I’ve been on Tirzepatide for a few months now and like a lot of people, I was worried about losing hard-earned muscle along with the fat. That’s when I decided to work with the team at Tmaxfit, and honestly, it was the best decision I made during this whole GLP-1 journey.
From day one, they took the time to understand I was on Tirzepatide and built a plan specifically around preserving (and actually building) muscle while the medication did its thing on the fat. My coach adjusted my macros so I stayed in a very mild deficit but still hit 1.8–2g of protein per kg of bodyweight every single day, added strategic refeed days, and dialed in progressive overload even when my appetite was basically nonexistent.
The results speak for themselves:
• Dropped 28 lbs of almost pure fat in 12 weeks
• Added visible size to my shoulders, arms, and back
• Strength is up on every big lift — in some cases doubled
What I loved most was how responsive and science-based they were. No bro-science, no pushing endless supplements, just constant check-ins, and tweaks whenever my energy or recovery felt off from the Tirzepatide side effects or my age. They clearly have a lot of experience coaching people on GLP-1s, which is huge because most generic online coaches have no clue how these meds change everything.
If you’re using Tirzepatide (or Semaglutide, etc.) and refuse to accept muscle loss as “part of the deal,” do yourself a favor and reach out to Tmaxfit. They turned what could have been a skinny-fat nightmare into the most aesthetic recomp of my life.

I originally had a great time there and the trainers are very knowledgeable.
I paid in advance all my funds.
I had to cancel due to my work schedule being hectic and mother’s cancer progressing . They would not refund my money or hurry up with cancellation.
Would never recommend the place and it’s a shame as I have spoken to his group before in a professional setting as a presenter years back..
Still haven’t received word on if I’ll receive my money or when . I’m now owed 1400-1500 dollars

I joined Tmaxfit a month ago after being sedentary for a few years. I was very nervous to get started because it’s been such a long time since I was active, and I have not had great experiences with personal trainers in the past. I am so happy I found this gym! I usually go to the gym in the morning and David and Dawson are great to work with. They do an excellent job of demonstrating every exercise for all member - beginners and advanced more members alike - and keeping everyone motivated and on track. I have wanted to be active again for a while, but didn’t know how to get started. Now, I look forward to the next class, and David and Dawson have helped me push myself harder than I ever would have done on my own (in a good way). Even though I have a long way to go, I already feel stronger and more in tune with myself than I have felt in a long time. Also, the other members are so friendly and supportive of each other. It’s a great community! If you are looking for a new gym to either get back into exercise or to enjoy a tough workout with great people, I highly recommend Tmaxfit!

I’ve been coming here since February 2025. I joined because I was struggling staying consistent. I would go strong for maybe two weeks or even a month if I was lucky. Then something in life would happen and I’d be back to not working out. But the supportive environment makes all the difference and it has truly been a game-changer for me. I haven’t missed a week of working out since I joined.

Isaiah is the only trainer I’ve worked with. He is absolutely incredible! His energy is contagious. In April I found Tmaxfit while looking for a personal trainer. I couldn't know how much of a life changing move that was at the time but I do now. Travis, the owner, walked me through what things were like there and has always been informative, helpful and encouraging. He meets you where you're at and that is a special skill. There are usually several trainers working at any given time putting clients through a workout that is focused on their goals. At first my focus was weight loss and trying to tone up after years of not taking those things very seriously. I have been blown away by the workouts, they are tough but in a good way (I needed that because just going to a gym, or not, and not having much of a focus, or anyone to really direct or encourage me, was a losing battle) and the results have been more than I could have hoped for. Down 47 pounds in six months and feeling as good as I have in 20 years has been more than encouraging and my focus and goals have shifted to trying to push myself a little more every day. If you want nutritional support, and a plan, they’ve got that too. The trainers are excellent, not hovering but always clear with instruction and super knowledgeable. Big shout out to Isaiah and Ashlyn who help me to see that I can do some things that maybe I doubt I can. Just can’t say enough about the experience or the general good vibes of the studio. The clientele are great too. If you are at the point of being ready for a change and are willing to put in a little work, you cannot do better than this place.

I’m so glad I signed my young student athlete up for the G.R.I.T. Program. She learned the proper way to perform a lot of exercises, her conditioning improved drastically, and she also learned mental fortitude. I, as the parent, had an opportunity to attend a mental skills development class held at TMaxFit as well which was very informative. I cannot recommend this place enough! As a plus size person (350+) it is hard to find a safe environment to start your journey. Tmax is truly a no judge zone! The trainers not only cultivate a safe environment but take time to explain exercises and how/why they will help!

My favorite part is the trainers tailor workouts to each client's fitness level. During my regular 7am slot - there are variety of clients from athletes, strength conditioning, to weight loss like me. We all have different goals and exercises we are doing at the same time! I have gained new friends that I look forward to sweating with!

Travis is great. He provides different types of workouts that address the same body parts differently so it keeps my muscles active.
I have lower back problems and he understands that keeping my core strong helps with my back so he incorporates core exercises in every single workout session.
What I value the most about working out with Travis is the flexibility I have.
