This was a fantastic gym. The staff is welcoming, the equipment is clean, the facilities are well maintained, and most importantly the training is technical and REAL. Too many gyms offer “boxing” and “kickboxing” but they’re mostly cardio sessions. I loved this gym because I actually LEARNED something. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a legitimate gym to learn, train, and excel. To my Jiu Jitsu people it goes without saying that 10th planet is one of the best gyms out there. Recently, a few of my coworkers an I agreed to take a martial arts class together. One of my coworkers has been taking a class here so we agreed to all try Striker. I have close to a decade of experience between multiple different styles. When my coworkers (who are all male) attempted to sign up for the free class they were met with an immediate yes and were allowed into the class. When I reached out I was met with extensive questioning. I was asked about my age, experience, equipment, etc and was not let into the class (a beginner course). Instead the owner, Gina, insisted that I come in BY MYSELF with my gloves for an undisclosed reason. This felt predatory to say the least. When I spoke with my coworkers who had emailed with her too, we compared and saw they got one email with a yes telling them to bring their ID. I have taken classes at multiple studios and have never experienced an owner or instructor telling me I have to come in with my equipment a day or two before just to try out a FREE COURSE. This request to have me come in made me uncomfortable when I wasn't even told if I could take the class. I have been looking for a new studio and was genuinely interested in taking classes with one of my coworkers who is already a student there, but after talking with my coworkers, we agreed it did not seem safe considering the insistence that I come in separately. I eventually gave up emailing with Gina about attempting to take the course because it wasn't worth the struggle. My other male coworkers took the course and described the vibes as being uncomfortable with almost no women other than the owner. I don't know if this just came off wrong on their end, but I will be sharing my experience with my fellow martial arts friends.

The facility is stunning, the prices great, the coaches are top notch, and the training partners are friendly.

Everything you're looking for in a gym is here. I focused more on their Bjj w/ Sean Applegate as the head coach (10th Planet Atlanta). He's by far the best instructor I've ever had and it shows with the success of his team and the culture he's built.

My only regret is not being at a time in my life where I can train as much as I'd like to.

I came here through word of mouth, I’ve always wanted to box, unfortunately I was hesitant and never pushed myself to really go through it. Almost 7 months In, and ever since I came to fighter strike center it has only added to my life. The positive effect it has physically AND mentally is truly astonishing. This place is great and has amazing instructors. They really work with you to make sure you understand proper technique, versus some other places that just let you go through the movements.

The Muay Thai class consists of an hourish of learning techniques, combos, strategies, etc. On top the hour there is around 30 minutes of optional sparring, you are not forced to do it but I highly recommend doing so. You will need boxing gloves, shin guards, a mouth piece, and cup if needed.

The BJJ classes are taught by high level 10th Planet BJJ instructors that teach from the ground up. These are no-gi classes.

The areas are all clean and tidy and organized really well. The only nitpick I can give is that the areas are a bit small which is usually not an issue, however sometimes when there is a huge influx of people it can get really crowded.

There is not enough positive things I can say about this gym. My three children and myself take multiple classes here and it has changed our lives. The coaches and Gina are amazing. I go to Striker Fight Center for Muay Thai and I have had an amazing experience. My dad has been training there for years now and I’ve been there a few months. When you sign up, you pay one rate and can attend any of the classes offered here, all of which are taught by knowledgeable instructors with the intention of making you a capable fighter. While I have only taken advantage of the boxing classes provided by Striker Fight, I can say without a doubt that this is one of my favorite gyms. First I went to HardKnox and my exaperience ended right after the door, I left there and walked into striker a few days later. The classes are affodable, schedueling is flexible to enhance your trainning exsperience and the people are really what make the gym, home. I happened to be in Georgia for a night and went to Stryker Fight Centre to check it out for a class. What an amazing and hard work out I had with the wonderful coaches. The coaches worked hard to teach the fundamentals and reinforce the punches. It was fantastic and I had a killer work out! Unsure how 6 5-star reviews equals a 4.8. But to repeat everyone before me, this is the best MMA gym you could hope for. Every instructor is versed, educated, and committed to their discipline. The Jiu Jitsu professor Juan Guavera is not only one of the best athletes I've ever witnessed but hands down one of the best people. The kids coach, Ryan, is amazing with all of the children from 5-13 and my son truly enjoys going to Striker whenever he can.

Fantastic bjj experience at a thriving gym. The head instructor was out of town when I visited but class was still held, was well led and instruction was clear.
