I had a pretty serious incident recently at TOCA Loganville involving a good buddy of mine. We both play there a lot—usually on Tuesdays, though on different teams. When I got there that night, I found my friend passed out on the field—pale, unresponsive, and out cold for a while. It took the paramedics around 20–30 minutes to show up. Once she got to the hospital, doctors said she had a 101°F fever from overheating, which they blamed on how bad the air circulation was inside the facility. Considering her health issues, that could’ve ended way worse—possibly fatal.
After that, TOCA finally decided to fix the air conditioning. But honestly, it’s frustrating that it took something this serious to get them to act on a problem that’s been going on forever. I’m worried the other issues I’ve mentioned before won’t get fixed until another major incident happens.
The turf on both fields is still a mess—and getting worse. When I brought up that the turf on the big field was coming loose and causing tripping hazards, I was told it would be “super glued back down” as a temporary fix. That’s not only unprofessional, it’s dangerous. There are soft spots, ripped sections, and lifted edges all over that field. The smaller field, where kids practice, is the total opposite—it’s rock hard, basically like playing on concrete. Both setups are accidents waiting to happen.
The ref situation is another huge issue. There are usually only two refs working games, which just isn’t enough to control things or keep players safe. I personally fractured a toe, and my doctor told me one more hit could’ve shattered the bone. On top of that, I know two players who tore their ACLs—injuries that probably could’ve been avoided if the turf and officiating were better.
I’ve also dealt with verbal and physical assaults at TOCA. Even after reporting them, Leo still hasn’t handled things properly. There’s no consistency—some people get banned for defending themselves, while others who start fights or harass players (myself included) get a free pass.
The lack of leadership and proper management is fueling more fights, arguments, and unsafe situations overall. It’s honestly taking a toll—not just on me but on a lot of players who go there regularly.
To sum it up: yeah, it’s good they finally fixed the AC, but there are still major safety issues and no real accountability. TOCA Loganville needs to take serious action now before someone else gets seriously hurt.

UPDATE:
I recently experienced a very concerning situation at TOCA Loganville involving a close friend of mine. We both play there frequently—typically on Tuesdays, though on separate teams. Upon arriving at TOCA Loganville, I found my friend lying unconscious and pale on the field. She had passed out and remained unconscious for some time. It took paramedics approximately 20–30 minutes to arrive. When she was finally transported to the hospital, doctors informed her that she had a fever of 101°F, which they attributed to overheating caused by the lack of air circulation inside the facility. Given her existing medical conditions, the outcome could have been far worse, and she could have suffered severe injury or even death.
Following this incident, TOCA finally addressed the air conditioning issue. However, it is extremely concerning that it took a near-tragic event to prompt action on a problem that had been ongoing for so long. I fear that the numerous other issues I have previously raised will not be addressed until another serious incident occurs.
The turf on both fields remains in dangerous condition and has worsened over time. When I previously mentioned that the turf on the larger field was lifting—creating a significant tripping hazard—I was told it would be “super glued back on” as a temporary fix. This approach is unsafe and unprofessional. There are multiple areas on the larger turf field that are excessively soft, deteriorating, or lifting, which puts players at continued risk of injury. Similarly, the smaller field—where children train—is still extremely hard, comparable to concrete, and poses serious safety concerns.
Additionally, the shortage of referees remains a critical issue that directly affects player safety. There are typically only two referees at TOCA Loganville, which is insufficient to properly manage games and prevent injuries. I personally suffered a fractured toe, and my doctor informed me that one more impact could have shattered the bone entirely. I also know two players who have suffered ACL tears—injuries likely caused by both poor turf conditions and inconsistent refereeing.
Beyond the physical hazards, I have personally experienced both verbal and physical assault at TOCA. Despite reporting these incidents, Leo has repeatedly failed to take appropriate disciplinary action against the offending individuals. There appears to be a pattern of inconsistent and unfair enforcement—some players have been banned for simply defending themselves, while others who have assaulted or harassed players, including myself, face no consequences.
The lack of proper management and de-escalation from leadership has led to an increase in fights, verbal abuse, and overall unsafe conditions. These repeated incidents are taking a serious toll on my health and well-being, as well as that of other players.
In summary, while I appreciate that the air conditioning issue has finally been addressed, the ongoing safety hazards and lack of accountability at TOCA Loganville continue to place players at significant risk. Immediate and comprehensive action is needed to ensure the facility is safe for everyone.

