Coach Rashad is an absolutely incredible coach! The perfect mix of supportive, patient, and highly skilled. You can tell right away that he genuinely cares about every athlete, not just their performance but their confidence, discipline, and growth as individuals.

He explains techniques clearly, celebrates progress big and small, and knows exactly how to motivate without ever making anyone feel overwhelmed. The environment he creates is uplifting, positive, and focused. The kind of energy that makes kids excited to show up and work hard.

I’ve watched so much improvement in such a short time, and it’s 100% because of his dedication and passion. Rise Gymnastics is lucky to have him, and any athlete would be blessed to learn from a coach like this!

We absolutely love coming here for tumble time on Tuesdays and Fridays! It’s such a great way for my 2 year old to learn, explore, and burn off energy in a safe and fun environment. Sabrina and Jaylan at the front desk are always so kind and helpful, and the whole community here is incredibly welcoming and inviting. It’s been so nice after moving from out of state to find such a perfect place for my toddler. We’re so thankful to have a place like this!

Truly a Gem in Our Community!

I’ve been bringing my nieces and my nephew to Rise Gymnastics Academy, and I can honestly say it’s been such a wonderful experience every single time. From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel the energy, encouragement, and care that the whole team pours into these kids.

Coach Rashad is absolutely amazing he’s patient, motivating, and knows exactly how to bring out the best in each child. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. My nieces and nephew light up when they see him, and it’s been such a joy watching their confidence and skills grow under his coaching.

The owners, Fonda and Sabrina, have created something really special here. The gym is always clean, organized, and filled with such a positive, familyfriendly atmosphere. They’re so hands-on and truly care about every child who walks through their doors.

Every visit feels like more than just a gymnastics class it’s a community that uplifts kids and celebrates their progress in the best way possible. I can’t recommend Rise Gymnastics Gym enough for anyone looking for a place where their kids can grow, move, and shine!

I’ve visited RISE GYMNASTICS several times now with my grandchildren and just WOW WOW WOW. The staff is amazing! COACH RASHAD in particular is just outstanding he works so well with all of the children he has high energy and a great personality I cannot recommend him or this gym enough! You will not be disappointed. They are under a newer ownership and you can tell the openers are so kind and are truly creating such a well rounded environment. I highly recommend you check them out if you’re trying to get your little ones into a program they offer so many different programs.

I don't know exactly how long I went here. But they could not keep a teacher for the younger kids class. By the time my child got acquainted with the teacher they were changing teachers. But the main issue was the teachers did not pickup where they left off. Every time they would start over. So she was just doing the same thing there was no progression. If you're just taking your child for something to do go ahead. But I do not recommend this place for under 4 years old

The ONLY reason I stopped going to the other gymnastics place was because they shut down. If it wasn't for that, I would have never chosen Rise Gymnastics Academy. My daughter has been going here for 3 months. And unfortunately, yesterday, I received the emails, staying that she's too advance for the beginners class. And she should go to the intermediate class. I emailed the co-owner Sabrina, and she stated that it was on Wednesdays at 6:15. My daughter original days is Wednesday at 5:15. So instead of getting dressed and bringing my daughter yesterday at 515 I went home and another email came from Sabrina said that it doesn't start on this Wednesday,but it starts to on the following Wednesday, which I know my daughter would have been in the big mood if she would have missed her class. So I got up in my night clothes and went ahead and dropped her off and got on the phone with Sabrina to let her know that it was miscommunication, instead of her letting me know Okay, this is what I need from you, it wasnt that. I dropped my daughter off and she said to an 11-year-old. Oh, you cannot go to practice because of your payment. So again, I have on night clothes, so I didn't come in there, even though we just got off the phone 5 minutes prior to let her know. My contact information is in my profile. So at anytime, you could have called me or you could have just discussed this with me less than 5 minutes ago about the payment.

But she stopped my daughter about a payment and as im sitting outside I see it so I just went ahead and got out. My number is on file, my paymnet method is on gile, i just got off thw phone with her and she stopped my child as if she had the payment. I came in addressed the situation, told her the payment was on file and immediately she charged it and it went through. I stated that i know i should have came in and i take accountability for that but please dont talk to my child about a payment.

