We recently hosted a Ninja themed party at Tumbles Johns Creek, and it was fantastic! The kids had an absolute blast and loved every single activity. From the moment we arrived, the staff made everything so easy and enjoyable. Jesse was outstanding! He led and coordinated the entire event seamlessly, and his team was amazing: helpful, energetic, and on top of every detail. They took care of the setup, entertained the kids the entire time, and handled cleanup afterward, which made it completely stress-free for us. We hosted our son's 3rd birthday party here and he had the time of his life. From the get go the staff were very courteous, helpful and accommodating. we picked 3 activities for the party and they were excellently organized. The venue is spacious and perfect for kids under 6 years of age. We had a private space for all of our guests which is very rare to find. All the kids at the party enjoyed a lot, particularly the obstacle course with Zip line. some kids were a little younger but the staff helped them out during these activities. We are happy that we chose this place and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking at hosting kids birthday.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Do not sign up there or their classes. They will cancel classes without any notifications or won't pick up their phones to confirm classes. Tried calling multiple times in the morning to confirm but no one answers their phone. Ended up going there 3 times which classes were cancelled without notice and all they do is say tough luck. No open gym(what do the workers do there if the classes are cancelled?!), manager is never there, and wasted 30 minutes driving there and have a sad toddler that wanted to play.

Update: as of 8/6, 2 months and no one has reached out as stated in the reply, they don't not care.

I do not recommend you buy their class packs or classes here (especially since they've been promoting only their "camps"). This is the THIRD time in the past month we have driven over 30 minutes to get here and Tumbles cancels the class without notice or communication. Extremely disappointing and frustrating especially when you have a sad toddler. They cancel so much, that I always try to call in each morning to see if they actually will have class that they list on their schedule and no one picks up the phone ever. They take your money and don't respond.

Great place if they would follow the schedule they print out for you. So many times the schedule online and the actual printed schedule are different and they don’t follow either one. 3 times in the past month they have been closed when everything says they are open as well which leads to very unhappy children and a lot of wasted time. Whoever opens on Tuesday needs to show up to work. Besides that we love playing there

Update: they said it was due to a staff member falling ill but it’s happened the last 3 Tuesdays, please open your doors or send out an email so guests don’t waste time driving all the way over.

This review is long overdue. We had the BEST time celebrating our baby boys first birthday at Tumbles in December. It was literally fun for every one of all ages including the adults . Best decision ever. From beginning to end the entire staff was so helpful. Communication was clear. AJ called me a few times before the party day to touch bases and she also helped ease my anxiety a great bit. I am so thankful that I found Tumbles my son and daughter enjoy the classes and I love the structure of the classes. My daughter was very shy coming into Tumbles and they made my child feel very comfortable during the classes. I also want to come in them on their membership, the membership includes open gym Their play scape. I truly enjoy all the instructors as they are patient with my children and actually teach developmental skills then we have the opportunity to play before and after classes I strongly believe structure is important and that is why I came to Tumbles as I had the opportunity to meet with the Director and he was very helpful and informative. I am also thankful as I signed my kid up for their Valentine’s Day special Event that gives me my wife some alone for Valentine’s Day. We used to really love Tumbles, it was my child's favorite day of the week. However, the new format of the classes is overwhelming for small children. We understand the Tumbles curriculum and appreciate their work to incorporate different learning modalities. That said, my child was not given the opportunity to do the best thing to promote learning and development - play!! Toward the end of our last session, we found that we were spending more time sitting around or trying to quickly transition from one overwhelming activity to the next than we were actually playing. As someone with a degree in childhood education, I understand the crucial need for kids, especially toddlers and younger children, to have processing time. The instructors did not allow appropriate time for the littles to process instructions or transitions. Any time my child wanted to explore or take a moment to pause between activities, they were told to "hurry, hurry, hurry! Clean up! Come help! Come over here! Try this! Everyone has to try! You need to participate!" At times, my child would be in tears because the instructor was nearly forcing them to participate in an activity they weren't comfortable with doing. Needless to say, the constant string of directions and chaotic change of activities is too much for the little kids (for reference, my child was 17 months old). Additionally, the music is SO insanely loud that the adults can hardly hear themselves think. The current way the classes are being run is restrictive, overwhelming, and does not properly foster crucial tools for early childhood development.