We have been playing here for 10+ years under a contract. It was time to renew and they said sorry someone beat you to it. How can you give away our spot without asking us first if we want to continue or not? So we waited for the next spot to be available, we booked it, now they call back saying we over booked, come get your money back. No other explanation, no solution, no care.
This new ownership is lazy, unorganized and very unprofessional. 1 star is too much.

The facility under Peter’s management is much better than what used to be, friendly and attentive. They were quick to assist with any questions I had and made the check-in process ect …. You could tell they genuinely care about creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through the doors.
They offer a variety of leagues and pickup games for all skill levels. I participated in a pickup game, and it was a great, some great players, and the competitive spirit was just right—everyone was there to have fun.

Under its previous management as Creekside Sports Center, the facility was more organized, better staffed, and overall more enjoyable. Staff and referees consistently enforced rules, ensured all participants were registered and on rosters, maintained accurate schedules, and upheld safety standards—including functional air conditioning. Additionally, the cost structure was more accessible, with a one-time fee that encouraged higher participation; at one point, the Sunday league had as many as 15 teams, compared to the current six.
Since the transition to TOCA Loganville, however, my experience has deteriorated significantly. My primary concern is player safety. The condition of both fields is unacceptable. The turf is worn and hazardous, leading to an increased risk of injury. Despite repeated issues, management has not replaced or repaired the turf, nor has there been any effort to restore air conditioning. These are basic necessities—especially considering this is marketed as a family- and youth-friendly facility. The lack of air circulation poses serious health risks, particularly for children and individuals with underlying health conditions.
In addition to these issues, the facility is severely understaffed when it comes to referees. The few referees on staff are often unable—or unwilling—to manage games properly or defuse conflicts. As a result, altercations have become common ( If TOCA took precautions like stopping the game when it gets too heated for a certain amount of time to deescalate or even having more than one referee on the field especially during playoffs, that would make all the differences). Several referees either fail to move around the field or depend on players to make calls, which compromises both fairness and safety. I’ve personally experienced instances where fouls were ignored, and referees admitted to “doing their best” rather than enforcing rules effectively.
Specific incidents include:
A referee admitting he relies on players to call fouls.
Inconsistent or biased officiating, demonstrated unprofessional behavior, including inappropriate language toward players and favoritism.
Staff admitting to allowing certain players to participate for free, which is unfair to paying members (The monthly fee/membership is fairly expensive and is only beneficial for players that play for multiple leagues and plays pickup).
Repeated scheduling errors by staff, including mismanaged “BYE” games, resulting in teams not receiving the full number of games paid for.
The staff makes up rules as they goes and doesn’t even really know the original rules of the faculty. Sometimes they follow the original rules, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they create rules as they go and they won’t even notify anybody about them.
The facility’s management and staff also appear more focused on playing soccer themselves than on performing their jobs. Staff often participate in games during work hours, and critical tasks like scheduling are delayed or poorly executed. There is a lack of professionalism, consistency, and accountability that continues to impact the experience for paying members.
Lastly, the pickup games are also problematic. They are held on unsafe, outdated turf and lack proper supervision. Even the recent wristband system for regulation is inconsistently enforced.
In summary, TOCA Loganville is failing to provide a safe, organized, and professional environment. Longstanding players like myself are losing trust in the facility. If these issues are not addressed, I fear even more players will choose to go elsewhere in search of better value, safety, and structure including myself.
I strongly urge management to take these concerns seriously and implement immediate changes to improve safety, accountability, and professionalism across all aspects of the facility.
Thank you for your time and attention.

They have innovative-tech based training to perfect you handling your kicking skills and ultimately achieving a goal. The facility is great and clean, and so is the field. We've been playing at this location for years—even before it became TOCA. However, the refereeing needs serious improvement. Our team pays every month to come here and enjoy fair games, but it's frustrating to deal with the same issues over and over.
We've been told for the past two years that changes are being made regarding the referees, but nothing seems to happen. We've asked multiple times, yet it feels like no one is listening or taking action. It’s disappointing, especially when this place promotes itself as being kid-friendly and welcoming.
We love the facility, but we really hope TOCA starts taking this issue seriously.

