Best gym in Atlanta! You have to get a membership but once you do you can have open gym, personal training or take one of their classes. Also there’s the best gym cat ever. Been training here for years and it’s always been a safe haven to lift and feel good. Very inclusive for everyone.

I love this gym. If you are looking for a body-positive, queer-friendly, community oriented gym - look no further! Also they have a gym cat named Cheese. And the Cheese merch is AMAZING. I already have two crop tops. I train with Kira as my personal trainer and she is amazing. I have made more progress with her in a couple months that I did on my own in years. 10/10

Cannot say enough great things about this gym— I’m sad I didn’t find it earlier! It’s the most welcoming and inclusive space I’ve been to and I’ve never felt more comfortable at the gym before. It’s not intimidating in the slightest, which sometimes joining a new space can be. Lis limits the number of people during open gyms so you can always be assured you’ll have access to equipment and enough space to do whatever you need to do. The people are super friendly and you start to see a lot of the same folks over and over. It’s a great community. All of the equipment, although most gently used, is in fantastic condition, by the way. Lis and the members keep it very clean and organized.
Training with Lis is also awesome. Whether you’re brand new to the lifting scene or more experienced, Lis takes special care to meet you where you are, breaks down good form, and gives you lots of super helpful tips and tricks to help push to get to any goals you may have (steadily, of course). She’s around a whole lot (hi, Lis!) and makes an effort to greet people by their names when they come and go. She’s also very conscious of creating a safe space, taking careful note of pronouns and any other identities you share upon signing up.
Also I can’t forget about Cheez, the gym cat! Whether he’s napping or “spotting” you for a lift, he’s a fun distraction between sets and just makes the place feel homey.
Anyway, super long review to say I really love this place and am super happy I found it. Been going 3x a week consistently for nearly 2 months now (who knew I could be consistent?!) and I owe it to Lis and the community for building such a welcoming space.

Lis has created a space that is warm, welcoming and inclusive - unlike any gym space I’ve ever been in! Gyms have never been my favorite environment and for years I was scared of trying weightlifting because of toxic gym bro culture, but finding this space has changed all that. It is a safe haven with a knowledgeable AF coach, great equipment, and phenomenal people all around. Couldn’t recommend more.

Lis is not only an incredible coach, but an incredible human. I've always felt really insecure and self-conscious in gyms and had a really bad experience with a personal trainer about a year before I finally went to Lis for a beginner's session. I immediately knew this studio was the place for me. Since I started seeing her all those months ago, she's helped me through a rough burnout patch, a couple of injuries, and all my mental blocks from previous trauma.
All of us need a third place—something that's not home or work. This is my third place; I've grown so much during my time here and can't wait to see where I continue to grow—mentally, physically, and emotionally. If you're looking for a trainer who GETS you and doesn't peddle any workout/diet culture nonsense, Lis is for you.

Lis is the best trainer I have ever worked with and one of the best people I know. She means it when she says everyone is welcome. If you asked me what my favorite and safest spaces in the city were, her studio is number one!

This is (1) an awesome gym and (2) an amazing place to get coaching from someone who knows what’s up with lifting. My work capacity has increased remarkably in the few months I’ve been there, PLUS everyone there is cool and interesting. Bonus: Lis has the best playlist of all time.
If you’re interested in getting stronger and feeling capable in your body, this is a wonderful place for you.
Lis is a certified badass with a heart of gold.

So amazing! I did a semi-private workout as a guest. Lis is very informed and helped me do a workout that suited my body and made me feel like making modifications to workouts was a positive thing and not negative! Wish I lived closer so I could become a part of the community.