The need for organization is also evident. We showed up to class recently and nothing was set up, which was understandable, but then staff proceeded to ask if we were there for open gym. I actually had to remind them that they had a class of littles coming in less than 5 minutes. They had completely forgotten their own class times, and to top it off the instructor was running late so someone else had to fill in, which just created even more disarray.

We would love to go back to Tumbles, but not until they make some very important changes with toddler processing time in mind.

Staff has changed. Membership is great for the playscape and open gym hours, but the fun of the actual classes has unfortunately been lost for my 2 year old. We loved taking gym classes here with Skot for the year+ we've been coming here. With the new staff, classes are more formally structured, with less free play between activities. My toddler missed being able to run around and play, and she spent a lot of time just sitting around. Music is also too loud to hear the teacher giving instructions, which made the class confusing. The emails look nicer now though.

Another party group was setting up in the venue before the party we were attending was finished. They might consider not booking so tightly together. We’ve been here more than once. I was so looking forward to participating in one of their classes but left incredibly disappointed.

Upon arrival, it was very confusing what was going on. Staff lacked clear communication. Instructor checked in one family and then had me pay for my trial by typing in my own credit card info into the computer while she went to set up for the class. The computer continued suggesting I use other customers credit card info that was saved. Please note I had no CVV or expiration dates of those cards so I couldn’t use. However, this is a major security issue. I should have walked out then to protect my own CC info. I hope I don’t regret that.

The class had no flow. The activities were abruptly changed every few minutes. Each activity had a song that the instructor would try to find on her phone. She would try to adjust volume and it would blast, then be so quiet you couldn’t hear it. You all need to make a playlists to help with the flow. The instructor was very enthusiastic but didn’t seem to engage with the kids at all. The whole experience was just awkward.

Lastly, if the “trial” isn’t free, you need to update your website. I had luckily called before so it wasn’t a surprise when I got there.

I gave it two stars because I think the instructor had good intentions and meant well. Execution was poor.

We booked my son's 4th birthday party here. Alex and the entire team were amazing! From set up to clean up to coordinating the activities, this experience was great for the kids and parents. We arrived early and the team helped me set up my decorations and the tables and all the food and drinks. The kids loved the activities; we chose the snowball fight, parachute and zip line. Came here for a birthday party as a guest so I don't know the cost or logistics involved in the planning process. However, the party was on the larger size of attendees and the gym was able to accommodate everyone comfortably as there are two rooms to play and hang out in. One room larger than the other and two different types of climbing/gym areas.

The ideal age for Tumbles in my opinion is 5 and under. Although a 6, 7, or 8 year old might be able to enjoy the space they certainly are borderline and a gang of them would easily take over and run out of room. At this party TONS of toddlers and mobile infants were able to PLAY, RUN, & move about comfortably in both play areas and parents could easily supervise them in a relaxed way. They had 5 round tables with 4 chairs at each table in the back area where the indoor climbing play structure is located. Approximately 10 very comfortable chairs along the wall also with a full view of the structure and the children inside. If I had to make a guess there was around 15-ish toddlers a hand full of young but slightly older children running about and it was still plenty of room. In total I would approximate 20-30 children and their families attended. So a large party for a 1 year old birthday. At one point everyone was crammed into the smaller room in the front for the singing of happy birthday and cake. It was standing room only for that portion and gave it a very cozy homey feel to have everyone close together for that bit but then to easily disperse throughout the gym to play again.

The women's bathroom had two stalls, was clean and comfortable, so I found it able to easily handle the # of pple without any lines. They had 2 staff members managing the party. The gym seemed to be closed to the general public during the birthday party.

Overall I found this place to be a lovely place to have a toddler's or older mobile infant's birthday party and even with the large numbers it was very comfortable and relaxing. For all attendees young and old. HIGHLY recommend from my experience but I've only been here this one time.

Not sure why our experience didn't match other reviews I've seen. And (disclaimer) we were on a free trail.
The class lacked any energy or flow. There was no introduction from the teachers, although it was our kid's first time there. They started late and there were large chunks of time where our kid wasn't doing anything. The class was very improvised and seemed to lack any sort of structure or planning. Teachers provided very little engagement and seemed to not want to be there. Our 3 year old was very specific that he wanted to try gymnastics again but somewhere else.

