I cannot recommend this studio enough. Donna, the owner teaches classes with an educational approach which helps bring awareness into your body not only in class but in everyday life. If you want to gain flexibility, balance, strength and a better understanding of what your body needs come here! Donna always accommodates injuries (like my shoulder injury from an accident) and is mindful of limitations. After 6 months at this studio I am doing better today than I was before my accident!

Donna is an incredibly gifted teacher, your body will be stronger and better with her style of yoga. But the Iyengar style is very different than other studios, and is very focused on the yoga itself, so you have to go in with the right expectations. If you do, the experience of doing yoga with Donna is an amazing one.

I can’t praise this studio enough. I contacted Donna to organize a yoga class for my birthday, she was very kind and help me organize everything, this studio is so beautiful and elegant, also I must say, very organized and clean. The class was amazing, considering we were all beginners. She was an incredible guide during the session and got all my friends interested into this practice. I highly recommend this studio, and Donna is just beyond this world.

Super cool location (walk just out the door and can grab coffee or lunch after class at one of nearby places).
Plenty of parking nearby, but normally able to park right in front.
VERY detailed focus, not one to rush you from one pose to another. No. She makes sure you get it done correctly!
Plenty of supplies and very friendly instructor and classes.

Donna's training and professional knowledge of Iyengar yoga has saved me from having back and knee surgery. I have been coming here since she moved to historic Norcross and highly recommend Donna and her studio. I am a student at Studio 87 Yoga with Donna. She is a well trained and very knowledgeable teacher. Donna has a warm and friendly personality.
She has the detail knowledge of human body and has helped her students to gain benefits of yoga, using the correct props. Donna's guidance in yoga practice has helped me get off some strong blood pressure medicines and also helped ease an arthritic hip. My experience with Studio 87 Yoga has been very pleasant and I am grateful to have Donna in my life.

I met and started studying Iyangar Yoga with Donna 12 or 13 years ago. My life is transformed by depth to which Donna takes her instruction and the books she recommends and refers to throughout the practice. She runs her studio with an artist's approach. I've never seen such a beautiful and ready studio. Beginning was the hardest part. It took me 50+ years to start. Don't wait!

I have been a student at Studio 87 for more than 12 years. It has honestly changed my life. I suffered with lower back pain due to scoliosis and spinal stenosis. Donna’s therapeutic approach to Iyengar yoga has almost completely alleviated my pain. Donna is one of the most knowledgeable and dedicated teachers I’ve ever encountered. She ensures the safety and well-being of her students through strict and disciplined instruction. So grateful to have her in our community. Donna is a real treasure!

I have been going to Studio 87 Yoga for about 6 months. When I walked in Donna, the owner asked me about any injuries which I appreciated as I broke my foot and ankle about 8 months prior. She was very warm and welcoming and has a very diverse clientele. This enabled her to modify some poses and exercises for me. She is very knowledgeable about the human body and how it works and is able to modify almost any pose to get the desired result without injury. She also monitors her students to insure that we are doing the poses correctly so that we get maximum benefit from them. And I have not been to the chiropractor since going to her classes! I highly recommend Studio 87 Yoga and Donna.

If you are looking for an exercise class with the primary goal of sweating, keep looking. If you want better flexibility, more overall strength, improved balance and more awareness of your body then Iyengar Yoga is what you are looking for and this studio is the place to find it. Donna's approach, as a teacher, is the best I've seen. She is more focused on you knowing what is going on with your body than forcing you into a pose your body isn't ready for.

This is an amazing yoga studio and I cannot recommend it enough. The owner, Donna, is one of the most caring and knowledgeable teachers I have encountered. I have attended many of her beginner classes and each one is unique and fresh. I have had pain in both of my knees so I tend to be hesitant to do things like yoga but Donna always adjusts my poses to accommodate and help my knees. With her knowledge of the finer points of how the bones, joints, muscles, etc all interact and affect each other she has suggested practices for me to do at home. My knees have improved dramatically. She's the best!

