My daughter has been taking classes here since August and she loves it! Staff is very nice, specially Ms. Maya. It amazes me how every class is different and they never repeat the same class. Either the warm up, exercises or games are different every single time! The whole hour is full of activity and it goes fast. I have noticed a major improvement in my daughter too. We have been attending weekly classes for almost a year. Miss. Kourtnie was such a wonderful first time teacher for my little one, we attended her classes weekly until we were aged out. As time has gone on classes have gotten quite big, a lot of adults, a lot of little ones which can be a bit much as you’re attending to your child but also trying to not step on others.
We did have our little one’s birthday party at The Little Gym and it was a blast, Miss. Kourtnie was not working that day but when we requested to have her attend/work the party she was there! The staff that night were all very friendly and attentive.
Since Miss.Kourtnie’s last day you can feel the difference in the gym, it’s not the same without her happy personality. I do hope she comes back as I know my little one has grown so much to her and enjoys her at the gym.

The staff is very nice and warm. The facility is nice and clean. But, they allow too many people inside during the “explore” period that definitely takes away from my enjoyment as a parent. Feel like it’s questionable safety at times due to too many adults and constantly having to watch yourself and your kid (and other kids) so none of them get stepped on. They should really re-consider their policies on how many adults are allowed during peak classes. 25+ adults is too many for one studio

Update: had a very encouraging chat with the owner. She was incredibly empathetic, listened to my concerns, etc. Hoping the changes she plans to implement solves the problem.

Our daughter was a part of the little gym for almost 8 months and we had a great experience! The staff was friendly, patient and responsive. We also enjoyed the extra activities offered outside of our usual class time. Our daughter to a special liking to her dance teacher Ms.Brooklyn who was always supportive and engaged well with the children. The front staff was great, including Mr. John. We are beyond appreciative for Ms. Diamond who consistently went above and beyond to ensure our time at The Little Gym was the best and pushed Madi to try new things. We are taking a break because of conflicting schedules but hope to return in the future as being there broadened our daughter's skill set and it was a great opportunity to meet new friends!

We love the Little Gym, and both of our children have attended classes over the last 3 years. We love Miss Jane and Miss Lisa and the entire TLG staff. They create such a fun play space where kids can feel confident in their abilities. It’s a great joy to watch my kids as they build body confidence!

I trusted the Little Gym of Smyrna with the safety and security of my child and unfortunately that was a mistake.

My 3 year old son was a part of the "Funny Bugs" curriculum, which is the first level where kids attend classes without parents in the room. In these classes, the teacher Hydra was repeatedly rough and aggressive in her interactions with my child. Using physical force to discipline and interact with my child. She was so aggressive, one of the other parents felt compelled to tell me that she noticed all of the same things I had unprompted.

I could not be more disappointed in Jane Mills or the Little Gym of Smyrna.

Parents: if you are going to enroll your child in these classes, at the very least call to confirm that Hydra will not be one of the teachers.

We’ve been coming to TLG Smyrna for about a year and this place rocks. So many changes and with each change I see growth. The way they handled the pandemic was flawless. The staff truly cares about kids. My son has a diagnosis of ASD and the staff is so caring and understands his needs and helps him accomplish his tasks.
Right now he is with Lisa and she, as well as her team ensure he’s able to participate and pushes him to do his best!!!

Y'all I have to tell you how much we love this place. My daughter does gymnastics here once a week we've been coming for almost a year Coach Tay is the best teacher we have encountered. He remembers every child's name special-needs likes and dislikes. He is able to take time with all the children individually in the classroom setting and help them work on whatever it is they may need he gives wonderful positive feedback and is able to tell you what your child is improving with and the differences in between each class. When we originally started we were taking dance class and gymnastics I was not impressed with the teacher who taught the dance class that's why we transition to just jymnastics they have made some wonderful staff changes recently on the new stuff that they have chosen including coached a seems to fit the atmosphere perfectly. Every coach/teacher is friendly and well-spoken they know all the children by names and faces they know the parents by first names as well. You are greeted with a smiling face and when you are leaving you are seeing smiling faces as well. I definitely feel as though my child is learning and absorbing it because everything is made into a fun game. We drive 45 minutes one way for our class and I would gladly drive even further if it meant that we got to continue at The Little gym. I constantly recommend them at work into other parents and am excited that I get to leave a positive review!

