Staff are friendly. Very helpful if you have any questions about anything. Easy to get in contact with. Facility is clean , bathrooms are always stocked. Play room for the kids. Do not, I repeat do not sign this crooks contract! He will not allow anyone off of the contract! My grandmother passed away during the karate contract and he threatened to sue me! I had to pay for my grandmothers funeral expenses and money was an issue for me. He does not care about people struggling financially. He will sue you even if you are in financial hardship! Pros:
- My kids have lots of fun, and they’re always excited to go.
- They often play new games that help with physical skills and balance.
- The owner and teachers do a great job with the children. They are knowledgeable and have helpers with larger groups of children.
- They encourage kids to get excited by giving them rewards. Example: to get their first white belt, they have to complete 5 respectful activities.
- They give kids feedback so that they can improve.
Cons:
- Classes are immediately after each other, so there’s a stampede of kids going in and out and no real chance to speak to trainers about your kid’s performance other than a call later on.
- There’s usually a tv on in a room visible from the main space. I’m not fond of the garbage in most kid shows today and don’t own a TV for this reason. It seems a bit contradictory to place a TV in a space meant for fostering discipline, but overall it’s a wonderful place. This is just a personal dislike for me.
My kids love it here, and the fact that they’re excited to go makes it more likely they’ll continue to learn.

Great place! There is no sport better than martial arts to help teach a child discipline. Also, great exercise, companionship, self defense, and many life lessons. We love Rock Solid Karate! I had my 2 sons enrolled since 4/2023 and since they started they have enjoyed the experience and learning all the new techniques. They have learned to respect others, work as a team and make new friends here! They got very attached to the staff as well and love them very much. Everyone that works here is very nice and helpful and go out of their way for every kid that attends here! They have learned so much and pushed themselves to be the best they can be. They love to tell everyone where they attend to learn martial arts. I am extremely satisfied with the level of instruction and care provided by the instructors. They love what they do and love to teach all the children. I’ve never heard a bad thing about them and loved that my children were happy every time they came. My boys have always been shy but the staff at Rock Solid Karate were patient and encouraging, helping my boys gain confidence and excel in their karate training especially my younger one, he just wouldn’t give up. Their love for martial arts has only grown since they attended here from receiving their first belt to their current belt green/brown. We are moving to another county and only wish they had more locations so they could keep going because they are worth it! I absolutely love Rock Solid karate! My middle son decided last year after a year and a half that he wanted to try wrestling instead, but we quickly realized during the summer that it not only wasnt for him, but it made us appreciate the Rock Solid instructor’s dedication and their care for our kiddos. Whenever we are out sick, they always check in with us like we are part of the family. Which we did not feel while in wrestling. So, it’s safe to say I now have all three of my boys in the classes and they love every minute of it. I'm not a student, I teach at another dojo in the same town. I do have a couple of Rock Solid's blackbelts who train part time with me and I visited to watch them test today.

The students were all very respectful and also had great technique and could defend themselves quite well.

Afterwards, I met the testing board, and the instructors were welcoming, gracious, and genuinely care for the students.

Best decision we have ever made for our family. Yes, ALL of us. 2 kids, my wife and myself. My son attended aftercare here for two years and continues to go so he can earn his black belt. This place is AWESOME! Mr. David was a terrific coach and mentor to the kids at aftercare. I really feel my son's experiences at Rock Solid helped him mature and find greater self control. Working his way through the belts is teaching him the value of putting his best effort into reaching a goal.

The other instructors - Ms. Easter, Mr. Lee and Master Sant really care about the children's success and growth in the martial arts.

I would not recommend this to anyone. Yes the training is good. But they will not let you out of your contract unless you move or become disabled.

My son was no longer interested in karate anymore and we couldn’t afford it anymore due to a job change. But now we are stuck paying for something we no longer use and something we can’t afford which screws my family out of out food budget for the month.
