About the Club

Strength Society is small group strength training built for people who are over the gimmicks and ready to get strong for real. Co-founded by a 10-year NFL vet and a 15-year gymnast, we train people to move well, lift heavy, and age like a fine wine — all in a setting that feels more like a squad than a class. We’re not here to babysit you through burpees. We’re here to build you into someone who doesn't need babysitting.

I absolutely love this gym. The coaches and trainers are fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and supportive. The space is always clean, and the playlists are consistently great. I’ve been a member since they opened, and I’ve never worked out to a bad playlist. The workouts are tough but completely doable, and it’s truly a super friendly gym community.

Love the coaches, love the gym, love this group of people. The coaches are knowledgeable and safety conscious, very strong on form and not afraid to push you a little outside your comfort zone but also exceptionally good at respecting boundaries / limitations if you have them. I love this gym! The small class sizes are a huge plus — they allow the coaches to give more personalized attention and help you improve your form and technique. The coaches are knowledgeable, upbeat, and know how to push you in the best way to reach your goals. There are plenty of class times throughout the day, which makes it easy to fit a workout into any schedule. I also really enjoy the events the gym hosts outside of class — they’re a great way to connect and socialize with other members. Overall, an awesome community and a great place to train!

I knew within 15 minutes of working out at Strength Society that I had found my tribe!
The workouts are thoughtfully curated for challenge and strength building and the coaches are knowledgeable, motivating, and positive! I commit to showing up and working hard and Strength Society helps keep me encouraged and in proper form so no injuries! I love that the functional fitness can meet anyone at their level (beginners do NOT be intimidated) and the strength building will also advance the athletic performance goals of the seasoned athlete! I have been a member for about 6 weeks and feel great and look forward to meeting my fitness goals! I could go on and on, but instead you need to come check it out!!

It’s the first time that I have found a place to work out where instructors and participants have such a positive vibe. I went from being a couch potato to 6 classes a week from my first trial day. I’m learning every day. There is always an instructor close by watching and showing me how to correctly complete each exercise as needed. There are new challenges daily. I can’t say enough.. you have to try it. Alpharetta’s best kept secret (for now).

Strength Society made me fall back in love with fitness. The coaches are well educated at designing the workouts for the targeted muscle groups and correcting form to ensure our safety. I like that the workouts and music aren’t repetitive but what is always the same is the vibe and positivity from the staff and other members. I am very consistent with my heavy lifts at home. I came in thinking that I can handle whatever they throw at me. I was quickly humbled. The workouts are well thought out and designed to push you. All of the coaches are professional and engaging. They will correct your form. They will encourage you. They will help you modify movements when needed.

Definitely check them out! You won’t regret it!

I love SS so much! I highly recommend it to everyone, no matter your age or fitness level. They’re amazing at providing individual training within a group class. If you have any injuries, they always make sure you’re safe and training according to your limitations. Truly the best! amazing progressive training. workouts and training blocks are designed amazingly! very effective and functional!

This is one of those places where you go with a clear goal, feeling confident that your muscles are going to FEEL IT and grow stronger. I absolutely love every class, trying out different training sessions and hitting different muscle groups each time. I’m a big fan! I mix this up with Pilates, and for a woman my age, it’s exactly what I need. Of course, it’s all about the environment, Jonathan, and all the amazing coaches there. They really care about you, making it feel like you’re getting a personal training experience. If you’re looking for a gym with a plan to grow and stay healthy, this is definitely the place for you!

I have been attending Strength Society since it’s Grand Opening. The coaches provide just in time support and coaching. I appreciate their voices offering encouragement to complete each set and simple technique correction when I lose the proper form. The classes are small enough to offer a personalized touch but big enough that I don’t feel that all eyes are on me. Each class is filled with great people, challenging workouts and great people.

I have lost 7 pounds, 2 percent body fat and seeing some definition. No need for a New Year’s resolution, getting it done now at Strength Society.

Have you never worked out before? Has it maybe been a while since you worked out? Are you currently accepting offers from fitness websites for a photo session? Good news - all of you will be welcome at Strength Society. A great environment for all - high level motivation, great energy, great community and pushing you to go beyond what you think you can do. All the coaches I've worked out with so far - Coach B, Jonotthan, Jack - they are all fantastic. Great tips on modifications if needed and knowing when to push you. I've just recently joined, but I'm very impressed with the entire operation so far. Give them a shot - you won't be disappointed!

As of today, I’ve now completed 30 classes at Strength Society, and I can honestly say this gym has helped me transform my fitness and mindset. In just a short time, my endurance has improved dramatically, I’m stronger than I’ve been in years, and I feel far more confident in my workouts.

What truly sets Strength Society apart is the coaching. Jonotthan, is kind, understanding, and genuinely motivational. He’s created an environment where everyone — no matter their age or fitness level — feels supported and capable of growth. The entire coaching team is tremendous, and every class pushes me to be better while keeping safety and form at the forefront.

A special shoutout to Katie and Daisy — they’re both wonderful. They challenge me to dig deeper, stay focused, and bring out my best every single session. Even in a small-group setting, the coaches make sure you get individualized attention to make sure everyone is moving safely and pushing themselves appropriately. That level of care means a lot — especially to me as someone in my mid-fifties who’s recovering from back surgery after a car accident.

Because of the training and encouragement I’ve received here, I never imagined I would enjoy training this much or feel this capable again, but now I have absolutely no doubt I’ll continue getting stronger, building muscle, and staying active for many years to come. Strength Society has helped me believe in what my body can do, I’ve developed a stronger body and a stronger mindset— and that’s invaluable.

I absolutely love Strength Society since I have joined, I have become fitter and stronger as well as learning PROPER form, which helps a lot. Jonotthan is very knowledgeable and knows his strength training! VERY MUCH worth every dollar and cannot recommend more.

Is it perfect for all age groups as well. The trainers help modify your needs depending on your individual needs, considering injuries or deficits.

I don’t normally enjoy workout classes because I feel like they are hard to follow, but the class with Johnathon was great! He demonstrated each exercise we would be doing and also came around and helped people as they were doing them. They had three different lanes so everyone had the ability to be challenged. It’s a good class for beginners or experienced people who don’t want to worry about planning their workout.

Its hard for me to explain all of the reasons I love this place. The workouts are great and adjustable to your fitness level. Each movement is well explained and the coaches do an excellent job making sure you are doing everything correctly. Everyone is friendly but there to work. Facility - clean, modern, top-line equipment - nothing half-assed
Personnel - experienced, motivated, and appropriately challenging to the group and specific to individuals as required
Workouts - well thought out and challenging. Designed for progressional group growth and flexible enough to push individual requirements within the group environment
None of the cookie cutter Heart Rate Zone, get in the orange or red, 20 min on treadmill or rower and waste half the workout working on your heart rate rainbow.
