I have been going to this location for adult aerial silks classes for over a year and the instructor Christina is fantastic. However, the overall management at this gym is very disappointing. Their website is difficult to navigate and they do not post updates/send emails when things change. They also consistently overbook the space with classes, open gym, and cheer practice all going on at once. The result is noisy, chaotic, and potentially unsafe. But on to my main grievance:

At the end of 2024 they introduced an annual fee of $45 (which I was happy to pay) but as it was explained, they were actually supposed to be charging this already and wanted to charge me retroactively for the past year and have me pay it again in early 2025. This was also not communicated over email, I was just told at the front desk one day and without confirming that I wanted to continue class given the updated terms, they went ahead charged my credit card. This is extremely unprofessional. They eventually sent an email out weeks later communicating the change and I paid the fee for for 2025 at the end of February. However, within a few weeks I was told they were no longer enforcing this for adult classes (no doubt due to drop off in participation).

Fast forward to this week and I notice that aerial silks classes are no longer listed on the website at all and I can't sign up. I called them 4 times throughout the day to try to confirm that the class was not happening and no one answered the phone. Finally, I resorted to DMing them on Instagram and they responded two days later telling me that they are taking a break for the summer. So now I have paid an annual fee that was dropped shortly after it was introduced for a class that is only offered for 2/3 of the year (assuming it resumes in the fall). Ultimately I don't care about losing $45 but the principle of the matter remains. Pretty disappointing.

We have had birthday parties in the past with good experiences.

My daughter did dance class there for the last year. I thought her teacher was great but ultimately the billing system is archaic and incredibly annoying. We were billed for all of January and most of February without going to the classes - I had a scheduling conflict but you have to give 60 days notice to stop the billing - and was told we could make it up later. No one said you have 30 days to complete the classes. Fast forward and we are billed for the single last class of May for $57. There is no discussion or flexibility.

As a busy mom, I can’t with these rigid contracts. There are too many options for 5 year olds to dance in the city to have to deal with this frustration

I enrolled my 3-year-old son here for about two months, and while he enjoyed the classes and had a great coach, I had some concerns that led to my decision to withdraw him.

Pros:
1. The classes were fun and engaging for my son.
2. His coach was excellent, and he genuinely enjoyed the experience.

Cons:
1. Limited Seating for Parents – The waiting area gets quite crowded, with some parents having to stand. Unfortunately, as a woman, I noticed that men rarely offered their seats. While this isn’t the center’s fault, it’s something to be aware of.

2. Lack of Diversity – Just something to note for those who value a more diverse environment.

3. Holiday Closures Without Make-Up Classes – Over the Christmas break, the center closed for three weeks, meaning we only attended one class that month while still paying the full monthly fee. They do offer camps, but those come at an additional cost. Another sport my child attends offers more flexible scheduling with make-up options, which I personally prefer.

4. Unpleasant Front Desk Experience – The final issue that prompted me to leave a review was an incident on my son’s last day. My husband took him to class for the first time and wasn’t aware of the entry code. When he asked the front desk staff for assistance, she seemed visibly annoyed, sighing and making it clear that it was an inconvenience for her. He explained that I usually bring our son and apologized for the oversight, yet she still responded rudely, saying not to let it happen again. While this may not seem like a major issue, her reaction felt unnecessarily harsh. Based on our experience, I can’t help but feel that had my husband been a white man, he may have been treated differently.

The owner/director was always polite and professional in our email exchanges during enrollment, but these factors ultimately led me to withdraw my son. This is just my honest perspective for other parents considering this facility.

We attended a birthday party at this facility in June 2023 and were quite excited to attend as we were in search of a facility for my son to explore his increased interest in gymnastics. However, we had a soul crushing experience that I feel the need to share as a mother of a 4 year old son. During the birthday party my son, was verbally berated by a coach to the point of tears. Inexplicably, all I heard was a loud verbal “NO SIR” which not only frightened me, my child, but other parents. Immediately, my son’s shoulders slumped, his head hung, and he began to cry as he was not permitted to enter the foam pit during the party. Imagine the isolation and embarrassment. As a mother, I was crushed. Other parents looked on in bewilderment and sympathy as my son couldn’t be consoled. Needless to say, we exited the party early. The offending coach (who I will not name, giving her the respect she failed to give me or my child), only came over to speak with me ONCE I stared in her direction. No apology was communicated but a callous explanation that she “thinks she scared him” and that he allegedly was jumping on top of other kids and could return when he “calmed down.” My son was visibly the youngest party attendant and has no malicious bone in his body. He merely was excited. By no means am I against my child being corrected, but this response fell woefully short of what was appropriate. The appropriate course was to speak to me not embarrass my child. We won’t be returning and if asked by parents of other young kids of potential spots to explore the offered services, I will certainly be honest. Not even my worst enemy deserved what took place.

