True Method Pilates is a full service, classical Pilates studio featuring Gratz apparatus. All instructors on staff have been certified by Romana Kryzanowska (Joe Pilates Protege) and/or a member of her certifying staff. We offer private and duet sessions in addition to semi-private equipment classes and mat classes. The studio is open Monday-Saturday for all session types by appointment. We are proud to have served the Canton and Milton, Georgia area since 2011.

I can’t recommend enough. Julie is very knowledgeable, experienced and patient with beginners. She gives great ques that will help you catch on in no time. If you are living with back pain I recommend giving Pilates a shot, it has significantly help my back pain. Very friendly and professional, check it out!

Erin was nice to my daughter and I and helped us as we were new to Pilates; so I'd giver her 5 stars but 0 stars for change policy/schedule flexibility. I know Julie will respond to this review with a similar diatribe as the text she sent me BUT for parents or working professionals that have fluid schedules, you might want to seek a place with a more lenient approach to class changes or you lose your money in its entirety.

Julie at True Method is outstanding. She is kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and able to design workouts for people (like me) who have physical limitations and back problems. She is proactive and knows what I need - I'm always amazed at how she knows why I'm hurting and how to fix the problem. She encourages you to try but doesn't push if you aren't ready. Working with her and doing Pilates has helped my back more than anything I've tried before. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio!

Not all Pilate studios are the same. That’s VERY important as you try to find a studio. This isn’t your run of the mill Club Pilates type place…this studio provides precise movements with specific instruction, tailored to YOUR needs. Honestly, Club Pilates is basically for people who don’t exercise. Don’t expect to come here and use TRX equipment and do cardio for an hour. Expect to have specific instruction with the exact movements your body needs. You will be physically and mentally challenged as you move and become stronger.
I have a 20+ year back ground in weight lifting. I trained as a figure competitor from 2007-2016 (these are the pics I loaded) which resulted in muscle compensations that have led to random aches and pains over the years. Pilates has not only improved my strength in the weight room, but has eliminated my nagging pains due to imbalances (that I didn’t even know I had!!).
Julie is not only a wealth of knowledge regarding muscles, movement and classical form, but she’s skilled in injury management and progressing movements to ensure your session is challenging yet safe!! Truly a gift!!
If you have a ballet, figure skating or athletic background you can come here a confidently know that you will challenged with every session. If you’ve never tried Pilates, you must give it a try!

Julie and Erin are the best! They are both very caring professionals with an extensive knowledge about Pilates and how to improve your overall core strength and fitness. I have been going to True Method for two years and they have really helped me with my neck, back and shoulder issues. They offer very personalized sessions and always make sure you are using proper Pilates technique. I have gotten so much stronger, much more flexible and my posture is so much better. If you sit at a desk all day like I do, you need to check out this studio!

Julie and Erin are the best! Very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Always making sure I have the correct posture and position and use the correct muscles. For me as a dressage rider with multiple sclerosis they make a huge difference. Always walking out of the studio better than walking in. That is why I am a regular there since 2015.

Julie Allen runs an amazing Pilates studio. She is a superb instructor who gives individual instruction to help improve your core strength and overall fitness. She personally helped me achieve many PR’s in all of the Marathons and Ultra Marathons that I have done. I have had the pleasure of her instruction for many years. True Method Pilates is hands down the best Pilates studio I have ever utilized. Julie Allen is the owner and the trainer I am most familiar with there. She has an incredible knack for understanding my body and my movements - and being able to provide the tiniest correction to exercises that make a huge difference in their effectiveness. The studio is clean and staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Erin and Julie developed my strength and flexibility in leading up to qualification for the US Dragon Boat team and preparation for the 2014 & 2018 World Championships. They patiently took me through specific movements that addressed core strength and flexibility, or my inability to twist and reach out over the water. Over time they were able to measurably increase my reach, and the power of my stroke. The Head Coach and Assistant and Regional coaches measured the difference on the water, and noticed the improved technique. True Method Pilates - Erin and Julie - are considered co-partners in the 4 bronze, 2 Silver, and the Gold Medal for Team USA!!!

I have been going to True Method Pilates for the last five years and it has been a life changer for me! After two long rounds of physical therapy for back problems and multiple doctors and therapists encouraging me to get into Pilates, I finally listened and found Julie! Julie took great care in understanding my specific spine issues and history and helped me begin in a safe way to prevent any further injury through excellent one-on-one sessions. In no time she helped me build up the strength and skill to begin attending the group classes which I have been consistently doing weekly all these years. Julie and Erin are both wonderful instructors and I always enjoy the other ladies in the group 😊 And with their help to keep up my core strength and protect my back, I have not once had to go back to a doctor or physical therapist since I started. It has been amazing! Thank you ladies! I would highly recommend Julie, Erin, and True Method Pilates to anyone!!

I have never met two of the nicest and most professional women in all of my life than Julie and Erin. From the first time I stepped into the studio to the day I had to stop, and even after I left, these ladies have done nothing but behave above board as professionals and just all around beautiful and kind human beings. Anyone who actually knows them and have spent any time at all in their presence will know exactly what I am saying is true. If parking is an issue then that is something between tenants and is a conversation for the landlord and not by anyone commenting on Google. I can personally say in my 2 years I never had an issue or heard them complain of parking. I think it’s terrible to have someone trash this establishment and these hard working kind women in this manner. It’s sad really because these ladies do not deserve it. Regarding their skills — I went from an ortho telling me I would probably need surgery because I couldn’t bend over and stand back up to these ladies working with me slowly and carefully to get to the place where I was strong enough to get back to my prior level of fitness back into horse back riding, dancing and working out at the gym ... where I sit typing this review now. I look back to my days of working at “grandma level” to where I am now in the gym 5 days a week doing intense workouts and I can say without a doubt that I would not be where I am now without Julie and Erin and their careful, skilled and patient expertise... and yes, my doctor even now can’t believe where I am at physically because of Pilates. I don’t often leave reviews but what I read on here is appalling and most definitely untrue and I would be glad to tell everyone how much these ladies have changed my life.

I have been going to True Method Pilates for about 7 years. I know I am stronger and my posture is better. The strength in my core has translated into more balance, which has improved my golf score. I absolutely know that the mind/body connection learned in Pilates, along with the strength gained through the lessons, has improved my golf score from high 90's to low 80's. And I absolutely love taking classes from either Julie or Erin. They customize the session, considering any prior health or injuries. They are awesome instructors and help you reach "your" potential.
If you want to improve your overall health to include balance and body strength, take Pilates from Julie or Erin.

Julie is an incredibly talented Pilates instructor. If you feel great she can help you feel even better and stronger. If you need help healing from either an injury or just overdoing it, she will work with you so you walk out feeling fantastic. I have taken Pilates for over 10 years (I'm 60) at several different studios in different parts of the country and Julie is one of the best instructors I have had. She is consistently on her game. Julie also has very good Gratz equipment and plenty of it. Erin is also a wonderful instructor, I have had a few lessons with her and always walked out feeling stronger and healthier. You can't go wrong at this studio. If you are a beginner or advanced, they can help you reach your goals. The other clients are also fun and supportive too!
