Ale is the instructor that my schedule typically lines up with, she’s very high energy and communicates so well. They both give lots of feedback which is so helpful! I love that you can book a signature 1 class but not do the same exact thing each class, they mix it up which is great! From someone who had never been on a reformer before, I’ve felt comfortable using it from the start because they explained everything so well!

I love coming to Rhythm & Body Pilates every week! Sam is incredibly fun and encouraging, but also super knowledgeable about Pilates. She consistently provides challenging workouts that have made a significant difference in my entire body, particularly my arms and abs and providing accommodations to each persons abilities based on strengths and weaknesses. The environment of being here is amazing with just the right amount of lighting and music and fun conversations. Joining was the best decision I made!

I discovered this studio while eating ice cream with my boys on evening. I immediately started googling because I had been looking for a Pilates studio closer to home. This studio has been my first Pilates experience and I have nothing but rave reviews! The space is clean and smells fresh! I’m always greeted with smiles and warmth. The instructor is amazing she challenges me every single class. My core is getting stronger and my thighs are getting firmer! If you haven’t checked out R&B Pilates then you are missing out!

Joined a FREE 30 min Intro class and I absolutely loved it. I’ve never done Pilates before and the instructor Sam was so nice at giving me modifications if i couldn’t do a certain exercise.

I think this place has potential. I'm curious to see how what occurs to me as some kinks in the business structure get ironed out over time. I took a class yesterday evening and enjoyed the workout, and I hope that as this business welcomes new guests over time that what I see as inefficiencies and inconsistencies get ironed out. I'll check in in a few months for another class to see if they do!

1. The studio: it's clean, & I like that there's actually a pilates option in Kennesaw. I am writing this in the studio's first week of business & hope that a shiny, new studio will continue to stay pretty with time and use.

2. Equipment & layout: good quality reformers, mat, ball, & pilates ring. I'm curious about the inefficient use of space (each person's box being set to the right of their reformer & the mat/ball/ring set-up to the left of their reformer). Wouldn't it make sense to have everything together in the same place--to the right or to the left?

3. Workout flow: I appreciate that this studio wants to have a signature flow to this workout. That's great to help the studio build its brand & customer base. However, it was awkward to hop off of the reformer 75% through the class for a few exercises just to hop back on the reformer for the last 2-3 exercises of the class. It's seemed inefficient. Wouldn't it make sense to either end class on the mat after all of the reformer work or to change the timing and have mat right in the middle of class with reformer to start and end? I think that with time running her business & paying attention to how her class participants move--& how they can move so much more fluidly--through the workout--timing of the workout components will get streamlined.

4. Pricing, classes: looking at the class packages & membership options, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to how prices are determined. If I were to purchase an 8 class pack, the price is less per class than if I were to purchase a 10 class pack. If I were to purchase a 3 class pack & then purchase one class at the drop-in rate each month, I would spend less money per class than if I were to sign up for the 4 class/month recurring membership. I don't understand this. It seems inconsistent with how pricing is structured across all other studios/fitness formats I've tried through the years, & awkward for the customer.

5. Pricing, card fee: because you have to pay with your credit card, paying a processing fee for using your card is inescapable. I question the necessity of this for all businesses that have a processing fee. My big concern is this: the credit card processing fee increases with each price point (ie: if I were to buy a 10 class package & a 20 class package, I would have a different cost for processing--the difference is BIG). This seems unfair; why would the same process of using a credit card cost so much more for one transaction at one price? Isn't the processing of a credit card the exact same process, no matter the size of the purchase? I hope that there would be a better, more equitable, & far more fair approach to adding this surcharge across the board if it needs to be there.

6. Pricing, studio socks: From having been to multiple studios for different workouts that require specialized equipment like grippy socks, I understand that buying a pair at the studio is going to be expensive. You're paying for the convenience of getting what you need when you're in a bind because you left your socks at home. What I don't like is expecting a markup--but then being taken for a fool with what I have to purchase. The least expensive socks are both more expensive than the least expensive at other studios and far worse quality.

7. Instructor: I see that Sam is teaching every single class. I get the sense that she's a "younger" instructor who will find her confidence, her groove, & her authentic coaching style with time & practice. You don't get that without teaching. She knows Pilates quite well, & it will be interesting to drop back into the studio in a few months & see how her coaching evolves with practice.