After reading several Google reviews, I knew I wanted to host our son’s second birthday party at Tumbles. Skot and his team did not disappoint! Skot was very communicative in the planning and in the days leading up to the event. We were given 30 minutes for setup, which ended up being more than enough time given that Alex, Diego, and Jillian were all hands on deck to help make the venue a fire truck explosion!

I cannot recommend this venue + this team enough. It was awesome being able to shut down the entire facility for our part, too: that extra measure of safety was super nice. And the venue was very clean, and the staff had organized games for a bunch of little toddlers running around. It was truly the best! Thank you, Tumbles!

Celebrated my sons 3rd birthday party here. We had some miscommunication regarding the package that was talked about. We were able to accommodate however, when I booked I asked if it was instructor lead which they said the gym time was I specifically asked about working with the parachute and keeping 3 year olds entertained. The only instructor lead activity was the zip line which they also limited how many times the kids went on. The last 10 minutes they threw in some white soft balls and called it a snow fight.
The 90 minutes session was so rushed. We asked if we could pay for additional time and the staff said no- which is okay, we understood.
The place was no where near clean. The trash can was full from the previous party, the floor hasn’t been swept. We had to pull an additional trash can from the staff room.
I gave 2 starts because one of the 2 staff members was very attentive to our needs and was honestly doing a really good job, trying to clean up and set up the tables, Offered to warm up some of our food.

We love Tumbles!! My daughter, who is now 5, has been going to their different camp programs for the various school holidays (Christmas Break, Thanksgiving, Presidents Day, etc) and recently did her first Summer Camp there and she absolutely loved it! She told me it was her favorite camp of the summer and she's done 3 other camps this year. When I was signing up for the party, I was told that the kids would have an instructor play with them and go through fun games. The associate that was working our party just spent 20 minutes with the kids. Did some very basic games, even though I requested to have some interesting activities. Tumbles has been a dream come true for my toddler!! They’ve managed to combine the best aspects of Gymboree, the Little Gym, and Catch Air all into one magical place! I really can’t say enough good things about Tumbles and it’s been the happiest part of my son’s year. The other children in his class are so friendly to each other, the parents are fun to hang out with, the teachers are extremely experienced and PATIENT, and the facility is clean & comfortable. I've never written an internet review before, but Tumbles was so great that I had to. We finally decided to have a post-pandemic birthday party for our child. The staff at Tumbles was excellent. Prior to the day off, they helped planning (i.e. food estimates, when to have food delivered, age appropriate activities, etc). The day of the party, they were instrumental in putting up the decorations, welcoming the guests, serving the lunch and cake and clean up. This gave us more of a chance to spend time with the kids and other parents, rather than just keeping track of logistics. The children, themselves, loved both the gym side and the Tumble Zone. Ours keep asking us when they can go back. Great experience, highly recommend.

This place is fantastic! My son is 2.5 and asks all week if today is the day we go to gymnastics. He can't get enough! It's great to get his energy out, socialize, learn new skills, and learn to listen and follow directions. He also loves playing on the "slide side" when we are done. My daughter loves the wrigglers class! We were looking for an activity that would increase her interaction with other children and work on her developmental milestones. I love watching her learn new things and explore. She has started to work on her forward tumble and hanging from a bar. It’s only been three weeks and I can see her confidence grow every class. Tumbles is a great way to work on meeting milestones through play. There is not immense pressure on the kids to perform all the activities and lots of free play time is included between focused activities. We celebrated my son's 5th birthday this past weekend at Tumbles Johns Creek and it was a wonderful experience! The planning leading up to the party was seamless with Skot, the Director. We had 9 of my son's friends from school attend and they all loved the space from the moment they arrived. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Toshiba were our coaches and event planners and they did an amazing job of running the show. Did my babygirls’ 2nd birthday party here last weekend. And to say I was blown away would be an understatement. As a mom of 2u2 in the middle of a pandemic…I’ll be honest planning my baby’s party became kind of a last minute thing.

My husband found Tumbles and honestly the rest is history. With the help of Sara (the lead teacher) we were able to pull an amazing baby shark inspired 2nd birthday for my princess.