3/22/25 UPDATE: So far, everything seems to be going well with implementing new changes and listening to concerns.
The biggest thing I wish to see change now, is a stronger focus on the women's league, taking into account that women are more likely to have children to care for, so late games are hard, and women are less likely to be able to spend the same amount of money on soccer as young men can. I don't personally have this issue, but many women I enjoy playing with have had to leave due to the price increase and later game start time.
UPDATE: I had a great conversation with Paul, the overall manager, today, and I am hopeful in seeing the concerns of myself and others addressed and changed. I will update accordingly.
-----
I keep getting spammed with emails and texts to leave a review, so here it is.
This is strictly about the ADULT leagues, not about their training for kids.
--------
The management here is a joke. The rules change day by day to benefit whoever the manager likes the most, which is other employees (their trainers) 90% of the time.
They pinned a QR code to the rulebook everywhere inside, but then never follow the actual rulebook. When asked about it, they say that it's changed, but never change the rulebook. The next week, when I try to do the same thing that I was told was the new rule, I'm told to follow the rulebook by the exact same manager.
The "Match Captains" (aka referees), are too busy arguing with players or talking to their friends on the sideline to watch the game. My sister had her rib broken here with no foul called. A few weeks later she was getting fouled and kindly brought it to the refs attention at halftime and he told her "you're athletic so you can handle it" with zero regards for her health and well-being. He then told her after the match that she "is clearly a good player and should want play to continue instead of having fouls called" to try to convince her that she shouldn't be asking for a foul to be called to try to protect herself. Sure, we want to play competitive soccer, but we don't want broken bones and injuries that make us have to miss work.
The managers let the trainers do whatever they want. They have multiple times affected the Friday league games by pretending to be on the roster or aggressively pushing people who are on the roster to let them play. They could be on the roster and play on a team if they wanted to for only half the price, but they know that they can do it for free so why bother.
They also are able to break the rules whenever they want. I asked for a late roster change early this season and was told that it would be unfair to change the rosters at this point in the season. Okay, I understand that. I agree. Then 2 weeks later, 3 weeks before playoffs, he moves three trainers off of my team and on to a different team because they asked him to, leaving my team playing a man or two down the rest of the season. It's an entire season of wasted money now, all for people who don't even pay to play, or, if they do it the correct way, only pay half of what everyone else pays.
The prices have increased a ton while the quality keeps going down. Upper management keeps saying that they will make changes and they never do.
The only reason adults still play here is that it's the only place to play within an hour drive, but they are starting to lose all of us too, because it simply isn't worth it anymore. I've been playing here for years and am giving it one more season to improve before I'd rather drive an hour away twice a week to play somewhere where they actually care about me as a paying customer and my health. I REALLY want this place to be better, and they can be, if they choose to.

I have been playing here for almost 10 years and it is continuously getting worse. Prices have gone up, rules are not consistent from game to game or season to season, game times change DAY OF with as little as 1 hour notice, staff is not trained and all questions are directed to one person who is also not consistent. You can open the rule book when you have questions and be told “that’s changed” but no new rules have been issued. It is quite literally chaos. I have been getting over-charged for months and left a message for the manager with no response for three weeks.
Location is the only reason they stay in business.

My son plays soccer at GSA and I was looking for ways for him to keep working on his game during the off season. We have done a session at the Perimeter location and decided to give Loganville a try since its closer and more convenient.
I am really impressed with the facility its clean you can tell they have made considerable investment to provide the TOCA experience. We do are sessions with Coach Ervin who is just a great person and feel lucky to have had him since the start. He is exceptional and patient with young children so ask for him if your child is young.
The training sessions have been very good. I've watched my son grow/develop as a player in areas that needed improvement. More importantly, he has a ton of fun. There is a scoreboard to keep track of accuracy and repetitions which makes the training interactive.
The one ask I would have of them is to review the pricing structure. It is expensive but the value is there.
All in all, as long as my son desires to keep playing soccer we will be members of TOCA Soccer Loganville!

