Thunderbolt has seriously declined in class quality and professionalism over the last 6 months. Stacey and Joanna are the only good instructors left. The newer teachers lack ingenuity and give spotty verbal prompts. I use to visit via ClassPass but there are better hot options in Buckhead such as Bring it Om, Highland Yoga or CorePower. A friend had the monthly membership and their rewards program is sketchy. The rules changed multiple times about how one earns points and what rewards you receive. Numerous billing errors - one time she was double charged for membership, then mistakenly charged for guests that were supposed to be free based on her point accumulation, over charged for merchandise that was supposed to be discounted. You have to watch your account like a hawk to ensure that your are treated fairly. Do not be fooled by the five star reviews from 2 years ago. This is no longer a good studio.

I absolutely love Thunderbolt! The structures of the classes are great. I also love how hot it gets in the room which makes the lavender towel afterward even better. Iβve enjoyed each instructor as they have their own βspinβ on the class. Regularly going to Thunderbolt has significantly helped my stress and digestive issues. Thank you!!!

Advanced-heated power flow was one of the best yoga classes I've taken. Carlina is an amazing teacher.

The actual studio is great! They sell gear in the front, so you can stay fresh and fly. The rooms include inspirational quotes to get you through the class lol. Very cool.
Liz's class is pretty awesome. She incorporates challenging poses and transitions. Plus, she inserts new moves at the end to test the more advanced.
Note: The class seems to get pretty packed... and hot. So, expect to break a sweat.. early. Also, they normally charge to rent the mats and towels, but the first one's on the house.

Have attempted to go here many times. Classes are always WAY to packed. not sure how anyone can take basics classes here and be properly assisted when the instructor has more than 15 people in one class for only 45 minutes. I went here several time back in December and had issues then. Of course I sent an email after my very first experience here and the staff wanted to be very snarky via email. So I tried a hips an hamstring class, which is only offered 2X per week. Not worth me paying $100.00 per month.
BEGINNERS STAY AWAY!!!!! THIS PLACE IS A MONEY PIT!!!!!

I moved here in January from New York and I was looking for a way to meet new people and also stay healthy. I was definitely intimidated that the classes were going to be too challenging but the instructors here really make it easy to learn new asanas. They break things down for you, even in the advanced classes! Everyone is super friendly. I love the fast-pace of the classes. They are never boring. I also love the modern and fun music. Thunderbolt definitely stands out from any other yoga studio I've ever been to. I love it!

I have tried every yoga studio in the Buckhead area and none compare to Thunderbolt! A studio without mirrors, each class is about flowing with how you feel rather than judging your movements based on appearance. I leave each class stronger, rejuvenated and with a boosted self-esteem. Great for beginners and advanced yogis alike, don't hesitate to give Thunderbolt a try!

This was the first yoga studio I've ever been to and I can't say enough good things about them. I tried yoga so many times via YouTube videos or just on my own, and couldn't get into it at all. I didn't know what to expect walking into Thunderbolt, but WOW am I glad I did. It has started a yoga obsession in me that I never thought I'd have. I'm usually an intense cardio lover.
The employees are friendly and welcoming, the studio is super clean and it has a great atmosphere. I love that there are spaces on the floor that tell you were to put the corners of your yoga mat so that there's no confusion or moving around to make room for more people. I love the huge elephant painted on the wall and the bright colors throughout. As a beginner, I have not felt intimidated once and only inspired and motivated by the other amazing yogis in the room. That being said, I honestly don't feel like anyone is judging me and I find myself not paying much attention to the other people either (except to be in awe and inspiration at their poses) which is so important for a newcomer.
Every instructor I've had has been inspiring and helpful and totally enjoyable. I've even been sore the next couple days from how much I've stretched out - it's great! The room is heated, but not so much that I'm slipping everywhere and I sweat a lot. They also burn incense and play background music. My favorite part though is the lavender-soaked towels they hand out at the end of class. So relaxing and smell amazing.
Will be coming back here until I can not physically do it anymore. I just really wish they had one right next to my house (I live in Dunwoody/Perimeter area) so I could come every morning. Thank you Thunderbolt Power Yoga!

I went to Thunderbolt with a friend who's a 'yogi' and swears by Carly and this studio. It was only my second attempt at yoga. I paid $40 for unlimited classes for 30 days. The studio was always very clean and the staff was friendly, courteous and very welcoming. Even though I wasn't as good as 90% of the people there, the instructors took time away from the class to help me with my poses. I'd highly recommend this studio to anyone who's a yoga enthusiast.

I have been to many yoga studios in Atlanta and they are all great, but Thunderbolt is by far my favorite. This is such a friendly, welcoming studio with a true sense of community. This studio is accessible to all levels and focuses on instructors who truly see their students. You will not have an instructor simply practicing at the front of the class; instead they will walk around and assist to help everyone reach their highest potential. Come for the heat or for the cool lavender towel at the end of class and you will leave with an amazing feeling of accomplishment both physical and spiritual.
PS - If you are new and timid I highly recommend Becky's basics classes, she is amazing and there are always other beginners in class!

Thunderbolt Power Yoga is such a fun an inspiring place to practice - I love the words of encouragement at the end of every class. Every teacher and class is unique, but most "flow" classes follow a similar structure. Every time I visit, I feel empowered and ready to take on the world. It also helps that the studio is very clean and you get fresh lavender towels to help you cool down after a tough class. I highly recommend you giving this place a try. You will be pleasantly surprised at what your body and your mind can accomplish with a little encouragement.
