Best thing I ever did in my life was take a class from this dance studio. The people are amazing and welcoming, the instructors are exceptionally talented, world- renowned burlesque performers, and they taught me something I craved but did not know how to attain for myself: confidence. Not only in my body, but in my ideas, in myself. My life is literally so much better for having tried this. I have a creative outlet, and I treat myself with much more kindness and love. I’m not sure anyone could have given me a better gift. I am endlessly grateful.

I've taken classes with most of the teachers there, and I've never had a bad experience! Learning there really upped my comfort and expanded my abilities in all levels of performance I do - I would recommend it for anybody wanting to feel more at home in their body, and anybody who does performance art of any type. Hard to be nervous about performing after stripping, dancing, and singing at the same time.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the Atlanta School of Burlesque is! The positive affirmations, camaraderie, and movement have literally changed my life for the better since I started taking level one Burlesque with owner/teacher Roula Roulette in 2018. The school is a diverse and inclusive environment with dance for all bodies and all abilities. If you can't do a move, just ask the teacher and they will come give you a modification.

I started taking movement classes in their studio space 7 years ago. The burlesque inclusivity and history entranced me when I'd be waiting for classes or chatting with instructors. When I finally got to try out their progressive summer series, Roula had me crying with her body acceptance mantras.

I appreciate the dedication to making their students better. The love I feel everytime I interact with the teachers here warms my heart and encourages me to keep working at something I've always loved but not always had confidence for.

You can be scared to start something new here, but you can do it anyways and the instructors and fellow students will make sure you know that. 😉