2025 UPDATE: I called the facility back in 2023 the day after posting my initial review and spoke to someone regarding the incident. After speaking with a manager, I adopted a more forgiving sentiment that was misplaced and undeserved. In the days, weeks, and year that followed, I remained unsettled and here is why: As parents it is our job to protect our children, especially our littles. Bullying a child (3 y/o) is never OK and that is exactly what occurred. 2025 is the year of standing firm in principle and holding people accountable.

We hosted our son's 5th birthday at the Peach Pit on Collier Rd and had a great experience! Jordan and Masie were wonderful coaches and so helpful. I was very impressed at the turn key experience - it took the pressure off of us as parents and we were able to enjoy ourselves and our guests instead of hard core hosting duties. Thanks again to the whole Peach Pit team!

I signed my 3 year old up for hip hop dance classes here in August 2024 and was initially really excited because it’s very close to my home and I’ve always passed it and wanted to give them a try. But I quickly found out the toddler dance class is an absolute waste of time and money.

1. The very first day of class no one greeted us, and I had no idea of which room to go to and asked several coaches who ALSO did not know. Finally figured out which room to go to only to find out that the kids in the dance class (mind you these are toddlers from age 3 to 5) are in a room that has no camera so you CAN’T see what’s going on inside, and you have to peek through a very opaque small glass to barely see.

2. The dance teacher made my child cry on the first day because she allowed other children to take their shoes off and would not let my child take her shoes off. Not only did she make her cry, but when I peeked in the window, she was sitting in the corner crying while the teacher was going on with the class and the other children like my child was not even there. I immediately opened the door and confronted the teacher to find out what was going on. When she explained the situation, I had to tell her that these are toddlers so you need to give them an explanation as to why child can do something and others can’t . It definitely left a bad taste in my mouth considering my child is only Black child in the classroom. There was no major on site to speak to, which is also concerning… Why is there never any management there after 5 o’clock? ! I did email to complain and heard back from the manager.

3. The dance teacher has absolutely no classroom management whenever I peek into the classroom. The kids are often running around in circles not doing the dance and it’s just an absolute waste of time and money. Again, yes these are 3 to 5-year-olds but I have sat in on other dance classes where it was much more organized.

4. You have to cancel by the 15th for the next month so because I did not, I had to pay for an additional month and waste even more of my money and we ended up coming from August to October.

Again, look somewhere else for dance. Maybe they are good at gymnastics and cheer but dance is not up to par for toddlers.

Im so happy that they offer adult tumbling classes. I'm not sure how long they've been hosting them but for the last 8 years that I've seen the building from I-75, I've always wanted to take classes! This past Saturday was my first class and coach Anthony was amazing. The prices are really great and the lessons are truly tailored to everyone in the class. There were some more advanced tumblers and there was myself and a few other newcomers. We all felt welcomed & were cheered on and encouraged as we tried handstands & round offs and other things. Hopefully they keep the adult tumbling program, it's really great!!!

I registered for a class and was not aware of how to cancel so now they will not give me a refund for a class that has not started yet. Wow. Now I have to go through my bank in order to receive my money back.

Update: You guys respond to say that you hope to see me my daughter in a class that haven’t started yet just because you were able to take my money. Unbelievable.

A lovely place to train that I look forward to every week. My only complaint is the (current) lack of open gym on the weekends. Hopefully that will change as it is hard for me to make time during the week.

My 5 yr old does ninja gymnastics here' all the trainers seem very experienced and always provide good feedback what your child is doing well and what they can improve on. Only draw back is the screen where you can see your kids aren't the best and taking into account that it is a gym the camera angles aren't the greatest.

Peach Pit is a nice place to take your children for toddler time. The children get to run around, jump on the trampolines, jump into the foam pit, and use the balance beams. It's tons of fun!