The Little Gym of Smyrna has been out go-to since our oldest turn 3 years old. We have been going for every camp and school break. The teachers are wonderful, the studio is filled with windows, and my daughter is safe and happy. We celebrated TWO birthdays at TLG this year and invited our whole neighborhood crew! It has been an incredible experience for my daughter! Little by little, my daughter has lost her fear on doing a roll, going up on the bars, doing a cartwheel, etc. etc. All of the coaches at The Little Gym has been very encouraging and supportive, guiding my daughter on what to do during class time, and also guiding parents on how to support kids at home and what kind of fun activities we can do so that our kids hear the same message, at the gym and at home. I truly thought my daughter would attend classes for a few months. However, it's more than half a year now, and she is so excited every time I say that we are going to The Little Gym! That says a lot to me. She is having fun, AND she is learning new skills and overcoming challenges.

I took my daughter for an introductory class earlier this week and she loved it so much she didn’t want to leave. She’s 2 years old and she pretty much marches to the beat of her own drum. I like that the instructors for the classes don’t force the kids to do the different things they are teaching. The class allows for lots of free play which worked perfectly. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the facility. I noticed after class the room was immediately disinfected and all adult were required to wear masks. We will be back again!

The coaches are so patient, even if your child is having a bad day. The classes are the perfect combination of structure and free play. The skills that the curriculum helps develop include much more than just physical, including sign language, manners and other social skills, not to mention balance and strength as you'd expect. We love The little gym of this location and both of my kids came here for group gym class of their age. The staff have their masks on and sanitized kids' hands when they walked in. They sanitized the gym and mop the floor after every class was finished. There staff are super nice, helpful and patient (even sometimes they didn't want to play.) I love how well and fun they design their class in different themes and improve their motor skills. They jump, run and use the gym equipments to gain the confidence and my kids surely have a lot of fun here. The instructors always encouraging the little ones to play and to explore and have smile on their faces even with the mask on! Lol. I highly recommend parents who have toddlers age kids to come.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with TLG, the gym is very small, the classes are 1 glass wall apart which is very distracting for the kids, they have very high tuition, very high registration cost, the staff is very rude especially when it comes to billing questions and class changing schedule questions, the make up class situation that they have in place is very confusing and makes absolutely no sense, I would have to call the same day of another class to see if there’s a spot available for a make up class!
They charge 5 days in advance for the upcoming month! Which is ABSURD! how am I paying for a gymnastic class before taking the class! I have requested to speak to the owner twice and still did not heard back from her! All the ladies/staff at the gym are rude when answering any question I may have(interrupting, smart responses back, repeating themselves without listening to my response) I am confused as to how they have a high star rating with this type of customer service, I am assuming parents just pay and don’t ask any questions! I will have my little one on the gym for this last month as I paid for it already and they won’t refund it and then I am taking her somewhere else to learn gymnastics and ballet that will have better staff and larger facility to learn and most likely cheaper tuition.

This is a cute little gym, and we wanted to love it unfortunately, despite their mission statements and what's presented upon signing up, it doesn't at all align with gentle parenting and we were faced with some rude, pushy and consecending teachers (I will add some were absolutely WONDERFUL too!). If you are into gentle/attachment parenting this isn't the gym for you. Upon joining, we were assured and assured we could help ease our nervous 3 year old into the class with several options but turns out if she's upset and needs to come out, it's a problem. After attempting to coach her in ourselves, we were approached and told rather rudely that we needed to move to the back so she can't see us while remaining out of her view and to "just leave her and go get coffee" while our daughter who is terrified of new places, screams and cries. I was extremely upset hearing this. Not only is this not our parenting style at all, it's also not at all how they made it seem the acclimation period would be. Today was her last class and the teacher tried to force my crying daughter to stay in, standing in front of the door, pushing her away where I clearly came to escort her out to leave (neither my daughter nor myself were opening the door ourselves at this time, I was motioning I wanted her out because she was clearly terrified and the teacher rolled her eyes at me)

My children know they ALWAYS have the ability to come to me if they are afraid or nervous, no matter where they are. Now, I'm certain the employees will respond to this review and explain the need for limited interruption to the class - I totally respect that. I understand classes need a flow and kids coming in and out frequently can disrupt that. However I think they're forgetting some of these little kids have never been around others like this before and this is brand new and scary for them. A little grace and compassion goes a long way and sadly I felt it lacking at Little Gym of Smyrna.

Terrible customer service! I brought my 10 month to try a class, my 3 year old tag along. In all the paperwork i filled out it never once said prior to trying the class that my 3yr old would have to wait in the lobby. It was spirit crushing to tell a child they couldn't come with me. I couldn't even focus on the class because he was crying and pouting at my through the window. I then found out that there was a toodler class directly following my 10 months old class, i asked if my toodler could try that class since he had to wait in the lobby. The workers just didn't seem to care that a young child was in tears. I decided to leave and take my money and kids elsewhere. Too bad for them i was planning to enroll my baby and book is 1 years old party there. For an establishment for children you think that theae workers would atleast have a bit of a conscious. I'm just annoyed i wasted my time.