We had a recent mishap with winter break camp being canceled for the day last minute due to staff clerical errors, but the manager called and explained the situation kindly and offered to make things right. He shared plans for working with staff to improve communication and processes, and I appreciated how he handled the situation.
The summer camp experience was overall positive. Coaches were patient and supported my kiddos through some social skill deficits. His interest in soccer grew and his skills began developing. It is frustrating that parents are not allowed to leave the facility during the child’s class time, even when the children are older and perfectly capable of attending class/practice without a parent watching. It eats up a lot of parent time for no reason, and makes it such a bigger commitment for working parents. Most of the staff are kind, friendly, welcoming, and patient. I did feel disregarded and belittled by one of the woman working the front desk in the evening- as if I were an annoying bother to her. If I hadn’t already had positive experiences with several of the other staff members, I certainly would’ve taken my child and left. Hopefully, she remains the anomaly.

My 9 year old son has been going to weekly training sessions at this location for the past couple of months and I have nothing but high praise. The staff is great, the location is very clean and welcoming, no complaints at all. Coach Daniel has done wonders with my 9 year-old, and he continues to push him at an appropriate speed and level and you see the results weekly. I played two seasons here at Toca on Friday Nights in the Adult League and it was fun and competitive. I like that there was good competition and energy.
The biggest difference between Toca and other surrounding soccer facilities is that I was able to join a team that the League Coordinator made and was able to play and meet new people immediately.
Most places I’ve been to I would have to ask permission from the individual team captains or teams themselves and would often be rejected.
The referees can be better but they’re humans too and can often make mistakes. I’ve been a referee before and I know how hard it can be to try to make every call but some of them will be missed.
I would recommend playing here on Friday Nights in the adult league! I love the thrill of being put in a new team every season and building chemistry on the field.

Since the recent management changes, TOCA Soccer in Loganville has been disappointing. Although the front desk staff is “friendly” (some), even they seem left in the dark about decisions or rule changes, often them telling us that they receive no clear communication from Peter or other managers.
Prices have been raised, but the experience doesn’t reflect that increase. Rule changes have been implemented with no communication to players, leading to more confusion and frustration. In one league, I witnessed Peter engaging in a heated argument, using foul language with a player, which was far from the professionalism expected from a manager. Rather than de-escalating situations, he tends to fuel the fire, seemingly unable to manage the pressures of his role. This unprofessional behavior from management only adds to the disappointment.
Overall, TOCA Soccer in Loganville has taken a turn, and it’s clear that things need serious improvement.

This place has completely gone downhill since TOCA has taken over. It is definitely a business now and not family oriented. The staff and management have no control and management is rude and combative. He asks for input to make the place better, but still does whatever he wants anyway. It’s a complete joke. Creekside had its issues, but absolutely nothing compared to this place now. Been playing here over 10 years and I’ve seen more fights break out since TOCA has taken over than ever and now there are talks of them getting a liquor license to start selling alcohol. There’s too many altercations without alcohol so I can only imagine how it’s going to be with the alcohol. Management doesn’t respond to emails or return phone calls and he leaves his poor staff to fend for themselves and deal with customers because he doesn’t want to deal with complaints or concerns. Previous manager Andrew was way more professional and he listened to what you had to say and your concerns. It’s all so unfortunate because it’s a nice facility and the location is convenient.

We are really excited to see where TOCA can take my sons technical skills and ability to play better as a kid. Thank you for being so patient with my son.

Horrible lack of communication. When I’ve called, I haven’t been able to get anyone to answer or return messages. I’ve recently contacted them AGAIN via email, Danny Simpson specifically, and have yet to receive a reply or courtesy call back. Please take your business to a different Toca location. The Toca location in Franklin, Tn (where my son practiced this summer) was FANTASTIC!!!!! All the locations don’t operate as unprofessionally as Loganville.

Seriously this program is not worth the money. I watched tonight as a ref stood by while a player got knocked to the ground. A fight broke out. AGAIN! 6 police cars were called in Wednesday. Not safe for families. Stay away!!!’ Edit after toca responded.
Toca says we should contact their office with concerns. I did. I talked to the man at the desk on Sunday night. He said there wasn’t anything he could do about it and referred me to Peter or Paul. He didn’t know anyone else to call. I emailed through the TOCA website and have not received a response.

