Great positive atmosphere. The local owner and team show genuine care. Compared to big commercial gyms, I appreciate the individual focus and personal investment. It helps build long-term goal alignment and steady motivation. I highly recommend giving Treigned a try to see if it’s right for you.

I have been working with Madison since summer of 2024. And after six months of hard work, I have seen a huge progress with my muscle tone and abilities with hiking and running. The culture at Treigned is inclusive and it’s a great group of encouraging people. I’ve also taken some group classes and the people who take classes there are very welcoming and friendly, and it makes it a nice group and community to be a part of

Started coming here about 2.5 months ago. I was fresh out of 10 week recovery from a spine surgery. When I walked in I was just grateful to be walking. I only pursued a personal trainer because my surgeon said I really needed to build myself up after I healed to protect my spine from further injury. I met Lance and I felt comfortable with him immediately. He was very knowledgeable about the body and knew how to protect my back as I worked out. He was very conservative starting out and just built me up over time. Fast forward to this week and I'm doing deadlifts and forward inchworm planks. I'm stunned considering after the surgery in March I had a nurse help me go to bathroom (fall risk), I needed a walker to stand and couldn't even bend to pick up a bag of groceries. I'm not done with my journey and haven't hit all my goals but I can see that I'm a different person. It's now a habit to come in and if I miss my workout then I feel off for the rest of the day. There's a great energy here and the people are really encouraging. I'm getting nutritional coaching from Coach Lou who is also a trainer/coach. He has given me a completely different perspective on food and nutrition. I'm actually eating more since I started working with him. Can't say enough good things about this place. It feels like they're saving my life because I can live better since I started. I rode a jetski in August, even flipped over (bad turn) and I was able to flip it back in the middle of the water and climb back up. It's not just about how your body looks. It's about energy, strength and feeling like you can do things that seemed impossible before. This is the place to start hitting your goals.

I started coming to Treigned about 2 months ago and I never thought I’d look forward to weight training but I was wrong! Lance and his team have created a welcoming environment that challenges each person at their level! I’ve never spent much time in a gym or with weights (let alone heavy weights!) but I look forward to every daily workout at Treigned. It’s an incredible value and I think there’s something for every fitness level and age here. If you’re worried about being clueless or intimidated, I can assure you Treigned will be a welcome & assuring place for your health goals.

I joined Treigned at the end of 2019 because I was tired of the same routine I had for years at OTF. I had been at my goal weight for a few years and didn’t feel like OTF gave me enough time with the weights to build up my muscles. I met one of the owners, Lance, when I took my son for a Speed & Agility class and we talked about how I was looking to build muscle to not only protect my joints but also to gain more strength. I scheduled an intro class with him the following week and then decided to cancel my OTF membership to switch to Treigned because I knew it was going to be more challenging and a better environment for me.
I originally told Lance that I try to work out 2-3 times a week because I have kids’ activities the other days and I play soccer on Sundays. That only lasted about a month and now I go almost every day. You are given a workout each day to follow but Lance or one of the other trainers are always there with you to give you modifications or substitutions if you want to target a different area that day. It is almost like having a personal trainer each time but you also get the camaraderie of the other members in your sessions. The music isn’t super loud so you can actually converse and build relationships and a community that makes you want to come workout every day. As for my goals, I have built a lot more muscle and have actually lost 7 more pounds that have stayed off.
The best part is that this place doesn’t have to be just for you. They have kids (as young as 5 years old) training in there as well. Some are doing weights and others are doing Speed and Agility. So, if you are interested in showing your children a healthy lifestyle or want to improve their performance in athletics, you can bring them here and get in a workout yourself while they train. It becomes a family event
If your goal is to lose weight, come to Treigned. If your goal is to gain weight/muscle, come to Treigned. If your goal is to maintain your weight/muscle, come to Treigned. If your goal is to get motivation for a healthy lifestyle, go to Treigned. If your goal is to get your whole family healthy, come to Treigned. Honestly, this place is flexible and will help you achieve any of your goals.

I have been going to Treigned since January 2020 and have no regrets. Lance Smith, the owner, tailors the workout to your strength and capabilities. He is patient and ensures that we use proper form so as not to injure oneself. He will educate you on techniques and the body part that is at work. The trainers Greg, Robyn, Frank, and the others are always helpful and provide instruction even when they are not working with you specifically.
I have seen so much definition and tone in my body. I am able to lift more weight and still look like a lady and not look bulky. I have lost weight and love what i see overall.
In light of COVID the gym is clean and he utilizes CDC protocol.
I am at the gym at least 5 days a week and enjoy the challenge. This is a great gym and they treat us like family.

My wife joined Treigned almost 18 months ago and she convinced me to join in Dec '19. Lance and the rest of the Treigned team are simply the best. Great workouts with awesome variety - there is always a new exercise or technique that removes any boredom from the routine. And the workouts are perfectly flexible - show up when you can, do the whole routine or just half - no judgements, just give what you got each day. What I love most is the group is almost like family at this point. It's great to show up and see friends and familiar faces - people that will help you get through even the toughest workout. And over the year Lance has found ways to bring in other facets to the gym - like Frank with Speed and Agility, or yoga/stretching classes. I simply love the place - good people supporting each other so we can all be just a little bit healthier each and every day.

I have been a member at Treigned for a year now and joining was such a great decision. I initially began by taking our youngest son to Speed & Agility classes and Lance began talking to me about my fitness journey and invited me to take a class. I have been in pretty good shape during my life and had been working out on my own, using different videos and apps. I seriously struggled for those first few classes. They pushed me harder than I been pushing myself. After 4-6 weeks I was so much stronger and had so much more endurance. Lance is so intentional about how he designs workouts and it truly shows with your recovery and how your body responds. At 47 I am the best shape I’ve been in and I owe a big part of that to the training I receive at Treigned. Lance and the entire Treigned crew are warm, caring, and truly like family.

The kids and wife have a great positive experience at this place. They've adjusted their hours to accommodate the changes in school time. The kids have fun with drills and exercises and if you want to take it to the next level they will help you get there. My daughter did 5th-grade basketball last year and her lack of conditioning made it rough on her. She tried out for 6th-grade basketball and probably.is a top 3 player. Part of it is due to her vastly improved strength and condition.

I have to say working out at Treigned Fitness has been my best work out experience thus far. Every trainer is committed to your success. I LOVE Treigned! I started 4/1/19...I was 140, and now I'm 130 4 weeks in. Lance is my trainer and he's GREAT. He has the perfect personality to keep you motivated while pushing you during your workout and also making you laugh. Dewayne, Mac, and Greg are all very welcoming and motivating as well. This gym family feels like hanging out with good friends; laughing, having fun, but getting FIT at the same time!
