Make sure you arrive fifteen minutes before scheduled class time. Your abs will thank you.

I absolutely love this workout! I’ve been to almost 10 classes now, and I’m totally hooked. The coaches are all great, but Acacia stands out—she led my very first class, and her encouragement really motivated me to stick with it. Solidcore is now part of my weekly routine! 10/10! Don’t feel overwhelmed if you’re new or don’t know the movements—there are plenty of experienced members around to follow. Give it a try—you won’t regret it!

Workout:
This workout is hard. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t think so. It’s not traditional Pilates, it’s more like Lagree, and Solidcore markets it as strength training. You’ll target muscles that are usually tough to hit, especially in your abs. If you’re looking to tone and build lean strength, this is for you. If your goal is rapid weight loss or bulking, it might not be exactly what you’re looking for. Still, no matter your fitness goals, I highly recommend trying it. Most of my friends now go occasionally through ClassPass. For just 50 minutes, it’s one of the most efficient workouts I’ve ever done.
Pro tip: Do the “Starter 50” class. The reformer can be tricky, and that intro class helped me and my friends understand how our poor form was causing back and knee pain.
Results:
I swear I see a difference the next day (call me delusional). I’m naturally small, but my abs and arms have always been hard to define. Solidcore has made a bigger difference than any other workout I’ve tried. I signed up for a full membership after the 2-week trial. Trust me, you’ll see results.
Staff:
Instructors are generally great—helpful, supportive, and really good with beginners. That said, the vibe can sometimes feel a bit intimidating, especially if you’re new or don’t go often. I’ve had an instructor or two that felt a little standoffish (at other solidcore studios, won’t name them bc I’m scared lol) but never rude. Shout out to some of my favorite instructors I’ve had in Buckhead: Lexi, Devon, Claire, Acacia, Brianna, and Brandon (and Scott from Midtown too). Want to note Buckhead is my favorite location. Each Studio in ATL looks pretty similar but somehow they each have their unique vibe. I recommend trying them all if you can!
The front desk staff can be hit or miss. Most have been incredibly helpful (I wish I wrote down their names because they were super nice and helpful in getting me set up and now I have a membership thanks to all of them). I did have one very negative experience with someone who seemed totally uninterested in helping and didn’t have any answers about memberships. She basically sent me off and told me to txt or call someone else and had a bit of an attitude…. Hopefully just a one-off bad day.
Environment:
The studios are small and the reformers are close together. It’s dark, and the music is loud—which I personally love. Music really makes or breaks the class, so check the instructor wall for playlists that match your taste. I’m into house music, so Lexi is my go-to in Buckhead. The vibe overall is fun and motivating, but the wrong music can definitely make the class drag.
Final Thoughts:
I highly recommend Solidcore. Workout studios can feel intimidating, especially as a minority, and while the vibe can be off sometimes, the workout itself is top-tier. You won’t find anything else quite like it.

I LOVE Solidcore so much. My home studio is Buckhead, Atlanta but I’ve also done several classes in midtown. Every instructor I’ve had has been warm, inviting, and helpful - as a beginner I felt welcomed and supported. Now, 38 classes in, I feel stronger and toned. I do 12 classes/mo. and supplement my other days with cardio. If you have an incredibly busy schedule and need a one-hour escape, Solidcore’s fun workouts, upbeat music and supportive instructors are a great value-add to your schedule!

This has been my local studio for about two months and I’ve loved every class and instructor I’ve taken from! I love how everyone cares to learn your name to encourage you in class and makes adjustments to correct your form. These classes have challenged me and left me sore in all the best ways!

Absolutely obsessed with Solidcore! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and motivated. The instructors are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely supportive—they push you in the best way possible while offering encouragement every step of the way. The workouts are intense but addicting, and I can already feel myself getting stronger with each class. The vibe, the lighting, the energy—it all makes for such a unique and empowering experience. Thank you for creating a space that challenges and uplifts all at once. Can’t wait for my next session!

Solidcore is always great with Adriana. Her classes are always challenging in the best way possible and she is really good about demonstrations and explaining the correct form for the exercises. Overall a very motivating and positive experience!

This is not Pilates. They also give very little direction and it’s highly likely that someone not familiar with ‘their’ moves will injure themselves. Unfriendly to beginners

The instructor Devon Johnson was trash. How do you help the people who has done your class before but not the people coming for the first time?
I thought this would be a great way to end the night but I can see why the reviews are so bad. Had to leave early because I wasn’t able to catch on… she literally just waved goodbye.

I recently took a Solidcore class, and it was intense! As someone new to Pilates, I was a bit nervous, but my instructor, Brandon, was fantastic. He took the time to coach me on proper form, ensuring I got the most out of the workout while avoiding injury. The music was also a great motivator, adding to the overall experience. I’ll be booking another class at this location soon.

Solidcore - Buckhead has the kindest and most helpful instructors I have ever experienced. The manager at the studio goes above and beyond to make you feel apart of the community and comfortable as a new client. I could not recommend this location enough!

Brandon Lacey’s class was terrible. When I needed help he just looked at me and kept going! He is bad representation of solidcore. I will be canceling my membership due to his performance.

The girls at the front desk are not only rude, but kind of oblivious and a little ignorant when people go out of their way to commute there and spend their time there.
Bare minimum work ethic to say the least.

Racial discrimination. One stuff chased me out. I was late 4min because of unexpected traffic, and she said I was late more than 5min which is their policy, so she cannot let me in and I was even not allowing to stand in their lobby because I don't have access to the class. Even i said I'll take the next class she said no and forced me get out of there. This is Solidcore in Buckhead.

Advantage compared to my usual/preferred location: Buckhead has a larger room with more tables so I'm likely to get a spot.
Disadvantage compared to my usual location: sketchier garage parking and Buckhead has more break ins of cars that my usual Solidcore location so I'm reluctant to go to the Buckhead one.