Do not play here! Most of the referees do not know what they are doing and one of our players was assaulted today during a semi final and it started a fight, it’s way to expensive to be worried about assault in the “causal” Sunday league. It used to be fun but is a waste of money now.

Since TOCA, and Coach Danny in particular, have taken over, my family of three boys have grown in skill, self-confidence and love for the game of soccer.
Coach Danny's interactions with our 3 year old has provided him with social skills that allow him to join in on soccer play with children his age and older. He looks forward to his weekly sessions and often tells me, "I worked hard with Coach Danny." His understanding of the game gets better every week.
The 9 year old just started this year, and, is also growing in skill and confidence.
The biggest growth we've seen is in the 13 year old who has played indoor and outdoor soccer for several years. He has commented on the high caliber of coaches who work with him each week. They focus on improving each person's skills. They encourage camaraderie, fairness, and good sportsmanship.
The facilities have changed for the better as well with special areas for one on one improvement.
The coaching staff are exceptional and always professional and kind. The areas, bathrooms and sitting, are always clean which is extremely important with a bunch of sweaty children.
We LOVE TOCA!

Jack Sewell has impressed me with his skills at teaching soccer. I have received comments from my grandsons, who are 10 yo and 13 yo, that Jack is their favorite trainer because of the way he explains the how and the why of the skills he teaches. I've seen this first-hand when Jack referees the games. He calmly calls a foul on a player and takes the time to explain why. Jack demonstrates to his students that while winning is the goal, playing your best and knowing the rules of the games are equally important. He's a great teacher! I can see this young man go far in whatever he chooses to do.

Toca just leveled up big time !! Me and my brothers paid $80 each last season to play and now they created this Membership program that will allow us to play much more and overall better bang for your buck! I’m excited for this personally because honestly I did not like only playing one time a week, now we can play multiple games throughout the week and I can also play pick up games in the week as well, and the environment in Toca is just unmatched, been coming here since it was called Creekside, and now that Toca has taken over, it has been more of a professional environment and the employees have been extremely nice and always greet the customers with respect, and lastly the manager Peter, he is the man, He really got me back into playing soccer!

Turf could use some love. Don’t like the price changes. I’m only available for one team and one appearance a week. So price for more than one team and practice times are not an advantage for me. Also don’t like the over 30coed has only one league instead of A and B. Many B teams can’t compete.

TOCA has been my go-to soccer complex for years now. I've been playing here since it was Creekside with Andrew managing the location and have seen it change constantly throughout the seasons. Andrew was a nice guy and ran things well so I was worried when he had to step away from his position. Fortunately, his replacement, Peter, has been doing a phenomenal job at running the leagues. He's a great guy who really listens to feedback and tries his best to make the leagues run smoothly. I highly recommend anyone, new to soccer and seasoned players, to join a league here at TOCA :)

I was physically assault during an adult league game here and I was banned for 10 weeks! I did not retaliate after being punched in the face by another player, my main offense it seems was attempting to file a report of assault. I did not receive a card, or warning from the ref in any way, I was informed about a week later that I was banned for 10 games after they saw video footage with no audio. I was told I could have a copy of the video for my records and then completely and repeatedly ignored when I reached out to the manager. They are very unprofessional and only care about the money coming in and not at all about the safety of there players! I would never send my kids to play here or ever play here again. They cover there selves instead of worrying about the safety of the people paying money to play here. I have played at this facility for over 10 years, and this new management is awful.
I also find it very unprofessional and frankly disrespectful how management can take the time to reply to a bad review, but not to the many emails I have sent regarding this situation. They are more concerned about the outward appearance of reputation than actually correcting any concerns or making anything right!