I love the peach pit they have a great program and amazing coaches. Camp is also a blast!! The coaches are so kind prepared and helpful last week the amazing coach Pat Chu taught me a Backtuck ( Backflip ) into the pit in under an hour highly recommended. Lots of different programs I am sure you will find something. Also if you’re not fully convinced you should pay for an entire season or can’t find the right class you can also do a private lesson.

Both of my daughters adore the peach pit! The coaches are fun, caring & responsive to my girls needs!! All the coaches have always been willing to work with our family to overcome any bumps in the road or when scheduling conflicts arise. Sarah Rhino has done a terrific job and cares about all of her team girls! I was so touched the day she personally called to tell me how proud she was of one my daughter’s very hard earned successes.

Don't use this place for any sort of camp! My toddler daughter was signed up for a summer camp this week. I received a report that she had a wonderful first day and she was even excited to go the next day. Nothing seemed out of place. I then received a disturbing voicemail from the manager that my daughter was "inconsolable" and had been that way since the beginning of camp (what happened to the glowing report we received?) and that she was not welcome to return for the remainder of the week. This of course left us scrambling for coverage. My daughter has been to other camps and NEVER had an issue. Beware parents of toddlers, not sure what is going on there, but I won't place my child in their care again.

Update - I feel the need to clear up information in Sarah’s response. I did not initially receive any refund. I had to ask for one, and I only received a partial refund. I then had to follow up and request a full refund. Also, the manager did not “speak” with me today, but sent me an email which among other things stated “You were accidentally permitted to enroll but with the sheer number of children attending summer camp, again, the environment isn't safe for a child who hasn't matured and developed to the age that is safe and appropriate.” Before I signed my daughter up for camp, I called and confirmed that she was age appropriate. Also, she attended a camp at Peach Pitt when she was about 5 months younger. I’m sorry that your manager didn’t provide you all the information. My warning to toddler parents stands, this is not a good place for your child.

7/24 - Giving a 1 star. Nice facilities and it actually smells good, but that is as far as I was able to get. I was looking for a gymnastics program for my 8 year daughter (currently a level 3), beyond just paying to take general classes. I emailed with their director for an entire month in an attempt to schedule an evaluation/consultation. After 4 rounds of me "following up" and her replying with "Let me check and I will get back to you", I finally gave up. After addressing the lack of attentiveness, the final answer was "Sorry I dropped the ball. I hope you find a gym that meets your needs". WOW!!! This gym may work, if you just want to go online to pay a fee and show up for classes. However, if you are looking to actually meet with someone to get started on a "program" .... GOOD LUCK!!!! The facilities exceed BY FAR the customer service.

UPDATE: Moving to 3 stars. After hearing of my negative experience, Stephanie (Cheer Director) called personally to apologize. She was able to schedule my daughter for an eval on the same day with Amber. She was super sweet, and took her time with my daughter. She answered all of my questions, and was able to give me what I needed. I enrolled my daughter. I got a follow up phone call from the owner as well. I appreciate them "righting" the wrong. I look forward to the upcoming season. Giving a 3 stars for now. We will see how the classes go.

12/12 Update: I made it a point to come back to give an update, because I believe in being fair with both the positive and negative. I am SO GLAD that I gave the Peach Pit another chance (which is rare for me). This has been the gym that I've been looking for over the past 3 years for my daughter. She LOVES it, and so do I. All of the coaches are extremely friendly. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, not that "big gym" feel. I even enrolled my daughter in private lessons with Coach Amber, and my daughter just adores her. She has progressed more in the past 3 months than she has in a whole year at some of the other area gyms. I hate that I didn't find this sooner. Thanks Coach Sara and the Peach Pit staff!

The office staff does not know what they are doing. The coaches are nice. My daughter attended this gym on Spring. Back on February/March I tried to register my daughter for Fall, I was told byMichelle that they were not registering for Fall yet and she stopped the transaction. I asked her when would they start the Fall registration. She told me I should receive an email from them. Since I never received the email, I went ahead and called them. Michelle told me they were full already and that all she could do was to put my daughter on the waiting list. I reminded her about our conversation, of course she said "she did not say that." She said the Fall registration started back on february. On top of that, she offered to help me find another gym for my daughter, that was an insult to me. I felt she just did not want my daughter there. I would not recommend this gym, we were not happy since the beginning because they are not organized.
