I celebrated my 40th here with all my besties and let me tell you this is where you want to go for any kind of private party! Forget clubs and renting a space. This is where it's at! They were great in communicating the logistics but the best part was having Phoenix as our dance instructor. She is very approachable, talented and brought the energy up in our room. I took the 4-week SPICE Aerial Glow Lyra class with Cinnamon, she was a great instructor, who made the environment feel so welcoming and fun. If there was ever anything I was having a hard time with in the class she was so patient, encouraging , and would re-explain and help work through the challenges I was facing. This entire studio is such a great vibe, and if you are hesitant to sign up for a class- DON'T BE. I left every class felling mentally refreshed and empowered. Can't wait to do another class in the future!

"Cinnamon liqueur" had horrible vibes, I felt uncomfortable the whole time i was encountering her. I really do not recommend this girl she looks at you like you're competition and she instructs you like you are competition. Really weird behavior. For sure not a girls girl. if you are "for women" why are you hiring girls who are not for women? You claim to be a safe space and yet there she is.

I was going to wait until my 4 weeks of introduction to pole class were over to leave a review but I can't wait. I need everyone reading this who is thinking about taking a class to just do it! I took these classes to increase my confidence and its working! The atmosphere is incredibly supportive. The added bonus is that I am sore in a way that I have never been before so I know I"m getting a good workout too! These classes are worth every penny. I really wanted to take a class here but I have to say the way they gain new clients is over complicated. IF your a new to aerial arts and pole then this might be fine with their 4 week beginner program but IF your someone with pole and aerial experience and want to TRY a drop in class for intermediate to advanced courses you won’t even get the chance to try the studio with out signing up for a membership.

Recommendation:

- offer separate programs for beginners, advance pole dancers and aerial silks and Lyra separately
- offer drop in classes to all courses
- display all classes available with description and prerequisites

I decided to celebrate my birthday there with a group of friends and when I tell you that it was remarkable experience...it was phenomenal. Not sure words can describe how encouraging, empowering and fun this experience was with Jackie, who is the creative director of Spice.

So, I was introduced to this studio by a friend. She was posting videos from her classwork of choreography, and it looked like a lot of fun. So, I purchased their 3-class drop-in package and took a class that required no experience, called chaircrobatics, which was "how to do tricks on a chair". IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! I decided to sign up for their 4-week "intro to pole" class series, where each week you are taught basics and each week builds upon the previous week's work. By the last class, you have about 3-4 minutes of choreography and some basic skills on the pole, and you'll feel like a BAD@$$ with a nice @$$. I then finished out my 3-class drop in package last week, and I'm signing up for more classes this week! Definitely worth giving it a shot!

This space is absolutely magical, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here when I was last in the Atlanta area. Everyone, staff and students alike, were incredibly supportive and attentive, and the instruction here is some of the best that you’ll find in greater Atlanta. I have zero dance/aerial experience and this studio is wonderful for all levels of experience. This studio is clean, sanitized, and organized. At this studio, I see students of all shapes and sizes. We came here in September for a friend's birthday and did the pole/Lyra class. Being plus size, I was so nervous about so many things that only people in my shoes would understand. Would the pole hold me? Would the hoop holding me make the ceiling cave in? Every concern you could think of came to mind. I even searched Google for weight limits and to see if any other plus size women had left reviews. I couldn't find anything and promised myself I'd do this review for others who may be doubting themselves. Let me tell you this, it is for EVERYONE! Those hoops are fixed to the ceiling beams and the hoops themselves are some hardcore steel (?). The only thing that could make it crumble would be Godzilla or someone with supernatural powers. Anyway, not only did the wonderful instructor make us ALL feel comfortable and welcome, she was so encouraging and fun. Since then, every person that went to that party (including myself) has either signed up for lessons or has bought a Groupon to attend more lessons. I love the body positive environment here, you're all amazing and I can't wait to come back.

I came to visit Georgia for a week and decided to drop in to Jessalyn’s Lyra hoop class and let me tell you it was so worth it!
It was my very first time trying it and even though she is new to this location she was very experienced, patient and attentive!
She was very helpful with modifications and making everyone feel comfortable no matter what level they were at.
If you stop in prepare to step out of your comfort zone and get a great workout!
I will be keeping up with her personal online training since I live in North Carolina and try to stop by again when I’m back in town. 💜

I have rarely felt the immediate desire to return to a fitness class afterwards. I took the fitness class and ended up being the only one there as it was Halloween and the instructor walked me through an extended routine! This was my first time doing anything pole-related. I had so much fun and an amazing workout ( my whole body was sore the next day). I even felt sexy- despite being incredibly goofy and ungraceful. I came in for their open house last weekend and absolutely love it. It’s been a while since I’ve stepped in a pole studio or any place of fitness and I instantly felt welcomed. I took the Intro to Pole class & Intro to Hoop (Lyra) this week at Spice’s soft opening, the studio is absolutely beautiful. Both classes were so much fun!!