UPDATE: *still* yet to receive a call back even after they replied to this review 3 days ago that they would reach out
I have been coming here every week for the past 10 years while it was under the old ownership “Creekside” - I played in their leagues and rented the smaller astroturf field every week with my friends twice a week for 7+ years straight.
Since TOCA soccer took over and the year turned into 2024, they cut off field rentals and switched to GoodRec platform for renting which requires a whole different process and it is very hard to get approved as a host for GoodRec unless you have been using their platform for 6 months-1 year (what I was told by GoodRec representative after they denied my application to be a host)
In the meantime, TOCA has changed their rental policy again and is now something that is manager approved (what I was told by an employee when I called on Monday 1/22/24). They said the manger was not available to speak and they took down my name, number and preferred rental dates and times and said someone would call me back. It is now Friday the 26th and I have not received a call from anyone. I called every single day in between asking for a manager and was told each time that the manager is not available to speak.
I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service considering I have been a longtime customer of the establishment and I, as a coach at a local academy, have sent plenty of kids to train there and play in leagues over the years.
You would think they would appreciate someone’s interest in renting the field on a consistent and guaranteed basis…

The staff was much more aware of activities and more supportive and friendly (including the younger staff) The coaches were actually coaching and interacting with the kids. Practice time is not a full hour but they were doing drills and showering some techniques that were greatly needed. There should be more opportunities for the kids to practice handling the ball but much better attempt this season. My biggest issue is there needs to be more training on field position and teamwork. Goalies should be trained during practice as well.

I recently brought my son to Toca Soccer Center, and he had a great time. However, I was disappointed with a few aspects of our experience. While we were at Creekside, we had two practice days a week, and the teams had color jerseys, which made the experience more enjoyable for the kids. Additionally, at Creekside, the kids received medals at the end of the season.
My main concern is the high price of their training. The cost seems excessive, and I don't feel like my son is getting the proper soccer training he needs. They don't practice with their team, which is essential for building camaraderie and learning to play as a unit. Furthermore, the players are not being taught field awareness, a crucial aspect of the game.
Unfortunately, due to these issues, I won't be continuing with Toca Soccer Center next season. I'll be exploring other soccer facilities with more reasonable prices and a better focus on player development and teamwork.

I grew up playing soccer at high competitive levels (both outdoor and indoor) and I am also certified as a grade 8 referee. I played three games here at Toca and got repeatedly beat up and abused on the field. I understand that soccer is a very physical sport, however, players should not be slammed into walls, kicked or pushed with excessive force, etc. Unfortunately at Toca, and with a particular "referee" (who isn't a certified referee) all of those violations happen with no repercussions to the player committing the offence. The number 1 job of the referee is to protect the players on the field by keeping control of the game and needless to say that doesn't happen. All the players and teams participating at Toca are great players and great people, but it saddens me that they are having to put up with referees that don't care for the players. I will never go back and play at Toca because of the unprofessional referees.
Update 10/24/2023: I submitted a concern shortly after my original post and I have yet to hear back from them. I'm not even sure anyone has seen what I submitted.

Sent an email inquiring about registering my child and got no response so I decided to stop in. I was first told by young man that registration ended 2 weeks before hand. I explained that I called left a message and sent an email prior to that with no response. The older woman sitting at the desk with him then asked for my email to confirm as if I was lying. After she verified that I had indeed sent an email, the excuse was given that they had just changed ownership and may have overlooked the email and phone call which makes no sense. I asked for a brochure and when the next league would be starting. She wasn't helpful at all stating that she didn't know and didn't know where any brochures were. Biased team selection in my opinion. 4 of the best attackers playing in the same team in the current season. Several parents have reached out to demand for fair and balanced team selection but nothing has been done. Spoils the competitive nature of the game since some teams are much better than others. Hard not to believe that was done on purpose. Similar experience previous season. Just encourage your kid to have fun while playing regardless of score line as the odds may be against them.