You can rent out the place so no one outside of your party guests will be in the building and the staff who help are all vaccinated and wear masks the ENTIRE time!! Super covid safe!

The staff helped me setup all the decorations before the party, helped serve during, and helped clean up/put gifts into my car.

We love Tumbles Johns Creek!! Ms. Nina is the best Ninja and Gymnastics teacher. My kids look forward to class all week. They learn listening skills, flexibility, and endurance skills. I highly recommend Tumbles! The management is super easy to work with. The membership is totally worth it. We also plan to have birthday parties here!!

My son (almost 2 and a half) has a very difficult time adjusting to new settings, but after the first 5 min of the Wiggles class, he opened up and LOVED it. I couldn't get him to leave 🤣🙈😭 ...

But overall, the structure of the class was amazing, the teacher was highly engaging and entertaining, so even the moms were having fun. My 4yo also enjoys her Stompers class, and talks about how much she loves her gymnastics teacher!

Everything is super clean. The director is amazing. She is very kind and welcoming to every person who walks through the door. Highly recommend Tumbles for every kid 1-7, boy or girl. It's fun for all!

My boys (ages 5 and 7) absolutely love the “camps” that Tumbles has been having on days where Fulton county schools are out. They have excellent covid precautions/protocols, small numbers, engaging activities for the kids, and it’s something they look forward to each time! I would encourage everyone to give them a try!

Tumbles Johns Creek has been the most exciting and engaging resource for my two young children (4 & 5) this past summer. All of the curriculum for the kids, from science to geography to fitness, has been conducted VIRTUALLY in a way that's enabled my kids to REALLY learn -- and most importantly -- to do so while HAVING FUN. Our kids have never met Ms. Lisa in person but absolutely love her. Highly recommended!

We love Tumbles Johns Creek! The facilities are clean and amazing! The activities they have for the Wigglers/Super Wigglers class is challenging and fun. All the staff and instructors have wonderful energy and are very sweet with the kids. We highly recommend Tumbles and are glad we switched from Gymboree now that our little guy is older! ❤️

We loved this place for my sons first birthday party. They have a lot of space for a cake and food table. So many great activities at the gym area for kids of all ages. I signed my daughter up for gymnastics here because it was new, super clean, and convenient, but I have been overwhelmed with the quality of instruction, how much my daughter loves it, how much she has learned in a short period, and how kind the staff are to me and my children. I love the set up that I can see into the gym area with just a half wall separating us. It's an ideal setup for young kids.

We had our 6 year old’s birthday party here today and it was absolutely fun ! Deja, Zoey and Donald (?) kept the party of 15 kids rolling non stop for 1.5 hrs with their infectious energy. Even the adults wanted to have go on the zip line .
We dropped off our decorations a day earlier , showed them a picture of what we wanted to achieve and everything was all set up when we turned up for the party ! They even had the cutest hand drawn name tags for every child .Everyone was very hands on right from set up all the way to clean up . We never felt rushed and it was truly the least stressful party we’ve ever planned.
The venue was spotless , everything was immediately wiped down - a big relief especially with the flu season . Thumbs up all around .

This place is s much fun for children. The staff is very attentive to the children and parents. Tumbles is very clean and sanitized. We saw the staff wipe down the tumble room after a birthday party while we were in the other room going through the climbing tubes. When they were done wiping down they came and told us we could use the tumble room. It was nice to go back and forth from the climbing room to the tumble room. Our grandchildren loved tumbles, we were there 3 hours and they were never bored. The staff even brought out plastic blocks and a puzzles for our children. We will be back!

After having a negative experience at another gym, I am SO thrilled to have found Tumbles for my three year old. It is super clean, a positive atmosphere, and the staff is amazing and truly knows how to work with young children! My little guy was very shy and nervous and cried before his first session (which the teachers handled so kindly and wonderfully), and by the second session he was so excited to go! I would recommend Tumbles without hesitation.

This place is really amazing. All the staff makes sure to interact with each and every child . They have been amazing with assisting me with the special needs child I work with . They have open gym and also offer amazning educational classes as well. There arent any places in the Alpharetta area that includes a place to take your kids for learning and fun . A plus for special needs as well.
