The best element of this gym is the luxury toilet paper. It is not the stingy one-ply or the sandpaper 2-ply, no No NO!!! It is the finest linen-like tactile feel when gathered for the purpose of use. The plushness is a welcome respite from heavy lifts and long cardio sessions.
Overall, the facilities are slightly worn yet well maintained. Any issues with equipment are immediately addressed, leading to an elevated workout experience - EVERY SINGLE TIME! Well, except that one time ... when *someone* was using *MY* "usual" rowing machine
While I frequent the ellipticals and that one rower (consistency leads to gains, am I right? Of course I am!) the owners and staff are welcoming and encouraging, even when discipline and motivation are not quite enough on any given "off" day. 25/10 would HIGHLY recommend :)

Great place to work out. You can get in and out with no hassle. I like the locked door and pass to get in. Only people with passes are allowed in. I get in, get my 30 minutes and I'm out!! I like that there is a shower if you need it.

Very nice and clean gym. I had no issues using any equipment. As a guest, I think it's one of the best gyms I've been too. Not very big but that's a good thing. Definitely plan on joining a membership with Snap fitness. Only flaw I did notice or hear I should say, the music wasn't really motivational but that's what head phones are for. But other than that, a wonderful gym. Thanks Snap fitness!

Gym is clean, and has a practical collection of machines. A huge drawback is ownership uses the small gym (800sq ft. Roughly?) as a full gym and personal training studio at the same time during peak hours (4-6pm). So now you have five people taking up all the free space in the gym, while everyone there individually gets to slide around it like some fitness circus.

It is a really good starter gym. There is enough machines to get you started but I outgrew the place really quick. The 5:30am crowd is really cliquey and makes it hard to get a good workout in. Thereβs not much room to move around if thereβs more than five people in the gym and often people hoard a dumbbells or bounce around multiple pieces of equipment when thereβs limited equipment to begin with. It tends to be an older crowd or the βFitbit fitβ type of person in there. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get started in a gym but would be overwhelmed going to a place like Max Fitness. When I officially left this gym, I left with the confidence to walk into a full service gym and feel like I fit in well. I know this place doesnβt do contracts but I would recommend signing up with Active&Fit Direct if your bank (like USAA) or your health insurance company participates. This gym is in their network (as is Max Fitness) and itβll be a little cheaper and you can transfer gyms on the fly.

Professional staff, Bryan is a great trainer who motivates his clients and is willing to work with my sometimes crazy schedule. Clean interior, great location, plenty of parking, and with prox card can enter 24/7.

Love this gym! Clean and quiet I have always had the equipment available I'd like to use. Love that it's locally owned and the friendly community for members. I look for a gym that I can go in and work out comfortably and get back home, this is a great place.

I wanted to join this gym. The hours say from 10-1 an employee will be there. I'm there at 10 and doors are locked and no employees. Apparently they don't want my money. I waited for a couple of minutes and left. Nice business model.

All about this gym. It's quiet, clean hardly ever crowded, and has at least one of every sort of machine. It's stupid close to my house, so I can drop in whenever and hardly count travel time in my weekly commitment. My weight circuits have me going from dumbbells to machines, and it's convenient not to have to walk all over the place to find them. I can turn around on the bench and already practically be sitting on the lat machine.
I like the mix of people. You get regular people just trying to keep moving, some pushing themselves just a bit further every day, a couple of bodybuilders, and some CrossFit types. Everyone feels welcome and there's something for all of them.
The cardio machines are on the old side, but they're in good repair and they get the job done. Since it is a smaller gym, there's really only floor space for body weight training for one person at a time; two if you know each other really well.
Snap Fitness is the gym for me!

I lived in Columbus for about a year and was a member at Snap Fitness. I enjoyed the gym so much so that I would drive to Fort Benning for work and then drive back to the exit 10 area just to go work out.
Randy, the owner, is caring, kind, and knowledgeable. He trains everyone from teenagers in middle school to senior citizens.
I have tried most of the bigger gyms in Columbus, and Snap Fitness on Double Churches is by far the cleanest gym I have ever been to. Randy usually has his employees clean in the mornings, and then he will clean later in the evening once the 5-o'clock rush has hit (by the way, the post-work rush usually tops out at about 15 people in the gym). Cleaning typically consists of sweeping, mopping, and wiping down all of the machines with a Simple Green solution. The restrooms in the gym are also big enough to double as a changing room. It has most of the typical amenities you'd think a larger health club should have--tanning booth, forearm rollers, foam rollers, ab mats, stretching cables, jumping rope, etc.
There is a fairly open space at the back of the gym that will accommodate Crossfit-type activities, but don't drop your barbells like Crossfitters love to do!
Snap Fitness is also a franchise, so your key card will work at any Snap Fitness--I've tested this out, and it worked in Charleston, SC, San Fransisco, CA, Knoxville, TN, Hattiesburg, MS, and Charlotte, NC. Before going, though, call the gym and ensure a staff member is there--it is a 24/7 gym, but a staff member is usually there from 9am until 6pm.
The poor reviews from earlier are before Randy owned the gym, and things have certainly turned around since then. (Also, I think you're probably not the brightest crayon in the box if you continue to let a fitness facility charge you several years after you've left...clearly you don't care THAT much about it.)
I HIGHLY recommend Snap Fitness, and any time I'm back in Columbus, I will be going back there.

Great, more private gym. I have been an active member for a little over 2 years now. I've been a member at the "big" gyms but I prefer Snap's quiet atmosphere. The trainers also have actual ACE certification, not just a piece of paper printed off of the internet like at Gold's and Max. I have had great results with my routines with their professional guidance. I see some negative reviews...but it looks like they are based on irresponsible people that don't communicate and get confirmation when they cancel membership. I highly recommend Snap Fitness