Been playing indoor soccer on Monday nights here for years. Started out really fun and we had a great time. It wasn’t too competitive and great for those of us who are just trying to get in shape after former “glory days”.
However, recently it has become way too competitive. I’m a 5 flat woman and am getting thrown and hit into the ground with 0 calls despite it being a “low contact” league…shouldn’t matter if it’s “shoulder to shoulder”. Low contact means low contact. At no point should I be thrown to the ground in a “low contact” league without a call. It’s inconsistent. If someone goes down during the contact then, by definition, that is not “low contact”.
I am 6 months postpartum. I just wanted to play indoor soccer to enjoy myself, get my “pre pregnancy” body back, and just enjoy the game. Unfortunately, this is totally impossible with the attitudes that exist in this facility from players. Plus, my body currently just can’t handle these kind of tackles like it used to…especially as I am still bouncing back. This league was meant to help me get back in shape while my body recovers, but I leave every game with bruises all over my body, and sharp pain in my back and hips because I get pushed to the ground almost every game.
Again, the league started out really great. Truly. But it’s just not what it was at this point.
After tonight’s game, my team was literally fighting in the parking lot after the game…and my back is so sore from being trampled I can barely walk.
Unfortunately, it is too late to get my money back for this season (I asked) so I am literally sitting out the rest of the season and will not be rejoining in the following unless something drastic changes. I can’t risk injury while my body is still recovering.
If something does drastically change, I’ll happily come back and update this review. I’ve been playing soccer for over 20 years. I love the game, but I have dreaded going to every one of my games this season.
Also, side note. I think Dan is amazing, and he looks out for me the best he can, so this is in NO way directed at him.

This place has no consistency when it comes to coaching and player’s development. Most recreational sports places have a coach that’s assigned to a team that practice with the team and know their player’s strengths and weaknesses. Coaches normally work with their teams to develop their skills and build team camaraderie. At this facility, kids practice with different players from other teams at different times once a week, play on Saturdays and go home. Kids should be practicing with their team, developing their skills and preparing for the upcoming game. On game days, there is usually a different coach coaching the teams which is a problem because they are not familiar with all the player’s skill set. My kid has never played goalie all season and in the semifinal game, a random coach put my child in there with no directions and put our best striker on defense. That’s not smart nor fair to the team when you are trying to win. All season long, you hear parents complaining about the coaching during the games. In my opinion, the model the director use at this facility is not conducive for kids especially the ones that are novice to the sport.

I signed my son up for two summer soccer camp sessions as I wanted him to learn some basic soccer skills. The first week was okay except for when my son got shoved to the ground by another child right in front of me. I verbally reprimanded the child who pushed my son, and that is when one of the coaches took notice. I spoke with the manger/coach and he assured me it would be addressed with the child's parent. I sat at the picnic table doing my work, no one every said it was an issue. As a matter of fact, the older male coach even came by and checked on me, and made small talk. He was quite pleasant. I don't know what happened between the 1st session my son attended and the 2nd session. However, unbeknownst to me, I returned to a whole set of rule changes which was not communicated prior to the program start. I would expect rules to be clearly communicated via a written program policy when you sign up or an email prior to the session. However, this was not the case. Actually, they called themselves sending out an email reminder of the rules after the 1st day of the 2nd session. Now parents cannot sit at the picnic tables anymore and have to sit in the bleachers, which is fine. While there, I was basically told I shouldn't interact with my child during his breaks. Why welcome the parents to stick around if you are going to restrict their interaction with their own children?!?! A thirty second sip of water should not be such an issue. My son came out one time prior to break, and it was because his nose was running, and there the owner stood anxious to usher him away. Then water break came, all the kids exited the field to get water, and my son came to drink water, and once again, a coach was right there telling me he needed to be by the picnic area. Finally, snack time came and it was the same thing, he couldn't sit with me to eat his snack. It became really upsetting because there was no real valid explanation as to why the sudden rule change! The owner just told me, "We are responsible for all the kids!" Took my son's snack and walked him off eventhough I opposed (I was not comfortable with him taking off his mask and eating around a bunch of unmasked children). The number one person responsible for my child is ME! So for me, that is not a good enough excuse. Also, I felt completely singled out because the parent sitting on the next bleachers child would come and sit next to her for water break, drinking his water and not one time did anyone rush over to usher him away or tell her he couldn't sit with her. It was only me they had a problem with. I watched another young girl go running to her mom at the bleachers when she saw her mom arrived, once again, no one was rushing over to usher her back to the field or picnic table area. Why was I the one singled out?!?! Needless to say, I will not be returning or recommending anyone I know to this facility. Other programs that my son is signed up with very much encourages parent participation and interaction. This was not what I signed up for nor expected.
I believe the staff person that other reviewers complained about is actually the owner! I didn't care for her in the least bit. She does not have a pleasant disposition and is very much condescending.