Instead of taking responsibility and saying it was very unprofessional. She escalated the situatio. I stated that as a child, no one should have to hear any of that. And it was very unprofessional, on her end. She took it way further than what it was supposed to have went. And instead of taking accountability, she was a coward. I apologized on my end for not coming in and explained why, which was miscommunication on her end AGAIN. BUT I guess none of that mattered. So I don't recommend this to anyone on top of that.It smells like feet, don't bring your kids here.

And for the last time I understand the parent policy and you (Sabrina) should understand the private and kid policy.

My daughter has been at Rise for over 2 years. She went from tryouts to recreational to teams and she loves it!

At the beginning, my rating might have been a hair lower and things were pretty content for the most part and then towards the end of last year to earlier this year, I would have given no rating and we were honestly considering switching gyms. Things had changed, there was a lot of drama and leadership issues and the kids weren’t as happy. The consistency was extremely off, my daughter’s original coach who is amazing was gone and suddenly and things took a downhill spiral quick…..it was -rough-.

Long story short, we heard the gym would be under new ownership yet again with different staff yet again and we panicked and weighed our options. We decided to feel it out, give it one final chance and try to stay positive and keep all the girls together considering it would affect them the most as a team more than anything.

Well, here we are today and WOW! 😍👏🏽
Ms. Fonda and staff are absolutely phenomenal. My daughter loves Coach Tiffanee and Ms. Fonda and the sweet staff. As parents, of course, it’s extremely important to have happiness, safety and stability especially in sports. They are HANDS ON and ATTENTIVE with the kids and their skillset. They smile, they communicate, they work with us through everything from scheduling to financials, they did some renovations that were much needed (immediately might I add) and most importantly they keep the atmosphere happy and musical and fun for the girls. My daughter is the happiest I’ve seen while at this gym and they’ve definitely brightened the place up! There’s no more attitudes, miscommunication, animosity and inconsistency between coaches or issues with rumors etc. Parents are involved and aware. Transparency and communication are at an all time high and while change can be uncomfortable and take time, things have been going in a great direction and we can only cross our fingers it stays this way! 🤞🏽👏🏽🥰

We recently checked out this gym under its NEW Ownership, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My two youngest go for Toddler Time on Tuesdays and Fridays, and it has been such a wonderful outlet for them. The gym is incredibly spacious and open, giving the kids plenty of room for free play, exploration, and even making little friendships along the way.

The staff here are fantastic friendly, attentive, and truly hands-on. We also tried the Parents’ Night Out event, and it was an absolute hit. The team was fully staffed and engaged, keeping the kids entertained with interactive activities the whole time. My children had a blast it was 10 pm and they were fighting me to stay longer asking when they could go back again.

What I love most is that it feels like more than just a gym it’s a welcoming community where kids can grow, play, and learn in a safe, supportive environment. Finding a place like this in Savannah for children is hard and has been difficult, which makes me appreciate this gym even more.

We’re now looking forward to enrolling them in gymnastics classes here, because I know they’ll not only have fun but also be taught with care and encouragement. This place is a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough for families looking for both play and learning opportunities for their kids! 10/10 parents you will not be disappointed this is a hidden gem.

Highly highly highly recommend this gym for your little ones! My daughter is 14 months old and had the best time of her life. There’s a closed in space for younger kids and a huge open gym for you to take them supervised or can be in alone as they grow. I can’t wait for them to teach my little girl everything she knows about gymnastics. So well put together, organized, and most importantly such a welcoming community. Couldn’t say anything but great things about this gym and the new ownership! Looking forward to getting her into classes very soon.

I had the privilege of growing up alongside the owners of this gym. They are truly amazing people: They have an entire life full of gymnastics experience and you can feel it as soon as you step into the gym. They put their hearts into every detail. The tumbling classes with my two young kids are the most stress-free fun we have all had together. The pricing is so reasonable. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I am incredibly impressed with this gym. As an individual who has spent almost 30 years in the gymnastics world, I know what a positive, safe, and nontoxic coaching experience looks like and this is IT! Coach Sarah, owner and coach has created a thriving environment for her gymnasts where they are free to work their own skills in a way that is not intimidating or dangerous. I liked the classes but the coaches and the people that worked at the front desk never talked to me and were not friendly the coaches had their favorites as in they loved 1 gymnast and didn’t coach as hard with the others that needed more coaching or were good at it. Over all I don’t recommend if you want your kid to be in a friendly environment.
