I waited almost 2 months for a refund that I was told I would be given if I canceled my membership within 7 days of signing up. I called to see why I hadn’t got the refund after about a month of me canceling. The manager said that it’s actually 5 days and not 7. She made a comment about how something like this could be miscommunicated between the employees, being feet away from each other. I was told I would still get the refund and never received it, even after waiting over 15 business days after I spoke with her. I disputed the charge. Due to the gym not giving me any written statement or form stating I'd get a refund after cancelling within 7 days of signing up, the claim was denied. It seems as though this was purposefully done to keep me from receiving a refund, like I was told by the lady I spoke to who claimed to be the manager.

This gym has all you could need, bar bell pads, belts, jump ropes, etc.
Generally clean, except the bathroom SMELLS like URINE, I don’t know if they bleach it or use any type of disinfected cleaner but Planet Fitness bathroom smells cleaner than RAC bathroom, thus minus one star. There isn’t music in the warehouse playing most nights.

Machines are better maintained than most gyms, even though they look a little older. Friendly staff, never crowded, plenty of dumbbells, wide variety of machines. Deadlifting out in the warehouse is great.

At first the gym seems to be alright. But I got no problem with nobody there. But the people there are to cocky and preppy! No cap! I much rather go to another gym. Why? Because the gym only wants money and don’t explain for any contract!

Great gym. 2 floors. Weights and cardio. Plus, a huge open warehouse for everything else, kettlebells, boxing bag, sleds, and a quarter mile gravel circle outside the warehouse.

I’ve been going to RAC for about 8-9 months now, and really enjoy it. Favorite public gym in Rome. It’s very large with both an inside 2 story facility and huge warehouse with turf, prowlers and sleds, pull up bars, boxes, balls, etc, and another warehouse gym area if you want to workout where it’s less crowded. There’s also space behind the gym to take a jog around a small trail, although as it’s gravel, we don’t often. Great for strength training as well as for the classes; quite a few class options. My personal favorites are spin and yoga! Overall pretty great for the value as well considering the price is low for the features. I was accustomed to paying a personal trainer so comparatively to me the price is low. They also have childcare and staffed hours are perfect for any working parent. Even in peak hours like after 5pm, there’s only been once or twice it seemed a little overcrowded. My main comments around improvement are to upgrade some of the equipment and accessories. Would love some sturdier benches esp in the warehouse. Perhaps offer certain accessories to “check out” and return when you’re done if stealing is an issue. I usually bring certain items with me like bands, discs, barbell pad. They have decent bathrooms with showers and lockers as well as a sauna. I never need / desire to use them so I have no comment. A friend really enjoys the saunas however and it appeared clean / nice. I’d be willing to pay a bit more too for certain upgrades. Great gym 👍

Gets very busy during peek hours like from 4-7...great to come outside of that time. Have everything you need from weights to machines. Weights are getting old but still work.

I love that there are different areas to workout in. I use the outdoor trail quite a bit for sprints when the weather is warm. The warehouse is roomy and the weight room is well equipped. The group fitness areas are separated by a cool spiral staircase. Staff is friendly and trainers are awesome:)

The gym has the equipment needed, but be ready to pick up and put other people's weights up for them. The gym could use a good cleaning and the equipment could use some preventive maintenance. $25 is too high for this facility, but to each his own. I would recommend this gym over Velocity though.

Inexpensive month by month plans and complete facilities. Small signup fee. Very good deal. I don't use aerobics or other classes, Highly recommended.