I'm grateful to have found Donna, this studio, and the community that has been built around it. Donna is a gifted and extremely knowledgeable teacher with a great sense of humor. No two of her classes are the same and each one is tailored to what is going with her students physically at the time (she asks at the start of every class). Other teachers at this studio are similarly excellent. I have brought both my parents here, my husband, my aunt, and both my daughters. Thank you for all you do, Donna!

I’ve been to a number of yoga classes in other places and this class with Donna has been the most helpful with excellent instruction. Donna always asks her students to see if they have any health issues she needs to know about, so she can be sure to help that particular student. I am 80 years old and this class has helped me stay active, challenged me to work on my posture, has helped me get stronger and work with my physical limitations due to surgeries. I find a real friendship caring and bonding between students and teacher. Our Tuesday morning class has become a real community.

Studio 87 has been a shining light in my life. Donna Moresco is a careful and knowledgeable teacher, always with her students well being in the forefront of her mind. I know there are many yoga practices available and I truly appreciate the concept and theory behind Iyengar Yoga. I’ve followed Donna from Duluth to Norcross and have been attending her classes for over 10 years. I whole heartedly recommend Studio 87 and Donna Moresco as an excellent Iyengar teacher.

Donna is a warm and welcoming teacher. The classes are not of the "flow" type - they are iyengar. Slow and steady. My flexibly has improved so much since taking yoga.
There are beginner classes and advanced classes. If you are interested, there is also a meditation class available on Saturdays (taught by David)

I had never done any kind of yoga before coming to this studio. I love my time at Studio 87 Yoga; it is one of the rarer moments during my day that I feel peaceful. The studio is beautiful and inviting. Donna is an excellent instructor and extremely passionate about Iyengar yoga. She always ensures that her students are comfortable and safe while pushing us to do more than we think we can. She is very attentive to each of us. I am very grateful I found this studio and this practice.

Before I started going to this studio, I was a regular at the gym and the chiropractor too! I had persistent neck and shoulder issues that weren’t relieved by other kinds of yoga. Donna really cares about her students and wants to help. She wants to understand each person’s health issues and limitations so she can help them work through them. Iyengar yoga uses props and can be similar to physical therapy, allowing you more freedom of movement and awareness of your body so you can work safely. Donna knows when and how to push us to do just a little more to feel and move better. She’s direct but also compassionate. She has rules for good reasons.
If you’ve done other forms of yoga (Vinyasa, Ashtanga, etc), you’ll find that Iyengar is different- and for me, better for my body. If you are serious about the work and practicing regularly, the benefits are physical, emotional, and mental. I love this studio, the teachers, and my fellow students!

Despite the bad reviews about Donna I thought I would try this studio today. First of all I have been to many studios and give them all 5 stars except this horrible experience this evening. I show up for class and Donna was very cold,unfriendly and rude. I had already taken my shoes off.. After I handed her my money for the class she placed my money on the counter she did'nt give a tour but told me not to take my water bottle to the floor three times. Then she proceeded to ask me if I had health issues and if that was why I needed my water bottle. That was a very unneccessary question. I then told her I was uncomfortable and would get a refund and just leave. She then stood at the counter as i was handing her two $20 bills she was hesitating to give me my $50 bill and was talking to me rudely asking me to look at her while she was talking. Honestly she was extremely rude, unprofessional and racist. I would not recommend this place or ever go back. After all that I l realize I left my water bottle with all the drama. She need to shut down this studio until she learn how to treat people with respect.

I have been a student of this studio for over 3 years, in which time I have gained strength, flexibility, and heaps of knowledge about my body and how it works. Iyengar yoga is purposeful and adaptable; perfect for anyone who has physical issues that might make other styles of yoga too difficult.

I went to the studio for the first time last night for the class with various sized balls that were used for self-massage. Excellent class and the instructor provided clear instructions and modifications for all levels. Very friendly and welcoming environment.