We have such a fun time in Mrs. Amber's class! My daughter has blossomed in the year we have been taking classes and I'm so proud of all her accomplishments! We just had her 3rd Birthday party here and it completely exceeded my expectations! We LOVE the Little Gym of Smyrna! The entire staff (no exaggeration) are an extraordinary group of people. Many of the the staff have been there for years, they greet us by name with great big smiles and it feels like home. When new instructors join, they seamlessly blend with what we know and expect of TLG. I enjoy watching ,my daughter interact socially with new children and build friendships with her class mates. I have to admit I enjoy the social interaction with other parents. I see them at our local parks and its always nice to have a friend where ever we go because of our association with TLG. The little gym has played a huge part in helping my daughter increase her strength and body awareness. I specifically enrolled her in the gymnastics class to give her additional support in strengthening her core, balance and build self awareness of her body movements. TLG has been super fun for my family. During the classes they keep the kids engaged by moving quickly through activities so they don't get bored. I really like the "skills of the week" that the instructors talk about, it's nice to have some guidance on what to practice at home that is age appropriate. I also like that it's OK for the kids to explore around the gym even when the class is doing something else. My daughter is an explorer and doesn't like to sit still, I like that I am allowed to let her do so. We truly had an awesome experience hosting our daughter’s 7th Birthday Party at The Little Gym. This was our first time planning a birthday party, and we are so thrilled that everything went so well! We highly recommend The Little Gym. The staff were absolutely amazing, and catered to our every need! They were organized, friendly, helpful, and kept everything on schedule. The set up was exactly what we asked for, and the activities kept the kids engaged the entire time! The kids all had a blast! The Little Gym is a Big Gem that we are glad we discovered!

The crew kept the birthday boy feeling special and having fun the whole time. They also managed to entertain all the kids and adults and everyone told me they had a fun time! I really appreciated their help setting up and serving all the food and drinks to guests.

My son had his 3 year old Birthday Party there and we all had an amazing time. The place is built for kids of all ages, they ran around, jumped, climbed and played and everyone was smiling and laughing. We had about 15 kids which felt just right, the staff was awesome and well organized they were ready for my family and the party and immediately kicked off with activities for the kids. My son felt special as the staff celebrated his birthday and he was so happy. The Staff took care of gifts and even had the food laid out, all we brought was pizza and chicken nuggets and the kids and they did everything else. The other families said their children had a fun time and said they were going to choose Little Gym for their parties. We loved this place we would definitely go again and support them. We had a great time.

Organized, and the kids stay occupied. Set up and clean up is done. It helped so much that the staff served the food, and cuts the cake. I did not have to worry about anything. They packed everything up at the end of the party. It was great!

My kids love the little gym. My one year old is becoming more confident in moving around and beginning to walk on his own. Ms Destiny always encourages him to do his best and be brave. My three year old loves the jazzy bug class. She loves her teachers and learning dance techniques and going into the gym. This was a great gift idea that my mother n law blessed us with. We have enjoyed the summer session.

I love how organized The Little Gym team is. We've hosted our child's birthday twice at the little gym of Smyrna, and would absolutely have our children's parties there again. Other parents were asking me how I found this awesome venue! I love that it's an active, fun time where the kids are all together. Having the area completely booked for the birthday party is great. Team members, both years we had our parties, were sweet, engaging, helpful to us as parents trying to set up food etc. They literally take care of everything. The Dora and Princess themes are also lovely. Other themes available too. Many thanks to a fun, energetic and consistently professional team at the little gym.

We love the little gym! Ms Blair is amazing. Patient, kind, enthusiastic, encouraging, fun, supportive... I could go on all day! The facility is clean, inviting, and safe. Oscar has developed his gross motor skills as well as patience. We look forward to class and practice time every week.

I have loved The little gym since Oliver started almost 2 years ago. The teachers are wonderful! Ms Kate, Ms Destiny and Blair are wonderful teachers with kind hearts who truly care for the kids! We loved that everything was turn key and handled! My 2 year old son loved it, the instructors led everything and kept the kids entertained. It was very nice to have the facility to ourselves and our guests only. I would recommend adding an additional half hour as to not feel as though the party is rushed, we did and it was perfect! I would definitely recommend The Little Gym Smyrna for any party.

We held my son's 2nd birthday party at The Little Gym of Smyrna and could not have been more pleased with the experience. From the time we walked in the door until all presents were loaded in the car, the staff handled every important detail with a smile. I can't think of an easier party to throw. My son and his friends absolutely loved the gym equipment and planned activities. I loved the service, having the gym to ourselves, dedicated party room and the tremendous value for what we paid.
